And so, I became the pet of this girl, named Naomi, her Brother named Nathan. 

It seems they started school recently, so as their pets I thought I would be flaunted endlessly, but I was wrong. 

Eating alone at a table meant for eight people with each other and their dogs, us. 

Playing alone at free time, with Nathan swinging a sword around and Naomi scratching my belly endlessly.

Doing a group project meant for six people alone, though it was done flawlessly by Naomi while Nathan slept away. Really, how did she even get full marks for it?

Somehow, don't they feel alienated? 

There were quite a few stares, though.

Also, please stop cheating with your Brother in exams, I can totally see that he's copying your answers right now, someone please catch them, it's so obvious.

 By the way, please stop reading that romance novel under the table, it's examination time, didn't anyone tell you to focus in exams? 

To think you acted so childishly and obedient in front of your Father…you'll get struck by lightning, you know? 

I'll tell your Father, you know?

"Oi." 

Ah, the teacher! 

"Don't read like that, put it on the table, it's bad for your neck."

Quickly, lunch time came around, and as always, the twins sat alone on a table, eating casually. 

But this time, a [Higher Demon] child approached us. 

Normally, the twins would be surrounded by normal demons, with small horns and tails, missing the wings the twins had. 

Also, I found out that the [Human] I lived with, was actually also a [Demon], and the lowest of the Low, apparently. 

The [Higher Demons] are differentiated by the purity of the red in their eyes, the twins had ruby like eyes, and so was this child approaching us. 

This child had red eyes, flashy red hair, silver wings and tail.  

"Naomi." He called out with a smirk, his hand placed on the table. 

Without glancing at him, she continued eating.

"What's so good about your sword fanatic Brother? You should just come with me."  

Nathan who had been stuffing an impressive amount of food into his mouth, becoming a chipmunk, slammed his hand on the table. 

"Shuddup."

"Who told you to interfere?" The boy snorted. 

Hey hey, I knew you all were quite the precocious children, but what's this? At the age of eight? 

Also, Though they look five, apparently their eight years old. 

"If you could be less annoying, I wouldn't."

"Brother!" Naomi complained.  

"Yes yes." He muttered as he ate another mouthful before turning to the boy, "If you win against me, I'll have Father permit your marriage." 

After a moment, the boy replied, "T-that's impossible!"

"Precisely."

Completely uninterested, I snuggled with Brother #1, his name now Ace. Really, these names, please change them, it's not official yet, it's not too late, just change them it's for the greater good for all of you, you know? 

As drama ensued before the table, Naomi, the cause of it all, reached her hand underneath the table and fed me a crystal. 

I've been eating crystals and meat only, twice a day I get real food and in the afternoon I get a crystal. 

Apparently with enough of them I'll evolve, ufufu.

As I rolled around on the floor, a red lizard came into my sight, perched on the shoulder of another student. 

Oh my. 

Oh my oh my oh my.

I want it. 

Staring straight at the creature, I adjusted my posture, as it noticed my hungry gaze.

Perhaps because it had never met my kind or as it was safely perched on it's owner, I stared at me with a look of contempt, as if saying, "Come at me!"

And as I had a staring showdown with the small red creature, my Brother, who had been unsightly rolling around, also noticed its presence. 

With a high pitched yip, he ran towards the owner, who was seated peacefully at her table, eating as she chatted comfortably.

Get!

I let him get ahead of me!

Unwilling to lose, I too, charged forward, the two of us pouncing on the unsuspecting victim, disturbing her meal as we chased the red lizard. 

"Fluffy!"

"Ace!" 

Ignoring our owner's calls, we jumped at the lizard, our jaws snapping at its tail that drooped over its owner's shoulder.

Ever since the forced ownership claiming, our size had grown from the size of a small watermelon to an impressive big watermelon.

What's the exact size you ask? I don't know either. 

Regardless, in the old house, we barely grew, the only thing growing was our fluffy fur that doubled both out size and cuteness factor. 

……I'll shave it off if I can. 

Anyways, with our size we easily toppled the poor girl backwards on her chair, pushing her to the ground. 

Realising the danger it was in, the lizard charged off the girl's body and made a break for it, however, with a body 3/4 of ours and legs barely 1/2 of ours, it was quickly caught in my jaws. 

Biting down on the torso of the lizard, I shook it vigorously. 

Unwilling to lose, Brother bit down on its tail before the two of our owners came to stand behind us. 

Oh my. 

[Eat it! Hurry up!] I thought as I started chewing on the already dead creature. 

But surprisingly, a similar thought came into my mind. 

[Let go! I'll eat it!] 

Eh?

Turning to my Brother, of course while I was chewing, our eyes met in confusion.

[Eat first!] a hurried voice called out as brother's jaws tackled the lizard with renewed force, and sensing a comrade in him, I too started to bite faster than before.  

"It's fine, that's just a fire salamander, we can just pay her back, the crystal inside it can serve as their food." A girlish voice came from behind me. 

How harsh!

Your heart is just a pitch dark hole! I thought as I mercilessly bit into the creature I had just killed. 

"…okay." 

Brooootheeeeerrr, you're no beetteeeerrr.

…not that I should be complaining. Regardless, with the two of us combined, we quickly decimated the poor animal and returned to our owners. 

From the distance, soft sobbing could be heard as the girl went to her pet, only to be grabbed by the wrist by Nathan. 

"How much was it?" 

Staring at him as if he spoke a foreign language with red tinged cheeks, she bit her lip with clenched fists, as if she were controlling herself to not slap him.  

Anyways, within a few minutes, we were scooped up in the sibling's arms who left the cafeteria after paying the girl.  

Yet as we reached, the Brother I knew who were trembling throughout the entire journey started radiating a dim glow.

"Ah, he's evolving." 

"How quick." 

"Maybe he's more connected to you? She's quite stubborn." She muttered, raising my body with a pout. 

TCH, who'll get attached to someone like you? Pfft. 

Anyways, Brother was placed on the floor and given space. 

It looks quite funny, with light shining from his mouth and eyes and ears, I think there was even a ray of light coming from his ass. 

Mmmm.

Slowly as the light got brighter and took up more space, brother's whimpers subsided. 

And after a Long Long time, the light disappeared and what was left was a dog with rather short, but still quite Long black and red fur , it's size roughly the size of a German Shepard. 

Basically, he was larger now. 

Oh no.
