“Alright now that you all settled down it’s time to do the matchups.”
“There is going to be a total of two matches per person. If you manage to win all of them then you will be gifted.”
Everyone looked really intrigued except for Weng.
After a few minutes everyone had an opponent. Weng was the first one to fight, his opponent is a boy named Oscar.
He is an expert in sword combat.
“Let’s end this quickly”
The boy said. But Weng did not even bother to reply back.
Oscar lept through the stage and went towards him, but Weng side stepped and hit Oscar with his fist.
But Oscar took the punch and slashed Weng in his shoulder. He was bleeding intensily, but Weng showed no reaction, he took it like it was nothing to him.
Weng moved at a fast pace and Oscar tried to slash him again, but Weng anticipated this and hit him on the chin. Oscar fell to his knees and could not stand up as he was disoriented. So Weng took this chance and hit him in the stomach mutiple times until he finally got knocked out.
“Weng wins!!”
Said the Priest.
“Fuah…I thought I was a goner for a sec”
Weng stepped out of the stage and joined Arthur.
“Good job out there.”
They both high fived.
Arthur was looking at Weng weirdly

“What? Do I still have blood on my shoulder?”
“No..it’s not that, it’s…”
Arthur paused and then said:
“How come you did not use any magic or martial arts technique?”
“Because I don’t know them.”
Arthur was shocked when he heard him say that.
“I thought you knew since you are a bit powerful with your fists.”
“Oh this? I used to train them back in the day?”
“At a younger age?”
“Yes.”
Arthur did not pry any further then needed.

Arthur won his battle with eaze. It was Weng’s turn again, he walked to the stage and met his opponent, this time it was a girl named Ciel. She is an elf with white hair and red eyes.
“An elf…”
Weng knew this girl, she is usually really quiet, but he can tell that she means trouble.
“I won’t go easy on you.”
Said the elf girl.
Weng smirked and ran to her.
Weng tried striking his fist into her cheek, but she dodged it and ran. He ran towards her and tried to keep up with her, but she was faster then him. She stopped and was chanting something.
“In shadows dark or light's embrace, I stand unwavering, in my grace. By magic's hand, by magic's call, Grant me strength to conquer all.”
Before she could finish it Weng was already right in front of her. He put all of his strength on this single punch to knock her down, he knew it was dangerous to keep going.
But something blocked him. Some sort of wall.
“What??!”
Ciel continued.
“So mote it be, this chant I weave, Strength's magic flows, let none deceive. With every word, with every plea, Strength's magic now belongs to me."
Ciel now had more strength then before. She looked at Weng and said:
“You couldn’t even touch me.”
With that Ciel punched him as hard as she could. She thought she won, but Weng was still consious.
“What is this?”
In a single blink Ciel was already on the floor unconsious and Weng standing tall and victorious.
What had happened?
Everyone was confused as to what has happened, but one thing is true and that is that Weng won the battle.
Weng left the stage and saw Arhtur running up to him.
“What the heck was that?”
Weng was silent and kept on walking, ignoring Arthur.
“WENG!”
Arthur shouted and Weng stopped walking and looked back.
“I said what was that? What happened out there?!”
Weng stood still and then walked towards Arthur, he than whispered in his ear.
“It’s best for you to not know.”
After saying this Arthur felt that chill again. Arthur was scared, but he realized something. That chill was coming from Weng.
Weng walks off to his sleeping quaters and Arthur was standing still like he was frozen until he finally collapsed.
Arthur uttered three words.
“What are you?”
