“Another foolish Hero party comes here?” I exclaimed in surprise. If my memory was reliable, the last time a Hero party came to this place was around six months ago. The previous batches, however, usually came every two or three years. So, it was understandable that I was surprised since this batch was quite quick.
In front of me, a blue Slime jumped up and down as if nodding to my question. I could only sigh as I looked at the sky… which I couldn’t see. I was underground after all, so I couldn’t see the sky at all. It wasn’t a problem for me, however, since I liked indoor more than outdoor.
“So, where are they? How many members do they have?” I asked the blue Slime. It jumped and down twice and its blue gelid semi-transparent body showed me a vision, just like a crystal ball. Or a CCTV.
It showed a party consisted of five adventurers with a balanced combination. There was a handsome blonde warrior with blue eyes as the tank, a beautiful mature woman with huge assets as the Mage, a lean and petite and small girl as the Thief, a beautiful young man with long hair and slim body as the archer and the last was a young girl with a white robe as the Healer. Even though I rarely played an RPG game in the past, I knew for sure it was the typical balanced party for raiding a Dungeon. And the Dungeon they were raiding today was my Dungeon.
My name is Fey, and like I said previously, I was the owner of this Dungeon. Actually, I was forced to be the master of this Dungeon. I came from Earth, however, right now, I wasn’t on Earth at all. It was a fantasy world.
Naturally, the reason why I was here was not because of a certain main protagonist-killer truck or a God mistake. In fact, I was sure that I didn’t die at all while I lived on Earth. So, I wasn’t reincarnated into this fantasy world, like what most novels said. Until now, I still didn’t know why I was here though. Well, since I didn’t know the reason, it would be troublesome to analyze it without sufficient clues, so I stopped thinking about it at all.
It was more important to think about how to live, or so I thought when I noticed I was in another world. However, unlike typical reincarnation, I actually had memories of living in this world. Or perhaps, it would be more accurate to say that I had the memories of this body I possessed. Or only a part of the memories, as I didn't know any personal memories of this body. So, I knew the basic common sense of this world, which overturned all common sense I had while living on Earth.
Magic and Monsters were real in this world. And Demon Lords were real too. It was unthinkable while I was still on Earth. After all, who would think that a single person or monster could destroy an entire nation? That was how powerful a Demon Lord was.
As for the exact opposite of Demon Lords who would destroy nations after nations were called Heroes. Although they didn’t have abilities like Superheroes on Earth, er, I meant, on fictional stories on Earth, the Heroes in this world could be considered as a super-entity too. After all, a single wave of his sword could send a shockwave that destroyed a mountain, how could such a person exist on Earth?
It was truly a dangerous world. Honestly, after seeing the memories of this world, I was scared and decided not to come out at all. It was possible that I would die if I came out carelessly, right? Moreover, I was already deep in a cave system they called a Dungeon and I was already the master of this Dungeon, so, why would I come out? It felt like living in heaven after all!
Moreover, I had countless subordinates, well, all of them were Slimes of various colors, but they were extremely cute so my life was not boring at all even though I always stayed in this Dungeon. I thought I could live peacefully here until the day I could rest in peace, though it seemed that was not possible. For a reason unknown to me, I didn’t die nor age at all even though countless years had passed. Moreover, people found out about my Dungeon, and gradually, they started invading my home over and over again. I didn’t even remember how many batches of them had invaded my home.
It was really troublesome, having those people, typically the idiot Hero type with his head filled with rainbow and flowers, coming to me. They were not strong, but in a fight, they would annoy me because they always tried to convince me to change my evil way. Seriously, I was living in my Dungeon without stepping out even once in years, yet they said I lived an evil way? Becoming a shut-in was evil?
Since I didn’t like every Hero saying that I was evil even though I didn’t do anything evil at all, I remodeled my Dungeon so the Heroes wouldn’t be able to reach me. If I didn’t hear them preaching about justice and evil, I wouldn’t be annoyed by them. So, my Dungeon was filled with traps so they wouldn’t be able to reach me.
However, since I was actually a transmigrator, I was still bound by the rules of the peaceful Earth. No, not Earth, but my country. It was quite a peaceful country, so killing people was really, well, disturbing for me. So, my traps were not deadly at all. For example, there was a pitfall that brought you to the lower level of the Dungeon filled with a disgusting and smelly liquid that made everyone retch. Or my favorite was the maze, especially the mirror maze since watching them walked to a mirror was really funny. Also, I loved using puzzles, so on every floor, I used puzzles to stop the Heroes.

In the beginning, my traps and puzzles were enough to stop them when they reached the third floor. However, lately, they seemed to learn as they went further and further to the thirties-something floor before they were stopped. I believed in another decade or so, they would reach my place again, so I had to remodel my Dungeon and set up new traps and puzzles again in a decade.
By the way, my Dungeon had a hundred floors. I wanted to create more floors; however, it seemed a hundred floors was the limit of a Dungeon. I couldn’t create more floors.
Anyway, back to the Heroes. At the moment, they were stopped in a huge hall with ten doors in front of them. There were numbers on the doors and on top of the ten doors, a warning was written there.
For idiot, choose the lowest number. For a genius, choose the highest number. One person for one door.
Simple, right?
I didn’t like using poems or something like that for my puzzles. The more I used poems, the more I realized that I didn’t have high literary talent…
“Oh, so number ten is for the genius, right? I should choose this one then.” A certain Hero with blond hair and blue eyes said without thinking at all.
“Don’t you think it’s a trap?” The female thief asked cautiously. It was in their nature to be suspicious of everything.
“Don’t worry, according to my understanding of this Dungeon Master, even though they like using traps, they never lie.” The mature Mage said assuredly.
The little healer didn’t say anything, just listening to her senior attentively. After a quick discussion, it was decided the Hero would go to room number ten, the Mage would choose the room number eight, the healer would choose the room number five, the Thief chose the room number four and the Archer would choose the room number six. It was not because the Thief was the most idiot in the party, but rather, she was the most cautious in the party and thought that the middle rooms should be the safest. So, she gave the youngest in the party, the little healer that room, while she chose the adjacent room.
So, without hesitation, they entered those rooms. After entering each room, the door behind them were locked and then…
…
“FEY!!! YOU DID IT AGAIN!!!” A loud voice boomed angrily. I nonchalantly sat on the chair with my legs crossed while swirling a glass of water in my hand. Yep, it was only a glass of water, not alcohol. The reason was I hated alcohol.
Anyway, I didn’t react much to that voice except thinking that the most troublesome person had come to my house. As for preventing them from coming to my house, it was impossible. Why?
How could a mere Dungeon Master like me prevent a Goddess like her? She immediately teleported to me so my Dungeon was useless to prevent her from coming here. Fortunately, she never tried to kill me, or else, I would be dead a hundred times already.
“My dear Goddess, what did I do this time?” I asked innocently. I was truly innocent, as I never did anything evil in all my life in this world.
“Look at what you did to my Champion!” The Goddess was a mature beauty with round eyes and a naturally beautiful face. Her hair was golden and her eyes were blue. Well, although her title was a Goddess, actually, she was just one of the most powerful existence in this world, not actually a Goddess that created the world. However, since the mortal worshipped her, she became a Goddess… only her title though. However, she was truly eternal, so it shouldn’t be wrong to call her a Goddess too.
Alright, now, let’s see at her Champion. Champion was the Hero… no, well, Champion was the seed of a Hero. There were several Champions that were chosen by the Gods and Goddesses, and they were given a fragment of the Gods’ and Goddesses’ power. Only after they did Heroic deed would they become a Hero.
As for the blue eyes blond hair man that trespassed my home, he was actually a Hero as he did a Heroic deed of slaying an evil Dragon. However, the Goddess in front of me tended to forget about this different terminology and still called him her Champion.
So, her Champion was running and shouting crazily as if he had gone mad. Well, looking at his eyes, he was truly going mad, I was sure about it. No wonder the Goddess became extremely angry. He was already the fifty-third Champion that gone mad because of my Dungeon…
“…isn’t it his fault for choosing the genius level while he was actually an idiot?” I replied calmly as it was truly not my fault. The Goddess opened her mouth, but before she could answer, another entity teleported right into my room. Seriously, I really lacked privacy in this world.
It was the little brother of the golden-haired Goddess in front of me. He had gold hair, blue eyes, beautiful face… well, around ninety-nine percent of his features were similar to the Goddess. After all, they were actually twins!
The God tried to calm her sister down. Well, I said he tried to calm his sister down, but he didn’t say anything at all. It wasn’t that he was mute, but I heard that he never spoke when there were other people other than his sister. It seemed he thought that his voice was only for his sister to hear, so I never actually heard his voice even though it was hundreds of times seeing him. It was really a normal thing for them to do this to me. Every time they came, they would do this exact thing. I wondered when they would be bored by this kind of visit…
Anyway, I could guess what he wanted to say. Perhaps he was saying something like this, ‘Sis, you shouldn’t choose your Champion only from their appearances, you should choose the clever one too!’
“Yep, don’t choose them based on their appearances alone,” I added with a smile, however, what I received was the glares from both of the twin God and Goddess. Their glare was kind of scary, so I shut my mouth immediately without saying anything at all.
“Appearances are the most important things, as for the others, they are optional. Or are you going to say that you want to have a genius yet ugly Goblin as your boyfriend?” The Goddess said with a voice filled with her conviction.
“…” I… couldn’t retort to that at all! The appearance was really important after all!
Just as I planned to watch them talking more, sudden irresistible drowsiness attacked me. I didn’t know why but I… couldn’t… open my… eye….s….
