Rosalea is born into the middle of conflict; everyone has a plan for her, a mold they need her to fit.  Pressure builds up around her, cutting her adrift from home or connection. She learns more about herself: who she is, what matters to her most, and what power she carries. But what will be the cost of defying expectations? What happens if you decide to disappoint Gods? [[Some miscellaneous notes from the author here to you! 1. the story was a proud participant and winner of the 2022 writathon!  2. The gore is not in every chapter, and I do not focus on gore for the sake of gore. It is present, however, as a logical extension of injuries/deaths.  3. For those of you here for the LitRPG, welcome! These elements will start to become clearer allll the way in chapter 76! The world starts out without those elements present in an obvious way, and then they become added. The book continues to uncover and explore more of these elements at a very slow pace, so you can see me establish the integration of the system within the world from the very beginning.) 4. Grimdark - kinda! There are some darker elements in this story, and as I am working to put the MC in an emotional place to defy Gods, she will lose innocence and naivety. I don't want the build up to fighting Gods (or injustices) to feel simple, cheap, or impulsive. I do not glorify violence, but violence occurs in some chapters. The world has dystopian elements (though this story is not conforming to the normal dystopian genre). It will be darkest before the dawn here! Other than that!
