Part 2
“Heh…do you think, I won’t kill them all?” The assassin asked after the room had been cleared. “I’m going to kill each child here…”
However, Inoue did not respond to the vile threats of the assassin and continued to ignore him.
“I can feel your grip weakening.” The assassin continued to casually speak. It was now only a matter of time before he escaped. “This boy isn’t going to live…”
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Inoue’s eyes flashed with hatred when she heard those words. She wanted to respond back but she didn’t dare to, lest her ‘control’ dissipated. She was already very worn out and no longer standing but rather kneeling on the ground. She had thought several times of using her ‘control’ over the assassin such that he shot himself but she didn’t dare to do so. A cornered beast will display overwhelming strength the moment before its death. If something like that happened, the assassin would break free from her control and it would be the end of them.
Inoue was covered in sweat as the seconds turned into minutes. Sado had already informed her that the cops were on their way but beyond that he couldn’t do anything else. Inoue begged him not to get other adults involved. Ordinary unarmed adults would only provide opportunities for this killer to get away. At least with the police there was a ray of hope.
‘I just have to hold on a little longer…for everyone’s sake…’
‘I just have to hold on a little longer…for the children’s sake’
‘I just have to hold on a little longer…for his sake…’
Inoue grew drowsy and she blacked out. She had finally depleted her strength and her ‘control’ ended.
