It was a nice sunny day and I didn't want it to start. Life as a commoner on this side of the village was boring and every day was laboring to make ends meet. My name is Ava and I had a lot to do today, well not a lot of different things, just some long repetitive things like sowing the fields for the next harvest. I also had to talk to one of my friends Jammy about how the harvest lately has been too much for her back and that she needs help with carrying the luggage for produce to the market, then setting up shop (again), and selling the items, and finally. Then we would go back home, have dinner, and sleep then the whole process starts again and ends when I die. Seems grim but that's life for yeah. I got out of Bed and was looking like a mess so I went to my washbasin and cleaned myself up. I had eaten breakfast which was some fruit and veggies, I wish I had some Eggs to have but those are expensive these days.

I headed out of the house and told my mother Emily that I was going to get help from Jammy today for carrying and selling. When I got to her house I knocked on her door then her mother opened the door. "Hey Ava, how are you doing? I heard that today at the market that grapes are in high demand these days." I told her "Thanks, I am doing fine like always, I came over because I wanted to have Jammy help me out today." She said "Well I hope the profits today are great today, Hey, while you are there would you mind getting me some more parchment for writing? I think the kids would love that."

"I will gladly do that for you miss." I had said. ready to go get Jammy, But then she said "Oh, and have you seen that meteor shower this morning? It looks beautiful, you don't see many of those these days." I then say "Sorry, I haven't, I was too busy getting out of the prison that is my bed." We both laugh. "Well anyway, I will go get jammy for you." I then wait outside for for to get jammy. While waiting I looked at the sky, It was nice today with little bits of clouds and blue sky and the sun shining bright as always. But there was something off, something was falling out of the sky, probably a meteorite but it looked bigger than the usual ones. This one looked like it was staying intact going through the sky. I will tell Jammy about it when she gets here.

Jammy finally greets me at the door with her mother. Jammy is a girl who would always bring me into things and come up with ideas that usually always fail. She is always curious about how the world works, which is why she wishes to get into the mage academy when she gets enough money. When I get enough money I will get people to do the work for me so I can make money without doing anything, that's my dream.

I say "Hey jammy, I just wanted to have your help with bringing the produce to the market and help me sell them. Also, I just Saw a big meteorite that had just entered the atmosphere and seemed like it landed intact. I was wondering if you would like to go check it out along the way to the market." "Sure I would like to help, I would also Like to go see what this meteorite looks like, I've never seen one up close before." She said. We now head to the farm where we then pack up the produce in the back of the wagon and start to head to the market. The market is relatively close to where we live but it is separated by a forest, luckily the forest has been cleared out and a small dirt road has been had for ease of travel.

I saw that the meteorite had landed somewhere close to the dirt road in the forest so it was convenient for us since we were heading in that direction anyway. When we were halfway to the market we headed off the road to see if the meteorite was intact. It is said that meteorites are valued quite high by mages. When we had gotten to the impact site we found something strange.

There was impact of the meteor and the meteorite but there was something that looked was seeping out of it. It looked like the meteorite was bleeding which I found very creepy since I don't know what meteors are but rocks that came from outside this world. We decided that I would just leave it and tell someone else about the meteorite once we get to the market, Hopefully we can get a cut of the profit by finding it in the first place. So we start heading to the market again where we can do our daily chores, just like any other day it seems.
