Arlan shifted into his wolf form and both ran to the forest in the darkness of night.

Cherry 1 & cherry 2 were also with them.

Reaching the same spot where all this happened, both tried to find any clue, which could help them.

Xavi: Look closely there must be something around here.

Arlan: Our people have already inspected the whole area, what's the point?

Xavi: At least we can try, maybe they missed something. And we were present here, maybe we can find something that they weren't able to.

They started searching the area around, pushing the leaves from their hands and legs, since they were in their wolf form.

Arlan: Xavi you got to see this. (he called Xavi)

Arlan found blood behind the bushes which was a little far away from the spot where everything happened.

Xavi: Cherries can you help us with this? (asked Xavi thinking they could help him find the person)

Delighted, both cherries came forward.

Cherry 1 & 2: Yes, yes, yes.

They went near the spot where there was blood, soon light appeared on their tiny hands and they started to sprinkle light on the area flying in a circular motion.

Soon a small area lighted, just which had blood on it and both the cherries stopped.

Cherry 1: We didn't get to know much. There were some hindrances.

Cherry 2: Yes, we only know that it was a girl hiding in there, she ran in that direction after some time.

Xavi: What type of hindrances, you have powers, how can a mere human hide from you?

Cherry 1: We don't have any idea how's it possible. We never experienced any such thing before.

Cherry 2: Yes, all we know is, that she has long caramel hair, and she is in her teens.

Xavi listened to them carefully and went into deep thought.

Arlan: It's almost the end of our land, if she had gone this way then, she must be someone from the Red Moon Pack.

Xavi: (Growled) Or maybe she ran out of panic, just to hide from whoever it was.

Xavi: For now, we should follow her, maybe we will find her somewhere around the corner. Given that she is injured, we can find her soon and will be able to recognize her.

Arlan: Let's go then.

They head in the direction, that Cherry 2 told them.

Arlan: We are out of our land, now it's the Red Moon area. It should go smoothly since we have a stable relationship with the pack.

Xavi growled in response.

They both walked in a certain direction. Arlan was in his human form and Xavi, as usual in his wolf form.

It was almost morning. The sky was now painted orange and yellow, birds started chirping.

On their way, they found a cottage which was built far from the mainland. Outside, was a small garden with different types of flowers blooming. They were protected by the fence around the garden and the cottage.

They both reached closer and saw a girl with long caramel hair sitting beside the flower bed and sowing seeds in the empty area. Her hair was so long that they were touching the ground, under the sunlight they were sparkling, leaving the onlookers amazed.

"Now that was fast, weren't we searching for a girl with long caramel hair?" said Arlan feeling happy

Xavi growled and with conflicted emotion in his eyes he looked in the direction of the girl who was immersed in her work.

There was something with this girl that he felt different.

Cherry 1 & 2: Yes, yes, she looked exactly the same.

"Arlan go and talk to her" Xavi ordered Arlan.

"What? I am not going, what will I say to her? I don't even know her." Arlan refused

This pissed Xavi off.

"If not you, then who do you think is a better option," Xavi said stating a fact.

Arlan looked at Xavi who surely couldn't talk to her and then at Cherry 1&2, both huffed in response, getting his answer that he was the only one capable of talking to the humans in the given situation, he walked to the girl, and Xavi followed him behind.

"Excuse me!" said Arlan, sweetly

The girl turned towards him and seeing someone unknown she left her work in between and walked towards him.

She looked like a delicate young girl in her teenage years. Her features were sharp, beautiful brown eyes, long hair, a small pointed nose, thin red lips, and pink cheeks. Her body looks fragile almost like a doll made of glass, which should be taken care of like a delicate flower. She wore a brown stone-like pendant on her neck, that shone under the sunlight.

"Yes, how may I help you? Do want to buy flowers?" the girl asked in her sweet yet gentle voice.

"A...ah..., Yes flowers, we want some flowers" Arlan quickly replied taken aback by the beauty in front of him, he composed himself and remembered what he was here for.

"I mean, I want to buy some flowers" Correcting he looked at her and she smiled at him.

Behind Arlan, she saw a wolf standing just a few meters away.

"Ahhhh.... A wolf" Scared, the girl ran inside the small cottage and closed the door behind her.

"You scared her" Arlan looked in the direction of Xavi who was standing not far from him.

"Now What?" he shrugged his shoulders, completely at a loss for words.

Stop behaving like a child, how come you are my Beta? Go and talk to her. We need her here"

Xavi said irritated by the Arlan

"Fine, I'll go."

He knocked on the door of the cottage but there was no response, so he again knocked and said

"Miss. Don't be scared, he won't harm you he's with me. I promise you." Arlan tried to talk to the girl in a gentle voice

"Are you sure?" The girl asked behind the closed doors

"Yes... please come out" Arlan confirmed

The girl opened the door, peeking a little through the door, she saw the wolf stand in the same spot where he was earlier. Gathering all her strength, she stepped out one of her legs carefully while keeping her eyes on Xavi the wolf, she came out of the cottage silently, not making any voice she reached near Arlan and asked him in a very small voice.

"Is this wolf, your pet?"

Taken aback by the question of the girl Arlan was dumbstruck. He could feel the daggers Xavi might be throwing his way with his bloodshot eyes. He turned his back on Xavi, crying in his heart. Ready to die in the hand of his Alpha.

Crying he nodded to the girl, his breath stuck in his throat.

Did he just make Xavi his wolf pet????

"Ohh... He doesn't harm, does he?" she confirmed one more time before letting her guard down

Arlan just shook his head in denial, unable to speak.

Xavi who listened to all the conversation from afar and watched everything, burned with the rage. But he can't show it right now, the girl will be scared again and their purpose to talk to her about the forest will not be fulfilled.

He has to bear with it for now.

"Can see him closely? Can you hold him for me?" the girl looked in the direction of Xavi the wolf with excitement in her eyes.

'This girl really wants me dead, what wrong have done to her?' Arlan thought in his mind

"S... sure" he walks towards Xavi, who talks to him through a mind link

"Oh.. My master is back. Do you want me to bow in front of you, Master" Xavi said sarcastically

"You know I didn't mean it, she assumed it, and I also thought it would be better to play along if we want to get information from her" Arlan tried to convince him

By now the girl had reached Xavi and was looking at him with eyes full of admiration

"I had never seen a wolf this beautiful, look how his fur shines under the light. Your wolf is stunning" She kept looking at him

Xavi felt proud of her praising, and he growled.

The girl quickly ran behind Arlan, scared.

"Don't worry he is just pleased by your praising, it's his way of showing that he liked you too" Arlan tried to relax her

"Really! he liked me," the girl was delighted but soon her eyes caught the two figures, floating on either side of Xavi's head.

She squinted her eyes and soon her eyes turned big in surprise.

"What are they?" she shouted, pointing above Xavi's head.
