CHAPTER 12: Kaito vs Nakamura
The referee blew his whistle and Kaito and Nakamura got into fighting states, Kaito unsheathed one of the daggers from his sheath on his back and Nakamurput on knuckles. They were both looking for the other's flaw but couldn't find any.
What is with this guy, I can't find any flaws in him, thought Kaito
This guy, he doesn't have any clearly shown flaws, how did he get this strong in just 5 days, I swear there were a lot of flaws in him the 2nd day, but that doesn't matter, if he doesn't have a lot of flaws, I just have to make him have them, saying that Nakamura closed his eyes and Kaito saw this as an opportunity to attack and he relaxed as he saw some flows in his stance and as soon as Nakamura felt the relaxation of Kaito he moved forward with very high speed to Kaito's blind spot and threw a punch at Kaito's face. Kaito reacted, parrying the attack by the dagger and jumping away from Nakamura. Kaito didn't know he was being attacked as he thought Nakamura seemed to be in a relaxed state because he had closed his eyes and thought that if he hadn't parried the attack he would have lost in a shot. He understood that going up against a player will be very though and he may die as well but, he felt reassured by the fact that, this was an official match and he can not die
"Oh you sensed that, I was thinking of finishing the match with one attack, seems like I have underestimated you" said Nakamura
Damn this guy, he is strong, but I think I can still win this, my 20 days of training will surely pay off ,thought Kaito.
The match continued and Nakamura was on the offensive again, he kept attacking Kaito again and again but Kaito was meeting every attack and successfully parrying it. As he was attacked more he decided that he had to counter and he decide to use the other dagger as well. He jumped up and Nakamura followed him, Kaito threw the dagger he was holding to the ground aiming for Nakamura and Nakamura dodged it and in that moment Kaito took out the other dagger and murmured, "Rewrite", it was one of the 5 skills he got when he got to level 10 and, in the 20 days of training in the infected dungeon he managed to experience the skills he got, mostly when fighting the boss and, he used the skill rewrite to change the dagger he holds into any kind of weapon when he pours mana into it although that was only what Kaito could find as a purpose for it.
As he muttered the skill, the dagger started to absorb mana from Kaito and the dagger he threw down flied back to his hand and, the two daggers joined together and it changed into a light metal staff. Kaito, in air and under him, Nakamura, needed to block the attack, swinged the staff to block the attack and after he blocked it, he attacked Nakamura with the staff and he hit his stomach and made him go to the ground. Smoke built up on the place where Nakamura had fallen and Kaito landed on the ground, Nakamura got up shaking his head and said, "I really have underestimated you very much so now, I will fight you seriously" and he thought in his mind, 'Right now I can only use 20% of the martial god transformation and because I focused on the stamina stat these past days, I should be able to beat him in 10% if he doesn't have any other tricks up his sleeve".
Nakamura started to gather mana and under went partial transformation of the martial god
"Now let's see how you beat me when I'm in this form"
Kaito knew that this transformation was a threat but, it was just a threat not danger, he thought he could defeat him if he used all his power and he decided to use every thing he has. He returned the staff back to the daggers and put one of them in his sheath.
Nakamura rushed in unbelievable speed to attack Kaito, aiming for his head, Kaito sensed the danger and he blocked the attack coming from Nakamura's right hand, Nakamura used his other hand to attack Kaito stomach but, Kaito reacted using one of the skills he got, Shield of impact, Nakamura's attack rebounded and he jumped back and looked at Kaito, Kaito was holding a red shield with a big white center which got bigger from its initial size.
Nakamura deemed that this shield will be a big obstacle as he had attacked Kaito with almost his full strength which should have knocked him out had it landed. Nakamura decided to use his full power and gathered more power and said, "20%" and a spike of power was felt from Nakamura.
Kaito knew that Nakamura had gotten stronger and started thinking of a way to defeat him but, after some thought he couldn't think of anything as so, he just decider to fight with everything he got. Kaito muttered, " Activate skill decode in defense mode".

In his time in his dungeon, Kaito had understood what the skill decode was about by reading its description that was showed by the system, it was a skill that allowed the user to de-form anything ,but that was its normal function and in its defensive function, it was a skill that can make anything that attacks the user pass through him and doesn't cause any damage. It seemed like an undefeatable skill but, the number of time the user can use the skill had two factors, Mana and the other's opponent strength. The skill is mainly used by consuming mana and, the mana needed to block the attack differed for everyone, for example, if a goblin attacks the user, the minimum mana needed would be from one to three and, if an orc attacks the user, the minimum amount would be from five to 10 and the list goes on.

As Kaito activated his skill set notice appeared in front of him and it said,"[ The maximum times the user can use the skill is two times]". Oh damn, only two times, I have to convince him that I can use the skill infinitely if I want a chance to win.
Nakamura started walking slowly upto Kaito and after some steps he seemed like he had teleported for most of the spectators but Kaito, who had been following Nakamura and had seen him move, knew that Nakamura was about to punch him. Nakamura threw a punch at Kaito's face but, his hands has passed through Kaito's face and was starting to glitch, Nakamura pulled his hand out and jumped back. He saw his hand, it was glitching and he looked at Kaito then back at his hand. Is this one of his skills? How many times can he use it? If it's infinite I'm in big trouble.
Kaito knew Nakamura was questioning himself about if this i can use this skill infinitely and ue thought, Right now my first plan has succeeded and now for him to fully believe I can use this skill infinitely, I have to attack him and make it seem like I will not get hurt even if he attacks me and he will surely attack me at somepoint so I have to attack and based on what Isabella told me, I think this guy isn't that bright so i think this will work. Kaito's heart was beating as he was planning this but he tried to calm down and do his plan properly.
Kaito went on the offensive and got his other dagger out and rushed to the confused Nakamura and swinged his dagger on his right hand, Nakamura dodged it easily while thinking of ways to defeat him if Kaito was indeed invincible, What should I do? Should I just stall him out until his stamina runs out? But maybe his stamina stat is greater than me. Nakamura was getting worried. Thinking about it won't help, I should just attack him again and check if he really is invincible.
Kaito attacked again and Nakamura dodged and threw a punch at Kaito but, his hands passed through Kaito as Nakamura had feared.
Nakamura jumped away from Kaito and looked at his hands once again, he thought of ways to defeat an invincible person once again as he was convinced that Kaito was invincible and he started thinking deeply.
Kaito thought that his plan had worked but his heart started beating fast knowing that he would have been badly hurt if his plan hasn't worked. Nakamura was so immersed in thinking and had unknowingly activated one of his skills, high sense, which maxes out all his senses and right now he was hearing fast beats.
Thump-Thump
Nakamura was hearing this, he looked around to see who it was making this sound and he knew who it was, it was Kaito's heart, his skill made it possible for him to hear the fast beat of Kaito's heart. Nakamura wondered, Why is his heart making that kind of sound? Aren't things going his way? So why is he worried? Nakamura could only think of one explanation, He must have been planning this! He tricked me, he may only be able to use his skill only once more or not even be able to use it. Now I have the upper hand, you will lose Kaito. Nakamura got ready to attack Kaito and rushed upto him.
Kaito realized in that moment that his plan had failed and he had to fight, Damn, it had come to this but, I had planned another plan if this plan failed. Kaito muttered, "Shield of impact", it was one of the five legendary skills Kaito had acquired when he reached level 10 and figured out how to use it in the infected dungeon. It had a white circle inside it and it and the white circle grew as it gets attacked and when the circles size becomes equal to the shield meaning the shield becomes full white, it releases the damage it accumulated at one impact point and it follows it target until it hits them, this was Kaito's finishing move if he is at a great disadvantage but, it had a grate draw back, it paralyzes the body of the user for a day but when they start moving again their defense will increase by 2.
Nakamura relentlessly attacked Kaito but he was blocked by the shield, after a lot of attacks the shield became fully white at last and Kaito smirked Nakamura who saw jumped away and Kaito said, "Well get ready for my finishing move.....Impact release" ,as Kaito said that the shield started to slowly turn back to red and the white gathering in the middle, then... a lot of power was felt from the shield and the white thing seemed to have become a perfect orb and as soon as Kaito aimed at Nakamura, the orb started to go to Nakamura slowly.
Nakamura didn't know what that was and because he thought it was something dangerous he jumped and went behind Kaito, Kaito couldn't do a thing as he had already gotten paralyzed, he stood there praying that Nakamura doesn't attack and his attack works.
Nakamura was about to throw a punch but stopped as the orb appeared in front of him, it was still moving slowly, Nakamura thought that because it was slow and it couldn't harm him because it couldn't touch him but he thought he should get away as he didn't know what it would do to him if it accidentally touches him.
He jumped to a different place but it still followed him slowly, Nakamura didn't know but because he only stopped after jumping the orb didn't have to move fast to touch him but, if he even seem to move away from where he is standing, the orb would touch him in mere seconds.
"Hey what is this thing, make it stop following me, will you" said Nakamura while moving a little to the left, the orb in unbelievable speed touched him as he moved and as it touched him, he felt a strong force pushing him away, the force was so strong he couldn't resist it after all, this was all his attacks combined. The force pushed him out of the stadium and into a wall and as per the rules of the event, a competitor who gets out of the stadium loses and as so Kaito was announced the winner.
