Chapter 10

Another test. Teacher Yamada came into class with a lot of sheets and if I look carefully, there are enough for the number of students in my class. "Pf, another test" I say to myself in thought and turn my gaze to the window.

Again I see my reflection but all that little silence has been disturbed by the teacher's voice saying hello and that we have a test.

She leaves the class catalogue on her desk and now she is handing out sheets around the classroom, I watch as she keeps handing out sheets and finally she gets to me and puts my sheet on the desk.

I look over the questions, neither easy nor hard. I take out my pen and start writing, however I hear my name to my right and looking over is a classmate who also wants me to give her the answers.

Now, I don't have a beef with anyone, but I prefer everyone to study for them and not nag me about it so I just ignore him and go about my test.

But, as this school is also known as the 'bullying problem' the bully students threaten everyone, despite the fact that they are just kittens in the yard of giant dogs.

And since I'm no exception, this guy started threatening to beat me up if I didn't give him my test answers, but since I know he beats people up for nothing anyway I just ignored him and didn't give a damn what he said.

I finally finish my test and put it on the teacher's desk. Walking back to my desk, I didn't look at the faces of my classmates but kept my head down.

Putting myself in my desk I look around, everyone has their phones under their desks and copies for the test, the problem in my class is, you can't break the bad habit they have.

I shifted my gaze to the window, the subtle silence of the classroom let me hear my own pulse, I was paying attention to the leaves on the tree, these pink leaves, they're beautiful.

- I can't wait to get home and do anything else.

I put my head down on the bench and closed my eyes enjoying the silence around me. However in about 5 minutes the pause bell rang.

Everyone was carrying their papers to the teacher's desk and after she got them all, she left the classroom without any problems.

And here, here this guy started to want to have his way with me, taking advantage of the teacher leaving.

"I promised you sucker I'd beat you up for not giving me the answers to the test" he says in a raised tone and cracks his knuckles ready to punch me in the face.

However, when he wanted to punch me I ducked and hit him in the ribs and he fell to the ground holding his ribs.

- I didn't even hit him hard.

All the classmates were looking at me and him, they started laughing, laughing at him for falling off his feet so quickly.

Even though I hit him, I reached out my hand to help him get up but he spat next to my feet, probably this means he wants to continue his unfinished fight with me.

It gets up from the ground and wants to punch me in the chest but I dodge and because it lunged at me, it ended up with its hand through the window.

His blood being all over the place along with pieces of broken glass, he screamed in pain and a few colleagues went to call the school doctor to get him out quickly.

The glass managed to cut into his flesh, so hard that the bones of his hands were visible. That's just being stupid and trying to pick a fight with someone who hasn't done anything to you.

From shock and pain he faints and falls to the floor, all his colleagues looking at him somewhat traumatised, the only one who had no reaction was me, I stood with my neutral facial expression, just watching his blood drain onto the floor.

After a few moments the school doctor appears with a small stretcher, climbing onto it he walks out of the school where there happens to be a hospital nearby.

Still everyone is shocked and the pool of blood is still present. I turn my gaze back to the broken glass, there was barely a piece of glass there.

" Violence is never the solution, generally violence is used by weak people who can't control themselves " I say in my thoughts and walk out of the classroom and the hullabaloo in the hallway was constant.

Everyone was curious and terrified of what had happened making this colleague of mine end up in the state he is in now.

In a brief moment they look at me but seem to realise that there is nothing I can do to him, the gap between me and him is huge so they just watch him being taken out of school on a stretcher.

Violence is always used to get justice but it never leads to something better but to something a hundred times worse.

I walk in the opposite direction of others, making me suspicious that I don't behave like them but in life you have to be different, everyone should have their own thoughts and emotions.

In my way comes Sakura who looks at me with a blank stare, strange to her way of being as a person.

" Um, is something wrong? " I ask her looking straight into her eyes.

" I heard on the fast forward what happened and I wanted to ask you what happened " she tells me further with her face showing that she is terrified.

- I guess she doesn't like hearing about blood.

With a neutral face I tell her " Well it was a little accident, I wasn't paying attention to see but all I saw was him with his hand through the window".

- I'm not going to tell her that guy jumped into a fight with me.

" Oh, I wonder how he happened to do something so stupid " she says managing to calm down a little.

" Mmm, it's going to get resolved anyway " I say staying with the same neutral expression on my face.

She looks down and then apologizes and walks off to her classroom. I watched her leave, not understanding why she left but honestly it's none of my business to know.

I still sat in that hullabaloo, just looking around once Sakura entered her classroom. Normally, a normal person would have been panicked, but maybe I'm not a normal person like everyone else and I don't want to be common like everyone else.
