"Anna!" Zach shouted, running towards me, so did everyone else. Malphas looked at me with confusion.
So much pain. Red blood hit the floor. I felt myself fading in and out. I was going to die.
"From light, comes darkness," I said, spitting out blood. "And from darkness, light!" I looked up, everything turned white.
I couldn't see, nobody could. I heard Malphas charge. I heard Zach scream. I heard Julie shout his name. I heard armor scrambling. I just saw light, white light.
I blinked and everything faded in. A new sword was in my hand, and I was standing in front of Malphas. The sword was white, a pure white. A powerful white.
"I give this to you Malphas. Take this sword that burns hot with the purest of energy. Take my heart, my soul, and all of my sorrow!"
The sword exploded with an entire beam of light that hit malphas, he retaliated with his own beam of black energy.
"You fool you think that's enough to defeat me!"
I was pushed back. It had to be enough. I had nothing else, this spell, It would take away all my magic, and I knew that.
"I'm here," Zach stood up, lending his energy. The beam exploded further, sending Malphas back a bit.
Alec joined us. So did Eric, and Julie. Kane as well.
"Stop!" I shouted, "You will all lose your magic forever!"
"As long as you're here fighting with us, that's all that matters." Zach said.
"What about Arin?!" Alec asked. "He died for you, so fight for him!"
I gasped, and the beam moved even further, sending Malphas back into the cliff side.
"You think this is it!" He shouted. "I'm going to-"
I turned around, seeing Arin standing behind me in his armor. He was a ghost. Behind him, were all the ghosts of everyone I met here, including Jake. Just like before. They were all helping me again.
"This is it!" we all shouted. "Time to go home!"
The beam of energy erased Malphas from existence, killing him instantly. He screamed as the magic tore him apart, and then there was nothing. The energy stopped, and then. Silence.
I fell back on my back, feeling the life drain out of me. I was breathing heavily.
"Thank you!" Zach said.
"Thank you! Thank you! Anna you did it!" Everyone was talking I dcouldn't see anything.
Too many voices, it was too loud. I was fading out. I was seeing black. I was nothing. I opened my eyes, seeing sillouettes of everyone in front of me. Alec, Eric, Zach. I couldn't make them out anymore.
"Thank you,"
I heard Arin's voice distinctly. Then, everything faded out until all I could see was white.
After a moment, I was conscious again. I blinked open my eyes. Nothing. I tried to move my arms. Nothing.
"Am I dead?" I said out loud. It was dark. I was able to move after a moment, and put my hand in front of my face, it was like I was in such little light my skin looked blue.
"I think I died." I said to myself again, moving my hand. I inspected myself noticing that I had all the same clothes and wounds on my body as I did earlier. I was not in a room, I was... in the sky. As my vision faded in more I noticed stars all around me in the distance. Like a night sky.

"Where-"
"Hiya!"
I jumped, turning around quickly to a man dressed in white. He had white hair and a beard, his voice was high pitched and friendly.
"Who are-" I stopped. "Who are you?" He didn't look like a threat so I didn't react.
"Uh, hm, well..." He paused. "I guess you can say I'm god,"
"God?!" Right," I laughed.
He waved his hand, and suddenly we flew through the universe quickly. The background stars faded away at lightspeed and suddenly I was in front of a bright blue planet. The earth.
"O-okay, maybe you are-"
"Look, I just wanna chat, you put on quite the show."
"Wait, you put me down in Tracia?!" Anna shouted.
"Yes well I had to because you know, dying."
"Right,"
"Surprisingly you didn't get angry just then. Beforehand you would have."
"So?"
"Anna," He said. "Can I ask you something?"
"You're god, can't you force me to say yes?"
"Please, call me Ferris."
"Okay... Ferris."
"Well I'm not sure if I like that name. I've gone by many names before. Chuck was one I specifically enjoyed for a time." He laughed.
"So what do I call you..."
"Ferris is fine for now."
"Okay.." I felt so awkward.. I didn't know what to say, but I could see my planet, Earth, down there. It was definitely earth. Like all the pictures.
"Anywho, my question. What did you think?"
"What did I think?"
"Yeah! Of the world, you know, the setting I sent you too. Would you rather of just died?"
"I uh..." I paused, what the hell was this guy on? "No, I'm glad I got a second chance and- ... Wait, what about Jake?"
"Oh! You weren't told, Jake is fine. That guy wasn't jake at all. I just gave him the memories of Jake because I thought it'd be cool."
"Wait... you... you set it up so I would have to kill my best friend?! Or think I did?! What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
"HEY! I gave you a second chance, least you could do is give me a good story."
"What-"
"So, here's the deal. You can either go back to your shitty earth life, OR!"
"Or..?"
"Another adventure! What do you say Anna, like I said you were my favorite! Killing everything! Man and the abyss magic, so cool!" He smiled brightly, as if he was a kid on christmas. Man this guy was weird.
"I get to pick?" I asked, not sure if I can trust this guy.
"Yes of course! I let everyone pick. Gideon was the last one to come through here, and he chose another adventure! I can send you there too you know. That plot is going to be crazy." Ferris got right in my face, and I backed up.
"What about Zach? Stephanie? The others?"
"Oh well they all got to pick too."
"And they chose...?"
"Oh oh Anna girl, that is not my question to answer! I've gotta say, you were definitely a fun one. If I send you to the next life, I'll give you an incredible power! No elemental magic though, since that's pretty dangerous.."
I obviously wanted to go home, but the more I thought about it, the more alive I felt living in Tracia.
"What happens if I die in that world? And don't complete the task?"
"Oh, then you die, afterlife it is!"
"And what happens if I die on earth again?"
"Afterlife!"
Curiousity killed me.
"What is the... other world I could go to?"
"It's classified! But there are my angels, my demons, and much much more there. You can even pick your magic! Light magic or shadow magic oooo spooky!" Ferris said, his hands lit up with darkness and light magic.
"Who will I meet there..?" I asked, trying to get him to spill on where Zach or Stephanie went. If Stephanie even managed to make it at all...
"Well, there are a few guys there you could meet eventually, they aren't born yet but I'll send you in when they are. Everett is a great swordsman, he's currently trying to clear his name from a crime he didn't commit. Cyrus is another guy, that's his partner, they're not dating, of course, but like partner in fighting demons!" Ferris said, pulling out a sword from nowhere and swinging it around.
"And Arin?"
"Oh he's in your necklace silly."
"What?"
"He'll come back, and you'll know, because your necklace will glow."
Arin will be with me wherever I go? That's... heartwarming.
"So, these two Everett and Cyrus... Are they from earth?"
"Nope! The only person from earth in that other world was someone named Gideon. Since everyone has gone back to earth-" He stopped ."Oops, too much info,"
"What'll it be love?"
"I wanna go back home. To see my mom, and ... if what you said about Jake is true. I wanna see him too."
"What if I spice up the deal a bit? Make you a billionaire if you make it back to earth the second time! Whatever you want! Any dream you can think of I'll make it reality!"
"No..." I said sternly. "Send me home."
Ferris sighed and dropped down to the floor until he was just a puddle. This startled me and I backed up. Then he reappeared into a man.
"Fine, you can go home. But hey, just remember, you were my favorite. So, I'll keep the offer open." He said. "Oh and by the way, here's a little reward for completing the task at least! You were an awesome fighter! Bye bye!"
"Reward? Offer open, what do you-"
Ferris snapped his fingers, and in a moment, I was in the middle of the train station. I appeared there out of thin air. Nobody else was around. I could see the sunlight barely cracking in through the surface. It was dawn. Birds were chirping. I heard a train in the distance. I was alive.
