It was an early morning, just after 1 am and it was still very dark outside, when suddenly a window that was opened up… for some weird reason, had a projectile thrown into it at high speed before exlpoding on the inside walls of the room.

It was Urahara sending a message to Ichigo that "It was time."

Shortly after a shadow came out of the front door of the house, slowly and quietly and was just about to take off when another came jumping off from the roof of the house shouting.

"GOOD… MOR… NING… ICHI… WOW!" he shouted and almost landed on Ichigo who dodged him at the last minute.

"You escaped my attack just now. No wonder you're my son…" Ichigo's father said as he raised his head from the floor, blood pouring down his forehead as he breathed heavily.

"YOU!!! What are you doing!?" Ichigo questioned angrily.

Ichigo's father had come to give him a safety charm given to him by Ichigo's mother… apparently it was supposed to bring fortune and good luck.

Ichigo flipped about why his dad was giving such a thing to him and his father shouted back, that he was not giving it to him, but lending it to him while he was gone.

"When you come back, remember to return it to me!" His father said.

"OI! WHY DON'T YOU ANSWER ME? YOU HAVE TO RETURN IT! IF YOU LOSE IT, THEN YOU HAVE TO SHAVE…! MY BEARD!!!" Ichigo's father shouted when Ichigo didn't answer.

"OH… OH… 'was that a threat?'" Ichigo answered and thought before suddenly gripping the safety charm hard.

"... Then, I'm borrowing this!" He said clearly as he turned and ran off.

He ran off towards Urahara's shop and on the way, he met Orihime. They continued running towards Urahara's shop, together while discussing somethings as they ran.

They got there a bit out of breath, but surprisingly found Chad waiting already for them to arrive. They spoke a bit about whether Ishida would come or not, until he actually showed up.

Ishida was still in the middle of his arrival "speech" when suddenly Ichigo asked,

"... Ishida… you… did you walk all the way here wearing that weird clothing? 'you're very brave.'" Ichigo asked while thinking.

"... YOU… HOW CAN YOU SAY IT'S WEIRD!?" Ishida shouted back, when they heard

"OH… You guys are here… That's great!" Urahara said as he made his sudden appearance.

Urahara then stopped and began to look around.

"Everyone is here, let's go." Ichigo said as he wondered why Urahara was still looking around when they were obviously already in front of him.

"Who said that was everyone?" a voice suddenly sounded from behind.

Ichigo, Orihime, Ishida and Chad turned around to see a long white haired young adult walking towards them wearing designer clothes with a weird lizard like animal with wings, sleeping atop his white-haired head.

It was Houryu walking towards them, wearing the clothes he first wore just after waking up. He was yawning as he walked towards them.

"Oi… Urahara, what's the deal with you sending a dying message into my house… you really want to die… that can be arranged." He said sleepily as he walked towards them before his eyes fell on the kids.

"...Is there something on my face?" he said as he looked at them.

"YOU"RE.. THAT… NIKE SWORD LONG HAIR GU.." Ichigo started before Houryu cut in while looking directly at him,

"Shut it, Carrot Top." he said sharply as he didn't want to know where that name ended.

Suddenly Orihime asked, "Who is he?"

"He… was the one who killed the giant hollow that day." Ishida answered back as he looked warily at the new arrival.

"Can we stop investigating who I am and get to what we should be actually doing… like you guys going to soul society to do some princess rescuing." Houryu said as he looked sharply at Urahara before shifting his focus of interest to Orihime as he felt something interesting from her.

"You…" Ichigo started to say before Urahra cut in,

"Come in and I'll explain to you guys… how to go to soul society."

"...Please listen carefully, otherwise… You guys might die before you arrive at soul society." Urahara said drearily.

Under Urahara's shop…

"... This… This is amazing…! I didn't know there's such a large space under-ground! This is so cool! This seems like a secret underground base!" Orihime exclaimed excitedly as she looked around.

"Really?" Ichigo asked with a dumb look on his face.

'Well, it does look like that… and it is, but what's with that overly enthusiastic behaviour about it.' Houryu thought as he looked at her being all enthusiastic.

"... You… Your reaction is so good…! I, Tessai feel so touched…!" Tessai said to Orihime holding her hand and looking very touched.

"Heh Heh Heh! It's Nothing!" Orihime answered back smilingly while putting her hand behind her.

"Okay! Everybody!" Urahara suddenly called out while clapping to draw their attention.

"Please look over here! We're about to go!" He said and then snapped his fingers.

Four openings in the void and then four pillars joined together to make a rectangular opening later…

"Come. This is the door to the soul society... SENKAIMON!" Urahara declared.

"Please listen carefully. I will now teach you the way to go through this door without dying." He continued.

Urahara firstly pushed out Ichigo's soul out from his body, shocking Ishida, Orihime and Chad as they hadn't seen it happen before.

They then bent over to look out Ichigo's now motionless body.

"Why are you guy's freely touching my body?" Ichigo asked looking at them poking his body in different places.

"THAT'S RIGHT! That body will soon be temporarily mine! You guy's should not touch it!" Kon suddenly appeared on Ichigo's shoulder.

"WUUAH!!!" Ichigo screamed in surprise.

"Ah! But Inoue-san you can touch it!" Kon ignored Ichigo's surprised scream and said to Orihime, but she and Ishida looked weirded out that a toy could talk.

Houryu watched all this from the side. 'Watching them act like idiots from this close up is actually… quite… amusing' he thought as he watched the show, almost tempted to bring out his popcorn.

Okay, look over here. I'm starting the explanation of this door!" Urahara shouted and then began explaining.

Urahara explained that the door was usually made by adding reishihenkankon to the top of the senkaimon and using ketsugoufu to cover it up, so it stays together, and the reason why this was usually done was to change kishi into reishi. That is the physical to spiritual as going into soul society required being in soul forms, which they would have difficulty moving in and also they would still be connected to their physical forms by the chain of fate.

"That's not really a problem for me." Houryu cut in as he changed his physical body into a spiritual body, making everyone stare at him like he was a ghost.

"Ahem… as not everyone is like our friend over here, let's move on to the important topic!" Urahara continued. Urahara then told them that they only had four minutes to go through the senkaimon or they'd be trapped inside it… forever.

"...Then… What should we do?" Orihime asked.

"Just walk forward." Yoruichi suddenly appeared and said.

"Didn't I tell you? The heart and soul are connected… What's important is how your heart thinks."

"Only those who can do it may follow me." Yoruichi continued.

"...What are you talking about?" Ichigo started,

"Those who chose to gather here have made the decision and are determined to follow it!" Ichigo declared loudly.

"You should know very well , kid… If you lose, then you will never return." Yoruichi asked, questioning their determination.

"Of course, we have to win!" Ichigo answered firmly.

"... Well said!" said Yoruichi, pleased at their determination.

"Not to cut into your victorious mood and all… but you do know that I'm not part of your rescue the princess squad… right?" Houryu suddenly said.
