Let the Tournament Commence

The big tournament was being held in the colosseum of Mediterra, and all the representatives of the continents had arrived with their respective teams. A big ceremony had been planned as the opening day for the tournament.

"I'm nervous, Reina," Aiko said.

Ayaka added, "Me too."

"No need to be nervous. We are representing our lands, and we are going to make our land proud. Are you with me?" Reina's words boosted everyone's energy.

The opening ceremony had started, and all the chosen teams came to the ground with huge crowds filling the colosseum. Kazuya stepped forward and addressed the people, "Dear fellow representatives, it brings me immense joy to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for graciously accepting the invitation to participate in this prestigious tournament. Through this competition, we will have the opportunity to showcase not only our individual strength and prowess but also to forge an unbreakable bond that transcends borders and boundaries.

As we embark on this 5-day journey, I extend my sincerest well wishes to each and every team that will be a part of this exhilarating event, and I hope that we all emerge as winners, not only in terms of victories but also in terms of building friendships that will stand the test of time.

With utmost enthusiasm, I welcome all of you to this magnificent tournament, organized with meticulous planning and care by the Mediterra continent. Let us cherish every moment, support each other in times of adversity and may the spirit of sportsmanship always prevail.

Here's to a thrilling and unforgettable experience for all of us! Thank you."

After that applause erupted, making the coliseum more lively, Taiga Scott stepped up to the podium and greeted the audience with a warm smile. "Good day to all the talented fighters and esteemed guests joining us today. I have the honor of serving as the announcer for this grand tournament. It is my pleasure to elucidate the rules of the competition for you all.

"As you all know, this will be a knockout match, and the stakes are high. Each team consists of six members, and each team must select three of their most capable fighters for each battle. However, there is a twist. The players selected for the first round cannot participate in the second round, making the selection of players a game of strategy and foresight.

"We have pre-assigned the team matchups and slots, and although some may have luck on their side, others may face more daunting challenges. But no matter the odds, I know that every team here is a force to be reckoned with, and I wish them all the best of luck.

Both the warriors came to the ground for the battle, and the first match of the tournament between Mediterra and Solaris commenced with a huge applause and noise from the coliseum.

Somewhere in the stands, Izanagi and The Old Man were making their way to their seats. The coliseum was packed with enthusiastic fans, all of whom wanted to get a glimpse of their favorite fighters. "Old man, fast, come here or we will lose our seats," said Izanagi.

"Izanagi, don't rush, I have pain in my back, I can't walk properly," replied The Old Man.

"Don't you want to see your daughter fight in a relaxed manner? I somehow booked the seat, but didn't know it would be this crowded. Come on, old man," said Izanagi, determined to get them to their seats in time.

Izanagi let out a sigh, "Ahh, leave it." Izanagi proceeded to carry The Old Man and took him to their seat.

"I am sorry, Izanagi, I had you carry me," said The Old Man, feeling guilty.

"Don't sweat it, Old Man," replied Izanagi, shrugging it off.

After settling down, Izanagi scanned the crowd for Mai. He finally spotted her, smiling in the stands of her team, but he could sense her nervousness. She had trained hard for this day, but she couldn't shake off the feeling of anxiety that was creeping up on her. Suddenly, a voice echoed in her mind.

"Don't fret, Mai. It's me, Izanagi."

Mai turned around, but she couldn't see Izanagi anywhere. She realized he was speaking to her telepathically.

"Izanagi, is that you?" she whispered.

"Yes, Mai. Listen to me. You're going to do great in this battle. You've trained hard for this moment, and you're going to show everyone what you're made of. Believe in yourself, Mai. You have the strength and the skill to win."

Mai took a deep breath, feeling a sense of calm wash over her. She knew that Izanagi was right. She had trained for this moment, and she was ready.

"Thank you, Izanagi," she said. "I needed to hear that."

"Anytime, Mai," he replied. "Now go out there and show them what you're made of. I'm rooting for you."

"Thank you Izanagi",replies Mai feeling more confident

"Mai, are you okay?" asked Reina, noticing the change in her demeanor.

"Yes, Reina, I am all right. I was nervous a moment ago, but now I feel refreshed. Thanks for asking," said Mai, smiling.

"Anyway, ready up. It's your match after this. I want you to win," said Reina, cheering Mai on.

"Yes, I will, Reina," said Mai, feeling ready to take on whatever challenge lay ahead.
