Candles are good for any ritual while blood is amazing at summoning demons which is outlawed. Something that is a good medium is meteors but they are rare. But He had been hearing some rumors that a meteorite had landed intact in the forest somewhere and that the two teenagers in front of him had found the location of it. They said that the meteor looked weird which was normal, most meteors are unique in their looks but all of them are always rocks or crystalline. This meteor though from what he is hearing was that this one looked like it was bleeding, he never heard of a meteor that could bleed before, though he had never seen a meteor before like many others, people only heard of stories so how could he know if it was real? well, the only way is to go check it out and claim it for himself because this meteor may be a very powerful magic item and he could use it hehe.

I left the market in search of this special bleeding meteor and entered the forest on the dirt road and like the teenagers' instructions left the dirt road halfway and further into the woods. As he was heading towards where the meteor was said to be he suddenly got a wif of something that smelled terrible, like an animal that had been dead for days but ten times worse. He could barely breathe because of the rotten stench but maybe the meteor smelled like this and he was getting close. With that thought he sped up and went further into the forest and then the green forest view changed into something out of the worst horror story imaginable. The Forest has turned into a hellish red fleshy landscape with thorns and worm-like things covering the ground and little insects swarming the place. Dave could see that the trees were being covered and that whatever this place was was growing. The red-crimson fleshy surface that covered the ground was slowly growing closer to where he was standing and he wasn't ready to deal with this. He ran as fast as he could back to the mage academy so that he could tell a master of magic what was happening and what it could be.
