Hammy and I have been doing our daily chores and working on the farm for some days now. Me and Jammy have been hearing rumors that the meteor has turned into a monster of some kind and that people should stay away for some time. Jammy like she always does, doesn't want to follow the rules and instead follows her curiosity. Doesn't she know curiosity killed the cat? anyway, she had been begging me to come along with her and wanted to see whether the rumors were true or not. I have been having a bad feeling about this but go along anyway.

We head into the forest and see that the area around the crash site has been burned to a crisp, nothing but ash until the tree line. Jammy guessed that what had happened was that whatever the thing was had been beaten by fire by a mage or something. We noticed that there was a trail of some kind heading in a direction further into the forest and of course, Jammy wanted to go check it out. Jammy ran ahead while I took my time looking around I the beast may still be around. We followed the trail for a few minutes and started hearing something in the bushes nearby, Jammy said it was probably just a rabbit or something. I had seen something hiding in the bush that looked dark and wasn't able to see what it was because it ran as soon as I have gotten near. Jammy continued and I started to get scared that something was watching us.

The Bipeds Seem To Be Following The Trail That The Hive Carrier Had Left Behind. For The Future Of The Hive, We Should Make The Hive Carriers More Stealthy And Have It Not Leave A Trail In The Future.

As Me And Jammy were walking down the trail we have still been following we have been jumped and surrounded by small bunny-sized Spiders. There were many of them and even with my guard up we were surprised and before we could react they made their first move. One from behind had jumped on Jammy's back and I managed to dodge another that had jumped at me. Jammy had been pinned down by them and before I could do anything the three of them dragged her off down the trail. The other three were focused on me and two of them had leaped at me but I dodged again. I was scared out of my mind and decided in the heat of the moment that I would try to run. The Three Spider things had kept up with my running and I feel like I got to do something. So I grabbed a knife from my belt that I had brought beforehand and stabbed one of the things as they jumped at me. I noticed that these things preferred to leap at me and wait for an opening. The opening presented itself as another had also jumped at me and so threw the knife, stabbing it right between the eyes. The Spider landed on the floor with a crash as the momentum from its leap was still carrying it. There was one remaining and luckily for me, it had run off at the sight of the other two dying. I was scared at the moment and didn't know if more of those things would be coming so I grabbed my knife and the body of the spider thing and ran straight to the local guards in the town nearby.
