The GOD Chronicles

00:03:22//00:00:00

Many sky cycles have passed since I came to be with the new Aunties; and they have confirmed that there is something wrong with my body.  I heard one of the saying so.  “Isn’t it amazing, Odie has been here a weak now.”   (Apparently "Odie" is another of my names.  I wonder how many I can have?)

I knew I was weak, and they have confirmed it!  I am sorry Aunties.  I cannot seem to fix myself, no matter how much I try.  Only much infusion of milk into this frame seems to slowly strengthen it and allow it to grow.  I shall attempt to gorge myself on as much as possible in hopes that I can grow big and strong faster.

But, putting aside my own weakness, this time has been an amazing learning experience with the new Aunties.  I miss Mother, and I hope she is happy wherever she is, without her head; someday I will grow stronger and return to her side and fix her; but I am truly happy to be here with the new Aunties who talk and teach so much.

Much to my amazement, I have discovered that Uncles and Aunties are different!

There was an Uncle who came and visited Aunty Gina the other night, while I was resting in the crib in her room.  She used the name Gem then, because she was ‘working’, whatever that is – and he foolishly tried to drink milk from her boobs for several minutes as he pulled and tugged to get her out of her clothes.  I can only imagine his disappointment, as they are broken like my Aunty Helena’s were.  Sorry Uncle, but there’s no milk in them.

Still though, Uncle must be a nice enough guy, because he kissed her many times and took off his clothes as well.  That’s when I learned something amazing – Uncle has a single teet which hangs between his legs!   And he was nice enough to let Aunty Gem get milk from him.   I would’ve been upset had I sucked on a boob and not gotten milk, but Uncle was very nice and understanding.  I must learn more patience from Uncle.

I also learned something else which was completely amazing – Aunty Gem has two mouths!  Not only did he let her feed from the top mouth, which is similar to the one I use, he then feed a lower mouth which was hidden between her legs.  No wonder the Aunties talk so much – they have two mouths!

After he was done, he left some shiny pebbles on the bed as a gift for Aunty Gem, and she washed and checked on me.  She told me how good I was, being quiet while Uncle was there, and how she was happy I didn’t interrupt her work.  I promise Aunty, I won’t ever interrupt your work – just as soon as I figure out what this ‘work’ thing is.

I must say, Aunty must get very hungry whenever she is doing the work.  Several Uncles visit her most dark cycles and feed her, before leaving her some of those shiny stones.  The Uncles in this village seem much nicer than the ones back home were to Aunty Helena.  I like them.

Well, there was one I didn’t like.  He came in and hit Aunty Gem!  Slapped her and knocked her to the bed, claiming he was going to teach her what a real man was.  I don’t know what a real man is supposed to be, as I fixed him before I could find out.  He was happy to be fixed too!  He ran out of the room, yelling loudly, and spraying a pretty red over everything.

I knew there had to be something wrong with his hand – it hitting my sweet Aunty and hurting her – so I simply made it go away.  I'm glad it made him so happy too!

Some strange men in shiny suits that clinked and clanked came by to visit a while after that while Aunty was cleaning the pretty red off the walls and floor.  They called her a “murderess”.  Aunty told them it was “divine retribution” and they said many things back and forth, and used words I didn’t understand.  What I did come to understand was that they were going to take Aunty away, and she didn’t want to go.  They were making her sad.

So, I fixed it.

When the Aunties had taken me around the village the bright cycle previous, I saw a little Aunty – but bigger than me still – with a small Uncle a little smaller than me.  He was a funny Uncle and she dragged him along and talked to him.  He made her happy.  Aunty Amber saw me watching and told me that the little Uncle’s name was “Adoll”.

These men reminded me of Adoll – though they were much bigger and louder, of course – so I fixed them to become more like Adoll was.  I let the stiff things in their arms and legs go limp, I made them no talk, and they just crumpled onto the ground and lay there just as Adoll did with the girl.

Aunty Gem left after that and some more Uncles showed up a bit later and took the new Adolls out.  I guess they’re going to look for some little Aunties to give them too.  I hope they make whoever they go to very happy.

Aunty Gem was quite happy.  She said the Gods were watching over us, and wouldn’t let anyone separate us, like they had her daughter.  Aunty seemed both happy and sad at the same time, so I didn’t know what to do.  I’ve never seen happy-sad before.  I want Aunty happy-happy, but I don’t know how to fix the happy-sad.  There is still so much I don’t know.  I must learn, so I can make Aunty happy.

Strangely enough, none of the Uncles have come and helped feed Aunty since then.  I hope she’s not hungry.

In fact, I don't think anyone has come and visited any of the Aunties since that dark cycle.  They must all be busy elsewhere.

Aunty Gem…  I mean Gina, when she’s not working.   Aunty Gina, and the other Aunties,  seem happy, so I guess all is well.

As long as my Aunties are happy, I’m happy.
