Rose looked over the notifications. There was a blinking one that she had completely spaced out and forgotten about. The placement of the stores. She would have to talk to Larry about that in the evening once they got back. Focusing on the now, she put a point each into [VITALITY], [AGILITY], [DEXTERITY] and [CHARISMA]. Her team was now resting in one of the nearby houses so it was the perfect time. Martin had already picked a class and a profession. There was apparently a decent list for both. He had gone with the class [GUARDIAN KNIGHT], but he wouldn’t tell them what profession he picked for some reason. Getting excited, Rose agreed to select her class.
Choose your Class from the following:
* FIGHTER
* GUARDIAN KNIGHT
* WARRIOR
* MAGICIAN
* SUMMONER
* RUNEIST
* ROGUE
* THIEF
* GAMBLER
* HEALER
* ACOLYTE
* CULTIST
* ARCHER
* TAMER
* SAVAGE
All Classes may be upgraded at levels 30, 60, 120, 240, 480, etc.
You must have reached [LEVEL 15] in your first class in order to select your second. This rule does not apply to Professions.
Well, it was an interesting selection. [SUMMONER] sounded right up her ally. So did [TAMER]. But isn’t that what any enemies would expect when they saw her? So far, she had moulded herself into a supporting role, and she wanted to continue that trend. She could have a more active supporting role if she chose [ARCHER], but she didn’t know anything about archery and didn’t have a bow in the first place. Maybe when they placed the stores, she would pick one up and try. Throwing magic fireballs and playing around with runes sounded pretty cool too. There were so many options. She had to think. What would suit her role best? How could she help those around her best? Glancing around she saw the scratches from close calls that scarred her team’s bodies. They had already sent three people back to home base for being too injured to continue and one guy had lost a lot of blood. She wasn’t sure if he’d made it. They’d lost two parties in order to have the injured escorted home. Not needing to reason out her choice she picked [HEALER].
You have chosen [HEALER].
This Class provides the following:
1 [INTELLIGENCE] attribute point per level
1 [WISDOM] attribute point per level
2 spare attribute points per level

Rose confirmed the selection. How were skills different from abilities? Something to once again learn in the future she guessed.

Well she could only have one class at the moment, so why not? She agreed again. Now to find out what these skills did and how to use them.
[REPAIR INJURY]
Casting this skill repairs all bodily injuries. This skill requires a minimum of 10 [WISDOM] for a cast. The effectiveness of this skill is dependent on the class’s level and the [INTELLIGENCE] attribute.
[CLEANSE]
Casting this skill cures the body of any poisons, toxins or diseases. Also cleanses any grime from a body or room. Dependent on intent. This skill requires a minimum of 10 [WISDOM] for a cast. The effectiveness of this skill is dependent on the class’s level and the [INTELLIGENCE] attribute.
[SERENITY]
Casting this skill calms all allies and boosts [VITALITY] by 20% within the skills range for ten minutes. This skill requires a minimum of 20 [WISDOM] for a cast. The range of this skill is dependent on the class’s level and the [INTELLIGENCE] attribute.
[MAGIC SHIELD]
Casting this skill creates a magical shield that will guard intended members from physical and magical attacks within the skills range. This skill requires a minimum of 25 [WISDOM] for a cast. The effectiveness of this skill is dependent on the class’s level and the [INTELLIGENCE] attribute.
[REPRIEVE]
Casting this skill regenerates allies health within the skills range for ten minutes. This skill requires a minimum of 30 [WISDOM] for a cast. The range of this skill is dependent on the class’s level and the [INTELLIGENCE] attribute.
Wooow. She was impressed. Rose didn’t even have the full amount of [WISDOM] to cast some of these skills. She would have to work on that. Okay, next. On to the professions.
*DING*
Professions Available.
Would you like to select your Profession?
[Y/N]
That’s a yes.
Choose your Profession from the following:
There were more than fifty professions to choose from. That was a lot. She noticed professions weren’t quite as lucrative as classes though. They all gave only two attribute points and one or occasionally two skills. Of course, she had to keep in mind what the nexus thing told her.
All Professions may be upgraded at levels 30, 60, 120, 240, 480, etc.
After much deliberation Rose had narrowed down the professions to just 15 that she wanted or thought could be really useful due to the skill they came with.
* ADVISOR
* ALCHEMIST
* ARCHITECT
* BAKER
* DIPLOMAT
* FARMER
* HERBALIST
* MAID
* MERCHANT
* NOBLE
* NURSE
* SCHOLAR
* SEAMSTRESS
* STABLEHAND
* TEACHER
With reluctance she subtracted five from the list. There were only two profession slots available and she was only using the minimum eight additional slots for professions. She knew that classes would be more beneficial in the long run after all. [ARCHITECT], [FARMER], [HERBALIST], [NURSE] and [TEACHER] were cast aside.
