Chill

He leaped down flawlessly like a butterfly, he was looking at Weng with a furious face like he had killed someone, but that is not the case as he was furious because of what he did.

“You talked to her.”

Weng had a confused look on his face and wondered what was he talking about.

“Excuse me?”

“You heard me, you spoke with her, nobody is allowed to do that.”

“What are you talking about?”

“I’m talking about Lily.”

Arthur started walking around him in circles looking at Weng up and down.

Weng felt a chill when he did that but decided not to show it.

“What’s wrong with me talking to the princess?”

Arthur looks at him even more furiously.

“You just can’t!”

He snapped at him, Weng was lost as to why he could not speak to the princess, was it a taboo? Can’t peasants mutter a single word in front of royalty? No, that wasn’t it, the princess was talking with the other kids, so how come Weng is the only one getting chewed?

“Who is she to you?”

Arthur turns bright red when Weng asked this, that’s when it finally hit him, most likely he has a little crush on her.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

“Sorry, forget I asked.”

Weng went around Arthur and into the hallway where the dorms rest.

“Hold up.”

Arthur grabs Weng’s arm.

“You think you can walk out on me?”

Weng was tugging his arm, but he couldn’t even budge it, at least not with this strength.

“Can you let me go?”

“What if I don’t want to?”

Arthur felt a chill down his spine and lets his arm go like something would’ve happened if he didn’t let go.

“Thank you.”

With that Weng kept on walking the long hallway until he finally reached his dorm room, but Arthur could not let this go easily.

“Don’t think I let you go because I was scared or anything.”

Arthur was a prideful young boy who was blessed with gorgeous green eyes and blond hair and for everyone everything he did was perfect, he was a prodigy, but he was scared of something.

Weng looked at him like he was crazy, but he was so tired to even think about it.

“Whatever you say, good night.”

He shut the door behind him.

----------------------------------------

“What was that chill I felt?”

Arthur could not help himself think of this as This was the first time he experienced this.

He walked until he reached his dorm, now inside Arthur pulls out an artifact from a hidden compartment below his floor.

“I hope this helps me in the future…”

A knock was heard, someone trying to get the attention of Arthur.

He quickly hides the artifact like nothing ever happened, he walks towards the door and opens it.

Nobody.

Nobody was standing before him, was he hallucinating? He decides to close the door and head to bed for the night.

----------------------------------------

“I see.”

“So Arthur is just a normal kid.”

Weng was spying on Arthur, but he couldn’t hear anything from inside his room as this orphanage does not allow eavesdrop magic.

“Maria..”

Weng was still reminiscing his sister and that strange figure, but he was mad at himself knowing that he could’ve stopped it, but was afraid because that strange figure is stronger than anything he’s seen before.

“I need to make sure that I live a normal life and to not exceed myself.”

He went to bed and sleep the whole night.

----------------------------------------

After a good night sleep Weng woke up and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and shower, after that he went outside means went to the cafeteria to eat.

Weng needs to get along with his fellow orphan’s, but he sat down on an empty desk.

A little later a blond haired boy sat in the same desk as him.

“Hey you.”
