Hello everyone, sorry for not being active. I was busy with improving my marks and practicing my animation skills. It was hard to juggle everything around. :(

But anyways I am back now and here is today's chappy for you all. Hope you enjoy! :)---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------(The council)The meeting with the other race has ended and the figure has retreated back to his office. He was curious at most who killed his suppliers. Even though his plans will set him back for years, he was still mostly curious of who managed to kill them.

Just as he was wondering, he heard a knock at the door. "You may enter." said the figure while he prepared to meet the person. A person who looked more like an animal rather than a human entered the room. The bieng looked more like a tiger and the only characteristic that made it humanoid is the fact he was standing upright and wearing a whit uniform.

"What is it that you came to meet me captain?" said the figure. The captain simply nodded and replied. "Chancellor, I have found the one responsible for killing the two villains responsible for abducting and trading body parts of other beings." The chancellor looked very pleased as his smile curved upwards and he sit upright from his chair.

"Very good captain. Please inform me of who it was that managed to slay those ungrateful vermin." The catain nodded and began reaching under his uniform and grabbed a couple of papers. As soon as he grabbed it out, the chacellor greedily grabbed the paper and began to read."

At first he was nodding while reading the report. Then he paused. For a moment, the chancellor's smile turned very sinister but he quickly hid it. "What is this? There is a low human who has insignia. I think he will be very interesting."

The captain, who was standing there patiently suddenly asked. "Sir that is not all. According to the data that we also recieved, he also has a blessing from an elder god and is also his champion." The chancellor looked at the captain in disbelief. He cursed inwardly. Messing with an elder god's champion is considered very dangerous as they usually flame down their wrath on those who aroused it.

"I want you to keep a close eye on these three for the next two month. Find out where they live, who their god is for each and everyone one of them. Also find out every information you can find about this low human." Then he dismiised the captain. The captain simply nodded and stood upright and gave an akward bow with one arm behind his back with the other arm on his chest. As he left, he closed the door behind him.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Meanwhile back at the city)Lucarius and his new friends were walking down the streets of the marketplace. There were many stalls and booth. Each were unique from each other and selling different materials. Those that were selling the same were fighting over customers and doing everything in order to attract more people.

Lucarius was fascinated by this view. As he was observing, suddenly a man bumped into him. Lucarius was not expecting someone to stumble on top him and was taken by surprise and fell. "Oh I am very sorry stranger. As you can see I am but a weak and feeble man." The stranger was wearing a tattered clock and hiding his face. The stranger lloked humans but with slitted eyes and scales on his face and hand.

Seeing as there was no point of troubling him, Lucarius smiled and helped the man up. "It's alright old man, just be careful where you are going." The man gave a simple bow before leaving. Suddenly Grayl caught the man's wrist. Before the man and Lucarius reacted, Grayl bended his arms toward the man's back. "I suggest you to give back his belonging mister." The man began to sweat and groan due to the pressure. "Belonging? What belonging?" The man protested. Seeing as how the man was not giving up, Grayl applied more pressure. The man yelped and cried "All right all right! Here take it jeez!" The man reached his pocket and pulled out a wallet that belonged to Lucarius.

Grayl let his wrist go and quickly grabbed Lucarius' wallet out of the man's hand. The man quickly escaped from Grayl's hand and cursed loudly while massaging his wrist. Before the man left, he glared at Grayl before escaping through the crowd of people. Lucarius was shocked at what happen and was left dumbfounded. Seeing Lucarius standing still staring blankly at Grayl. Grayl looked irritated and threw the wallet at Lucarius.

"Be careful whom you trust Lucarius. You should know this. Even infants know not to trust strangers." Lucarius quickly caught his wallet and placed it deeply into his pocket. In his life, he was never pick pocketed like that in his entire life. "By the way what is that thing anyway?" said Mia. She was curious what the wallet was as she have never seen such a thing. "Oh this? It's just a wallet." Lucarius began to explain how people in his world stores money into wallet while they were travelling. "So is it like a money pouch?" said Mia. "If it stores money while you go outside, yeah that's right." Lucarius replied.

Then Lucarius noticed how Grayl was not carrying his money pouch. "Um Grayl, Where is your money pouch?" At first Grayl looked confused then felt his waist for his pouch. Seeing that he cannot feel it, he suddenly looked down and found that his money was gone. "Damn that old man!" cursed Grayl, then suddenly pursued after the pickpocketer. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(A back alley in the market place)There was a man scrawling through the back alley. He looked impatient as if he was waiting for someone. Suddenly a figure with a hood on his head appeared. The old man let out a cry of joy and hurried towards the man. Are you here to buy the usual daily supplies?" questioned the figure. "Oh course, of course. Now hand it over to me I brought the money." Said the old man while pulling out the pouch. The figure grabbed the pouch and peered inside the bag. After confirming the content he grabbed a bottle with a strange bubbling liquid in it.

The old man greedily grabbed the bottle. Before the man dank the vial, something flew towards the old man and shattered the vial. The old man screamed and the figure faced the people that were approaching them.

"Give back my money old man!" Shouted Grayl. Behind Grayl, Lucarius was following him. The figure cursed and glared the old man. "I thought you were not being followed." said the figure. The old man paled and got down on his knees and began begging. "Please dear sir. I did not know I was being tailed. I made sure not to be followed and made sure to lose them through the crowd." Before Lucarius and Grayl can do everything, The figure shook his head. Then he plunged his hands into the man's chest and pulled out his heart. The man, Lucarius, and Grayl was shocked as they have witnessed a murder. The man only let out a small voice "why..." and slumped forward.

Before Both of them can react the figure dashed towards the opposite ends of the alley. Grayl quickly snapped back to reality and cried "After him!" and gave pursuit. As they were chasing him, Lucarius gave one look towards the old man before giving pursuit.

The figure quickly escaped from the back alley and tried to dashed through the crowd trying to lose them both. Both of them were dismayed at how the figure was quickly moving through the crowd. As they were chasing, the figure pushed people and obstacles towards Lucarius and Grayl hoping to slow them down. It was difficult for them both as they tried to push through. Later on they managed to finnaly corner the figure into a dead end. The figure slowly faced his pursuers. Grayl lifted his arms tiredly "Ok now, hand over the money. It is all over now." panted Grayl. The figure simply only gave them a blood curdling smile "No you simple pest. I believe it is better to leave me be or you will simply regret your decision." Then the figure raised his hood and revealed his face.

Grayl suddenly paled as soon as he looked at the figure realizing what it was. "Lucarius I think we should run." The figure had a pale face and was completely bald. it looked human except for the fact it had a big mouth with long razor sharp teeth. The figure gave a hiss before pouncing towards them. They both yelped and moved away from his trajectory line as the figure zoomed past them. "Lucarius that's a ghoul! Whatever you do do not get close withing two meters!" cried Grayl as he dodged another attack. Where Grayl used to be, the crates behind him were simply cut open.

Lucarius quickly took this new information and tried to come up with a plan to counter this being. However before anyone reacted, a flaming ball flew past Lucarius and struck the ghouls chest. The ghoul let out a shriek as his cloth burned up, exposing his naked body. it hissed and faced at the one responsible. There stood Mia with her hand facing towards the ghoul. She let out a sigh. "Brother you are simply clumsy sometimes. How can you chase down someone into a corner where no one is around and underestimate someone." Grayl simply looked down dejected. It was foolish to chase someone and expect the opponent to be weak without knowing their background. One simple move in the Abyss.

The ghoul hissed and spat towards Mia. "Foolish Demi-human, I will eat your heart in payment." Mia didnt say anything and prepared another fireball. Seeing that the ghoul was simply outnumbered, he quickly dashed towards the wall. Before anyone can stop him, he leaped and quickly climb with his sharp claws.

"Your not escaping." said Mia and launched another fireball at his direction. The ghoul dodged the fireball by jumping towards the other wall. Then it quickly went over and disappeared. Mia gave a disappointed look as she slowly lowered her hands. Then she quickly went over to her brother and Lucarius.

"You surely took your time Mia." growled Grayl. "Do not blame me for being late. Who was the one who got pick pocketed?" Grayl tried to protest to his sister. "But Lucarius also got his money stolen." Mia simply said "Lucarius is new. You are not and your the one to be careful. That is quite ironic if you ask me." Grayl only gave a dejected look. Lucarius was shocked at how dangerous the situation really was and how close he was to death if the ghoul went really serious.

While he was thinking about how close he was to death, he suddenly got distracted by something that was shining underneath the tattered clock that belonged to the ghoul. He approached it and found the pouch underneath. "Well at least he was foolish enough to leave his belongings." Lucarius quickly passed the money to Mia who gladly accepted it while giving a look of disappointment towards Grayl. Then Lucarius found a shiny object that was beside the money. He grabbed it and examined the small item. It was a ring. The ring gave a weird luster and had weird engraving on it.

"Looks like that ghoul left behind some valuable stuff I think." He said while handing the ring to Grayl. When Grayl recognized the ring his jaws dropped. He let out a victorious laugh. Mia and Lucarius looked at him as if he has gone mad. When Grayl saw how confused Mia looked, he passed the ring to her. Mia's jaw also dropped as soon as she seen the ring.

"Hey what is going on, you two are not going mad are you?" Lucarius asked. Mia blushed and coughed and began her explanation. "Look Lucarius. This ring is not just a normal ring." "Yeah like I couldn't see that" interrupted Lucarius while giving a sarcastic tone. Mia resumed. "It's an inter spatial ring." Lucarius not knowing what that means cocked his head. "You see, unlike us mid class and low class, rich people usually buy these special rings to hold their belongings while traveling." Lucarius still not understanding looked at her strangely. "So how does that ring actually help carry their belongings?" Mia continued. "Since rich people hate to carry all their stuff an enchanter came up with an idea to create a pocket dimension in order to store objects in that dimension while traveling. This way they can bring anything to everywhere. Here I wil show you."

Mia grabbed Grayl's coin pouch and tsuddenly tossed in the air. But instead of falling down to earth, the money simply disapeared into thin air. Lucarius was shocked. "See isn't this cool?" cried Mia with joy. Lucarius was astounded by this ring. "So how did this ghoul have this ring. Mia simply pondered "If I have to guess, this ghoul either stole it or was gifted form someone. You see, interspatial rings cost a fortune and even the lesser kind like this one can still hold the size of a large bag pack." Grayl suddenly interrupted. "Mia can you open what is in that ring? I wonder what he left behind since it looked quite valuable." Mia complied and poured all the contents onto the floor in front of her.

However when she pulled it out, everyone was surprised what came out. Many vials poured out onto the floor along with big heaps of coins. Mia picked up a random vial and peered into it. Then she became shocked.
