I have now learned a bit more about what to call the bright-day cycles, and how to count them. The bright time is “day”, the dark time is “night”, and seven of them is a “week”. Aunties are so nice! They are helping me learn many things.
A “week” has passed since the Adoll-men were last taken away. Since then, home has been much quieter. It seems that only “travel men” are visiting us now and not any of the “local men”. I did not know there was a difference in men, and I haven’t figured out how to tell them apart yet. I’ll keep an eye open though! If they’re different, I’ll learn how to tell which is which, in time. I want to make my Aunties proud of me!
Aunty Gina said that for a cathouse, we must be the most peaceful cathouse in the world! I’m happy. A peaceful home is a good home. Someday, I wish to meet the cat whose house we’re living in to think it for having such a nice place to stay.

The other thing that bothers me is the Aunties seem restless and worried. They have been putting their shiny stones together and whispering at the table, but I don’t know what the problem is. Do they want the men to come back so they can return the stones to them? They are shiny and pretty, but somehow the Aunties seem worried over them. Did the Uncles leave them behind by accident? Did they let them borrow them, and not come for them back?
How can I fix it?
