Somewhere in the dark, A Man was lying on the ground. He moved his body slightly as he came to his senses. Getting up from the ground, he rubbed his eyes to clear his vision, but when he opened his eyes, all he could see was the darkness. Thinking it was just an illusion, He rubbed his eyes again but nothing changed, it was still dark around him. He realized; he was surrounded by the darkness. As long as he could see, it was all dark. He was the only human there. He couldn’t even feel the presence of a single living being. The place was so quiet that he could listen to his heartbeat. He panicked and tried to run here and there in the hope of getting out.
To him, it felt like the entire day had passed, while in the real world, it was just an hour.
But who is “HE”??
He is the greatest Alpha of the kingdom “The Lancom Pack”, Xavier Lancom.
With each passing minute, Xavier was getting impatient, anger was evident in his eyes. He tried to let out his rage on whoever was watching him.
“Who the hell are you? What f**** do you want?” Xavier shouted in his murderous voice. If a voice can kill, then listening to this voice, a human would have been dead by now.
He can’t find a way out of there. He doesn’t have any clue, how he got there. He just mysteriously appeared here, In this darkness.
It was like his memory was erased, and he did not remember anything, all he could think of was that he was with his Beta in the woods, searching for something and after that, everything went black.
He tried everything he could to get out of there but everything went in vain.
Xavier was on the verge of burning this whole place, but nothing worked. All his powers had gone, he was not even able to shift in his wolf form. He tried to communicate with his wolf but he was not there with him, it was just a pin-drop silence, and all he could hear was the echo of his cold and ruthless voice.
“Come out and face me, you don’t know who you are messing with?”
“Come out of your hole that you are hiding in, you asshole” Xavier shouted hoping he could at least get an answer, but no one was there.
Soon a thought pass through his mind, “A..Arlan. where is he? He too was there with me.” Xavier panicked.
“Arlan. Arlan. Are you there? Arlan are you okay…?” He shouted for his beta ‘Arlan’ thinking something wrong might have happened to him. His expressions paled; worry was evident on his face. But he can’t do anything, given the situation.
He has to get out of here. The place feels eerie. It was suffocating him.
He wasn’t scared but pissed at the situation. A lot was going on in his mind, so many questions were there but none to answer them.
How would he get out of here?
What exactly was this place? Why was he here?
Who got him here and how?
And the biggest of all “HOW WILL HE GET OUT OF HERE?”
Earlier that morning............
“It’s 4 am get up fast or we will be late for a walk” shouted ARLAN (his beta) while throwing a pillow at Xavier. Only he can talk to him like this. He always irritates him.
Arlan is the beta of Xavier, with attractive looks. He is his younger brother and his uncle’s son. Arlan is more like his best friend. He was there with him since his childhood. After his mother died, Arlan was the person who was there with him.
Arlan: Can’t believe the alpha of the greatest pack of the kingdom is sleeping lazily at this time in the morning. (he mocked)

Arlan: And look at these two, these are the laziest Pixies I have ever seen or maybe heard (making a face as he was confused over his statement). Arlan shook the tiny creatures with his fingers but they were in their dreamland and were sleeping as if they were dead.
[Pixies are tiny fairies that Xavier’s Godfather gave him or should I say forced over Xavier so that he can eavesdrop in his life. Their names are Cherry 1 and 2 respectively. Cherry 1 was the White color which depicts Air and Cherry 2 was the Blue colour which depicts Water. They have pointed ears, small noses, round black eyes, two hands, and legs which are not visible because of their gowns. No one can see them until they want them to. Only a few people in the family knew about them. But do you think these small creatures can control Xavier the great alpha, definitely not].
Xavier: Let them be, if they wake up, they will stick to me like air. Let me have some time of my own. He got up and headed to the washroom.
[Xavier’s room is golden and white. The room is as big as you can think. One can play golf in there (Lol). Every corner of the room shows the indescribable wealth. There are some ornaments made of diamonds placed near his king-size bed which reflects moonlight at night so there was no need for the night bulb. There are wall-sized glasses beside his bed that lead to the balcony, leaving enough space not to make it congested. There are beautiful golden and white curtains on both sides. Inside his room he has his living area, his dining area, also there is a kitchen, as he likes to cook, and a study space where there are around 100 books on the shelf]
[His washroom was also as grand as his room. He has his pool, a bathtub, a shower area, a walk-in wardrobe, and a basin area].
Arlan: Xavi come out fast the elder must be on their way back, we should hurry.
Xavier came out naked and went to the balcony of his room ready to transform in his wolf form.
Both He and Arlan jumped off the fifth floor shifting into their wolf form in midair, landing in the garden on their four feet.
Xavier Lancom is the new alpha of the greatest pack of the kingdom. Their pack is named after their family, The Lancom Pack. Their family was reputed and the oldest family in the kingdom. It’s been 6 months since Xavier became alpha, after his father. He is doing great for the pack and fulfills all his responsibilities. All the people in the pack are happy with their new alpha.
He is the most handsome man in the entire pack. His complexion is a little bit tan but not on the darker side (you can say caramel). With a perfectly Tall height, a Well-built muscular body, beautiful facial features, and gold and black eyes.
Xavier’s wolf is also as eye-catching as he is in his human form. His wolf is the rarest kind of wolf. His body has more fur as compared to other wolfs and the color of his fur is also unique. He had gold and black fur all over his body just like zebras. The gold fur shines as bright as the sun even in the dark.
They ran in the woods at the speed of air. Arlan was behind him. Xavier was the fastest in their pack. They ran far away into the woods at the top of a mountain. Standing at the peak of mountains they both howled. The cold rays of the sun are shining on their faces.
Arlan: We missed it. Standing beside Xavier he too watched the risen sun.
They have been coming here for years watching the sun rise every morning. It just became their habit.
Xavier: that’s because you were slow. (he mocked)
Arlan: (growled) What, what did you say? It was YOU who was sleeping like a dog not me, you asshole. Arlan got pissed.
Xavier always enjoys pissing him.
Xavier: Mind your tone you are talking to the alpha. (said Xavi in his authoritative tone, pissing him even more, and started going downwards)
Arlan: Alpha my foot. (said in a low voice but enough that Xavi can listen)
Suddenly, Xavier stopped midway and looked straight into Arlan’s eyes referring to something, Arlan got what he was referring to and both ran in the same direction.
On their way back they smelled a faint trace of blood and felt the presence of some supernatural powers in the forest. They both quickly led their guards up and started searching for anyone around.
They ran deeper into the forest but there was no trace of blood has long gone, but the traces of power were still there.
Xavier was standing between the trees, and Arlan was also some feet away. Both were searching for something or someone.
The place Xavier was standing was emitting the strongest power, showing that someone from supernatural beings was there just a moment ago. But there is no one to be seen now.
Soon Xavier found himself surrounded by the black smoke, which was coming from the ground. As soon as Arlan saw this he growled and ran towards Xavi. He shifted into his human form to clear the passage. The black smoke engulfed Xavier’s body, he was now covered with smoke.
“Xavi are you alright” Arlan waved his hand to remove the black smoke while moving forward slowly.
Soon the smoke disappeared into thin air.
Arlan: Haahh! thank God you are fine, you scared me as hell. He sees Xavi standing in the exact spot as he was, in his wolf form.
Arlan: Let’s leave all this, we should head home fast. I don’t feel good here.
He shook Xavier to get his attention and suddenly he saw him going in the direction of their home.
Arlan shifted into his wolf form and ran behind Xavi.
They both reached home in some time running at their highest speed.
Reaching his balcony Arlan looked at Xavi who was still in his wolf form.
Cherry 1 & Cherry 2 are still sleeping peacefully, without a care of the world.
Arlan: What are you looking at get ready for breakfast. Elders must be waiting for us.
“Arlan, wait…” he heard Xavier talking to him through the mind link.
