Ok so yesterday was my birthday and I decide to celebrate by myself. So yeah anyways here is my chapter and hope you all enjoy it!

The city itself reminded Lucarius of Rome meets modern city. It had buildings that reached through the sky, just like modern buildings however the details that were etched into the buildings were clearly Roman like arts.

'I wonder how many people would die to see this sight. It is just to good.' thought Lucarius as he absorbed the sight. At this situation he wanted to bring a camera and take pictures. After a long walk inside the city, the trio arrived at a building that loomed over most buildings. There were many people walking out of the people. When they entered inside the building, there was a big line that stretched all the way to the office desk. Lucarius can guess that there were at least 700 people waiting. Although there were many people who weren't humans, Lucarius did spot humans inside the line, which brought relief to Lucarius. Before he came here, he thought there weren't many humans.

While Lucarius was wondering why the line was so log, suddenly Grayl speaks up "If you are wondering what this line is here for, Most of the people here are either getting permit or certain license, getting citizenship or documents, or turning in bounties or offers that other people request. Usually the lines are longer than this, sometimes it could take days till they get to the front office." Lucarius wondered how exactly long the line was if it took days.After many boring hours later it was finally their turn. Lucarius have never seen a line that could take many hours till they get to the front desk. There was a small person sitting on the desk. The lady was wearing a suit that reminded Lucarius of a flight attendant. Most of the feature looked human like blond hair and thin curvy body, however Lucarius knew she wasn't human after seeing that the lady had a glowing skin with a butterfly wings three times the size of the body. Not to mention that the lady reached about the hip length compared to Lucarius which made her extremely .

Lucarius was amazed by this sight and wanted to ask what race she belonged to. However Grayl spoke up before Lucarius. "I'm here to turn in a bounty and get a citizenship for a person." The lady look up from her desk. As soon as she recognized Grayl's face, she let playful squeal and showed her beautiful smile."Grayl! it has been so long love! How are you sweaty? How is your adorable sister doing! Also who is that cute boy right beside you? Are you guys together?"Lucarius was not prepared for the sudden outburst, however Grayl quickly shushed the small lady." Its good to see you to Trixana. Before You ask anymore, here is my bounty." said Grayl as he handed a small pouch gingerly into the lady's hand. The lady,Trixana, opened the pouch and found two right ears and two pairs of long front teeth. She quickly brought something out from under her desk.

The object was triangular board with a crystal ball in each corner. It had strange inscription engraved to the side of the board. In the middle of the hole, there was a hole and on the edge also were inscriptions. Trixana put the content of the pouch into the the middle of the board. Suddenly she whispered strange language and the bard began to glow. The crystal ball suddenly turned green and then a portrait was shown inside the crystal balls.The portrait were the ratmans that attacked Lucarius. He recognized the detail on their face. The lady was shocked and stared at. "You killed the Scrooge brothers? How? When? Where? When?" Grayl just let out a weary smile. "It was hard tracking them down. It took us many weeks to find them since they always seem to hide their scents and trails. It wasn't until we reached the elitri forest did we find out that their lair was inside a cave."

Trixana nodded her head. She was clearly impressed that they managed to take town a notorious criminal. She grabbed a pouch inside the desk and wrote a number. Then suddenly, the pouch began to fill up. Trixana quickly handed the pouch to Grayl who nodded in approval before accepting the pouch.Then suddenly Grayl turned serious and shoved Lucarius to the front. "We also found him inside the lair. Unlike the usual behavior of killing victims and dragging away their bodies and take out whatever they find valuable, this time they kept him alive. Mia rescued him in time. I want to know why they kept him alive, so can you do me a favor and can you find out who he is for me?"

Trixana pondered for a moment then called out to someone to take her spot. Then from afar, another person took her spot and a door opened from the side from the side of the desk. Grayl entered, then Mia,and Lucarius, who is oblivious to what is happening, followed in. They followed Trixana down to a corridor and into a room. The room had strange circles like the one witches from his world use. inside the middle of the circle, there was a hole. "Please enter the circle" said Trixana. Although Lucarius felt skeptical, he complied. As he entered the circle, she suddenly handed him a basket. "Inside the basket was a ceremonial knife. "Please put all of you clothes into the basket and then proceed on by cutting a small portion of your wrist so that your blood may flow out. After that pour your blood into the center hole of the circle."

Lucarius looked at her hoping that she was joking. fifteen seconds later he knew they weren't. "Are you serious? Why the hell do I have to cut myself. I'm not damn masochist or emo." Grayl rolled his eyes while Mia giggled."You have to pour your blood into the hole so that we can identify your blood and your power and strength. It is very important since The Abyss has to register you into the system." Lucarius stared at her for a moment then let out a sigh. He placed the blade directly to his arms. When he was about to cut himself, he hesitated. He surely did not want to cut himself.

He continued this cycle of hesitating and about to cut himself. On the fifteen times, Suddenly Grayl suddenly dashed to Lucarius and clawed his arm. Lucarius howled out in pain and surprise. Then he glared at Grayl while Grayl returned beside Trixana and Mia, not looking back.The blood flowed out of Lucarius and Lucarius quickly poured some of his blood into the hole. As soon as the blood entered the hole, the circle began to light up in bright red. If one did not know what was going on, someone would have thought this could have been a sinister ritual. Then from Lucarius, a light came out from his chest. The light formed a panel that quickly grew until it was big enough for everyone to see. On the panel it showed a portrait of Lucarius with letters that began to slowly form.

Beside Lucarius's portrait showed a list of things.

Everyone in the room suddenly went dead quiet. for three minutes no one let out a single sound. Unaware of the situation, Lucarius looked at them nervously, before speaking up "Um guys? Is everything alright? Why are you all quiet and what is this panel?"Grayl looked at him in shock before speaking up. "You idiot can you not see or is you eyes covered in mud? You are chosen by an elder god." Grayl sighed while massaging his temple. "Not only are you a champion of an elder god but also a harbinger with a insignia blessing inside your eyes." Beside Grayl, Trixana looked as if she was having a mental breakdown. "An elder god's champion, and elder god's champion, an elder god's champion...." Then suddenly Trixana's eyes rolled up and suddenly collapsed. "Wait Trixana don't collapse right there! Ah you are on top of Lucarius' blood. Hold it in!" screamed Mia

Trixana finally woke up. After finally being reassured that she was alright, Mia decided to explain to the oblivious Lucarius. "Look Lucarius. five thousand years ago, the elder gods decided that the elder god should stop anointing champions since most elder god's champion were too powerful for anyone to control. They have extraordinary amount of power. Meanwhile you are here, you who is and elder god's champion, who is also blessed with a insignia is very rare." Mia looked into Lucarius' eyes seriously.

Lucarius realized how dangerous he really was. "But I am powerless. You seen me fighting against the scrooge brothers, I couldn't fight back!" Lucarius protested. Mia nodded. "It is because you are a low human." replied Grayl. Lucarius did not know what a low human was and questioned Grayl what that means. Before Grayl answered Trixana quickly interrupted Lucarius. "Wait you don't even know what race you belong to?" "Hey I know what a human is I just don't get the word 'Low' attached to it." defended Lucarius.

Trixana let out a sigh before answering. "Every races are divided among-st themselves. For example, Beastials and Dem-humans are divided by each animals, like cat, dog, birds, and so on. For humans, it goes like high humans, Red guards, Martarius humans, demarus humans, and lastly low humans." She continued, "Low humans are called low humans because they are practically defenseless. Thy have no mana and can barely wield any other energy. Although most cannot wield there wer couple of people among low humans that became really strong in the great past. Some people like Merlin, Arthur, and so on."

Lucarius looked at Trixana strangely. "Wait did you say Arthur and Merlin? Like Arthur Pendragon?" Trixana rolled her eyes. Well of course Arthur Pendragon. Who else will I be talking to?" Lucarius looked at her strangely. Grayl suddenly broke the atmosphere "Well now we know why the Scrooge brothers kept you alive. It all makes sense." He suddenly got up. "Thank you Trixana for your time, here is your compensation." Grayl tossed her a gold coin. Trixana just smiled at him while grabbing the coin out of the air. While leaving, Trixana called out "Come visit me again! Next time bring Lucarius with you!" she said while waving at them while they close the door behind them.
