Chapter 4

Yeah, Huden got like a bucketload of power. And yeah, he was much stronger than before. But he was sleeping to death- literally. His eyelids would not open, he could barely feel his collapsed body that was lying on the floor, and his consciousness was slowly fading away with every drop of blood he lost. Lying in a pile of his own blood, he started to regret ever going downstairs, out of his room today. Started to regret that he had not said goodbye to those he loved. Until.. He realized that it would do no good to weep over his current situation. All he could do was get back up and fight until he couldn’t no more.

The moment he made that decision, the bracelet in question glowed with power. Scared for another thing to happen, he shook his arm vigorously, as if that would prevent it from doing anything. His actions, however, did nothing to the poor bracelet who was only trying to empower him.

It did, however, make it fall off his wrist. Panting and breathing heavily he got up from the red liquid, feeling it drip down his now blood-stained t-shirt. With the bracelet now removed from his wrist, he suddenly felt much better and was able to stand up, watching in curiosity as the pool of blood disappeared, he felt exactly the same as before. And that’s when he noticed the bear was gone. Like, gone, gone. Never existed gone gone. The cave had no trace of anyone ever being in it except him. The bed was gone. Only a handful of berries and the small berry bush remained behind.

Sighing, he realized he would have to find a home. Then he got a golden idea - he could use the cave! Happy with his new decision he glanced outside the cave and cautiously ventured outside to gather resources.

Bear - Skyscape w/ Lupum and Cervus

“Hello. We are the entities of the sky, we welcome you to our domain,” Said two twin-like… blobs? No, that wasn’t the right word. Maybe.. Outlines? Yes, outlines. One of a wolf and one of a deer. But… they were not your standard black outlines. They were each pure white, somehow not blinding, and had a pair of golden horns, while the wolf one had gold claws, the deer had glowing antlers to go with the horns. Then, he realized that they were waiting for an answer. Not wanting to disappoint the mysterious creatures, he quickly said, “Uh.. y- yeah, h- h- hello.”

Chuckling, the creatures both sat down, while the wolf nudged him. Staring at the creatures in shock, he almost walked off the cloud- wait- a cloud!!?! They were in the sky!!? He immediately froze up in terror, realizing that he had never looked away from the creatures out of fear, and had just assumed that the sky behind them was just a picture or painting.

“See, I told you it wouldn’t be ten minutes! That’s way too long! I win! Bring me those coins!” said the wolf jumping up and nudging the deer. Bear just watched in horror as he assumed that they wanted to eat him. “Humph,” said the deer, clearly displeased with the arrangement that he and the wolf had made beforehand.

Staring at them in deep fear, he whispered “Pl.. please don’t eat me…”, which caused the wolf and deer to look up at him in shock. “Goodness no, we’re not going to eat you- we simply betted on how long it would take for you to realize that you were up in the sky,” said the wolf. Sagging down in relief, Bear started breathing again.
