Chapter 107: Returning to the Guanyu continent.
“Where are we headed right now?”
Wan Yi turned to Yao Jun as she asked. Since they were flying on Little Gray right now, it was obviously Yao Jun who had set their course.
“Back to the Guanyu continent, if we just fly in a straight line, it should take us around one and a half month to reach it. The Guo clan headquarter is located on the Liang continent, so we can't head there. And here on the Yang continent, there is also a large amount of Guo clan people. The Guanyu continent is the best place for us to head right now.”
While Yao Jun was answering, Guo Luo smeared in the medicinal paste on his left arm. The paste would seep into his skin and enter his body, settling around the wounded areas and slowly heal them. When he traveled to the Yang continent, he had Little Gray fly at full speed at all times. There was no need to rush like this on the return trip, so it would obviously take a bit longer to return.
The Guanyu continent had both the Guan clan as well as the Demon Race, the Guo clan would not risk offending either of these two parties just yet. This meant that heading to the Guanyu continent would give them more time to expand Titan's Gate.
“Guanyu continent? In that case, the best place for us to head is the Xian province.”
Wan Yi pondered in silence for a short while after hearing Yao Jun's answer. After a short moment of silence, she gave a small nod of her head and spoke out.
“The Xian province? Why is that the best place for us?”
Lin Ren couldn't help but ask. He had spent his entire life on the Yang continent, so he knew almost nothing about the other continents.
“The Xian province is the one furthest away from the Demon Race, so we won't have to worry about the city where we choose to build our headquarters getting attacked. The Xian province also houses the Great Xian city, one of the largest cities on the Xian continent. If the Guo clan wants to spy on the Guan clan, they will plant the spies in Great Xian city. This means that we can choose a smaller city to build our own headquarters.”
Wan Yi used to be a possible successor to the ruler of the Demon Race, amongst this group of seven people, she was the one who knew the most about the Guanyu continent.
“Since we are planning on creating an organization, we cannot overlook the fact that it will need a leader, someone to make the executive decisions.”
After figuring out where they were heading, Yang Yuhuan spoke out, sweeping everyone with her eyes. Any organization required a leader, someone that could give out the correct orders, someone that everyone trusted.
“Does it really need one? Can we not just vote on all decisions? Since there are seven of us, there will never be an even number of votes, so we can just go with the majority votes. If there is a need for it in the future, we can just choose a leader then.”
Wan Yi however, shook her head and shrugged her shoulders. As they were now, deciding on a single leader would be hard, so it was better to start out by having everyone vote on the decisions. In the future, once they had all grown a bit more, it would be easier to choose a leader.
“Of course, if there should come a time where we cannot all gather together to vote, or communicate to vote, someone will just have to make a decision on the spot.”
There would always be times where gathering or communicating would be hard. At those times, the people on site would just have to make a decision. None of the people in this group were idiots, so accidentally making a decision that ended up ruining everything was highly unlikely.
Everyone fell into a short silence after hearing Wan Yi's words, thinking in silence. After spending a few minutes thinking, everyone matched eyes and nodded their heads, indicating that they were fine with this arrangement.
“Once we reach the Xian province and have decided on a town where we can build the headquarter, I will have to leave you for a while.”
Yao Jun awkwardly scratched his head and spoke out after everyone had nodded their heads, causing everyone to look at him with some confusion.
“I am going to use the Guan clan's Spatial Array to return to the Grand Quan continent. I need to let my parents know that I am fine, it has already been a long time since I last managed to contact them.”
Yao Jun shrugged his shoulders as he saw their confusion. He had stopped being able to contact his parents not long after he met Yun Yantian, so they had not heard from him in over a month. Yao Jun did not know if the Yao Luying he met earlier managed to deliver his message to them, so he wanted to head over and see them in person.
“I am also joining him.”
Guo Luo quickly spoke up from next to Yao Jun. Since Yao Jun was returning to see his parents, she would obviously not let him go alone, especially now that his left arm was useless.
“Will you be gone long?”
Yun Yantian raised an eyebrow as he spoke. He did not know where the Grand Quan continent was or how large it was, but it was clear that it would not be a short trip. If it was, there was no way Yao Jun would not have returned earlier.
“It should be at least a few months, and that is if nothing unexpected happens.”
Yao Jun shook his head with a helpless expression. The Grand Quan continent was much larger than any of the three other continents, traversing it would take much longer. He had also seen very little of the Grand Quan continent, so he was hoping to take this chance to go sightseeing with Guo Luo.
“I see. Take these with you, we can stay in contact like this. These are simply called Message Jades and are different from normal Transmission Jades. They can send messages to any Message Jades that you have connected them with, and as long as you fill them with enough Qi, they can send an endless amount of messages. The Human and Demon Race are collaborating on creating them, so only the higher ups amongst the larger clans have access to them.”
After hearing his words, instead of Yun Yantian responding, it was Wan Yi who responded. She took out seven purple jade slips from her interspatial ring. She infused some Qi into each Jade Slip and held them together for a short moment. After doing this, she handed each person one jade slip and explained how to use them.
Hearing her explanation, the others couldn't help but let out exclamations. With these, they could stay in contact no matter how far away they were from each other. There was also no need to worry about constantly creating new ones after the old ones ran out of uses.
