It was a beautiful morning and the sun was just rising over the horizon. Kazuki, Mai, and Aiko were walking together on their way to school. Aiko couldn't help but notice Mai's rosy cheeks and the sparkle in her eyes.
"Hey, Mai, you look like you're in a great mood today! Did something happen yesterday?" asked Aiko.
Mai blushed and looked away, but Kazuki nudged her playfully. "Come on, Mai, you can tell us. Did you have a good time yesterday?"
Mai's face turned even redder, but she couldn't help but smile. "I did. Izanagi and I went to the arcade, visited some manga stores, and had cake at a cute little café."
"Aww, that sounds so romantic!" gushed Aiko, causing Kazuki to roll his eyes playfully.
"You two lovebirds are too much," he teased, but the smile on his face showed he was happy for his friends.
Mai, Kazuki, and Aiko were walking to school together, enjoying the cool breeze and the sound of birds chirping. Suddenly, they saw Ayaka, Daichi, and Reina walking towards them from the opposite direction.
"Hey guys, good morning!" Ayaka greeted them with a bright smile.
"Morning!" Kazuki replied with a nod.
"Morning, Ayaka," Aiko and Mai replied in unison.
Daichi and Reina also greeted them with warm smiles.
"Hey, how was the amusement park yesterday?" asked Mai.
"Oh, it was amazing!" said Ayaka, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "We went on so many rides and played so many games. And Kazuki won me this adorable stuffed animal!" she said, holding up a plush bunny.
Aiko, who was walking beside Kazuki, giggled and nudged him playfully. "Yeah, Kazuki was really impressive," she said, shooting a flirty glance at him.
Mai couldn't help but notice Kazuki's cheeks turning slightly red at Aiko's words.
"Did you guys have fun too?" asked Ayaka, turning to Mai.
Mai smiled, thinking back to her date with Izanagi the day before. "Oh, yeah, I had a great day too," she said, blushing slightly.
"Aww, look at Mai blushing! She must have had an amazing time," teased Aiko.
Mai rolled her eyes, but couldn't help the smile that spread across her face. "It was really fun," she said. "We went to the arcade, visited a manga store, and even went to a cute little cafe where we had some delicious cakes."

Reina, who had been listening quietly, smiled at Mai. "That sounds lovely," she said. "I'm glad you had a good time."
Mai nodded, feeling grateful for her friends. As they walked towards their classroom, Mai couldn't help but feel excited for the next adventure they would all go on together.
It was lunchtime at the school, and Kazuki was walking alone to buy his lunch. As he was walking, he bumped into someone. He looked up and saw a tall, handsome boy with a confident smile on his face.
"Kazuki, isn't it?" Kazuya asked.
"Yes, that's me," Kazuki replied.
"I've heard about you from Ayaka. You're one of the strongest Human in this school, aren't you?" Kazuya said.
"I don't know about that. I just do what I can," Kazuki replied modestly.
Kazuya then leaned in closer and asked, "So, about your crest, Izanami, how is it coming along?"
"It's going okay, I guess. It's a bit overwhelming at times, but I'm slowly getting used to it."
"That's good to hear. If you ever need any help with it, don't hesitate to ask me," Kazuya said kindly.
Kazuki nodded his thanks. "I appreciate that."
"I wanted to talk to you about Ayaka," Kazuya said, interrupting Kazuki's thoughts.
"What about her?" Kazuki asked.
"I heard that she's on a team with you for the upcoming tournament. I just wanted to make sure she's in good hands," Kazuya said, his tone serious.
Kazuki was surprised by the concern in Kazuya's voice. He had never met Ayaka's brother before, but he seemed genuinely worried about her.
"I'll do my best to take care of her," Kazuki said, feeling a sense of responsibility.
"Good to hear."
Just then, Ayaka arrived at the scene and saw her brother talking with Kazuki. "Kazuya, what are you doing here?" she asked.
"I was just checking up on Kazuki's progress with his crest," Kazuya replied.
"Oh, I see. Kazuki, my brother can be a bit overbearing at times, but he means well," Ayaka said with a laugh.
Kazuya glared at her playfully. "Hey, I heard that."
Ayaka then turned to Kazuki. "Kazuki, my brother can be a bit overprotective of me, but I know you can handle it.
Kazuya smiled, satisfied. "That's settled then. I'll be going now. See you around, Kazuki."
With that, Kazuya left, leaving Ayaka and Kazuki alone.
"Sorry about my brother," Ayaka said, shaking her head.
"It's fine. He seems like a nice guy," Kazuki said, smiling.
"He can be. So, what brings you here?" Ayaka asked.
"Just grabbing some lunch. Aiko, Daichi, and Mai are already waiting for me," Kazuki replied.
"Ah, I see. Well, let's go then. I'm sure they're dying to hear about your encounter with Kazuya," Ayaka said, laughing.
Kazuki smiled and followed Ayaka towards the cafeteria, feeling grateful for having such good friends.
"I'm starving," Aiko complained as they approached.
"You guys should have bought lunch from home like I did," Mai said, holding up her bento box.
Aiko and Daichi groaned, regretting their decision to buy lunch at the cafeteria.
As they sat down to eat, Kazuki thought about Kazuya's warning to take care of Ayaka. He decided that he would do everything in his power to keep her safe during the tournament.
While They were having their lunch when suddenly Reina appeared before them. She had a serious expression on her face, which made Kazuki and the others feel uneasy.
Reina stood in front of her team, her eyes fixed on each of them. "Listen up, everyone. I have some important news to share with you all," she said, her voice firm and serious.
"What is it, Reina?" asked Aiko, her eyebrows furrowed in concern.
"There's a threat that's emerged in the outskirts of the town, and we need to go and subjugate it tonight," Reina replied, her tone leaving no room for argument.
Kazuki's eyes widened with excitement. He loved a good challenge, especially when it involved using his magical powers.
"What kind of creature is it?" Kazuki asked, his voice filled with eagerness.
"We don't know yet," Reina replied. "But we do know that it's causing chaos and destruction in the area. We need to act fast before it gets out of hand."
Kazuki nodded in agreement, determined to use his powers to help protect the town.
"Tonight?" exclaimed Mai, surprised. "But we're not prepared for this."
"Don't worry guys we will definitely defeat them", says Kazuki
"I know it's short notice, but we have to act fast," Reina said, emphasizing each word. "We're the only ones who can stop it, and we have to be ready for anything."
The team exchanged glances, but no one objected. They all knew that Reina was right. They had trained for this, and they were ready to face any challenge that came their way.
"Be ready by 10 pm tonight. We'll meet at the edge of the town, and then we'll head out," Reina said, her voice growing softer. "I know this is short notice, but we'll get through this together."
With that, the team dispersed, each one heading off to prepare for the mission. They knew that tonight would be a long and challenging night, but they were ready to face whatever came their way.
