The Beginning of His End
He is really a Star....

He is really a Star....

Henry could not think straight, the only thing he was aware of was the sound of the ambulance as it found its way to the hospital. Was Hunter really dead, or was he imagining it? He could not find an answer to the numerous questions going on in his head.

He dug his fingernails deeper in the man's hand. He had killed Hunter, he would pay for it- that, Henry would make sure he sees to it.

The man groaned in pain as Henry's fingernails created a cut in his hand which soon started bleeding. He had made a mistake by coming here, by agreeing to scare them in the first place. He broke down in tears as he remembered the look of horror on Hunter's face before he breathed his last.

The gun was still in his hand, he tried to let go of it, but it stayed glued to his hand.

"I am sorry, I didn't plan to kill anyone, I am sorry, the ….." A blinding slap stopped the words in his throat. Everywhere became dark. He was not sure if he would be able to see again. Not the slap hurt, but the pains that he felt in his ears afterwards, and the howling sounds in his ears.

"Another word from you, and I will show you the way to the hell you belong" it came as a threat, more of a whisper than Henry had meant. He wanted to shout in the man's ears, so that he would stop hearing for the rest of his life- if he had any more years to live.

He shivered at Henry's voice. Definitely he was not going to come out of it whole. The thought of it sent another fresh tear down Tuy's face.

The ambulance stopped in front of the hospital, the sudden halt of it made Tuy hit his head on the window. He winced in pain, rubbing the place he had hit the window. His face was getting swollen with tears already.

Hunter was quickly brought out of the ambulance. Henry watched as his body was brought out of the car. He could not stop the tears from rolling down his cheek. That was all about Hunter. That was how he died, and there was nothing he could do about it, but surely the man who had killed Hunter would pay all he could.

He followed Hunter in, watching as he was rolled on the stretcher into the theater.

"Is he going to live again?" He could not even believe himself as he asked the doctor who had come looking for Hunter's guardian.

"I have been dying to meet you, Henry" the doctor ignored his question and extended his hand for a handshake.

Despite the situation, someone was still telling him this? Henry tried to stop himself from getting angry. He shook his hand.

"He said a lot about you" the doctor pointed to a way leading to his office.

"I can't believe he made it up to this moment, he is a fighter" the doctor said, leading the way.

"What do you mean?" Henry asked with a puzzled frown.

"The last few days had been tough for him, I told him to be prepared for his departure. He was not happy about it… who will be?" The doctor stole a glance at Henry.

"You knew he was going to die?" Henry found no meaning to what the doctor was saying. It made no sense to him!

"Yes. I bet the gunshots saved him from further pains" the doctor said with a shrug.

"You knew about it? About what was wrong with him?" Henry suddenly grabbed the doctor by the collar. The action took the doctor by surprise.

"What are you doing?" The doctor asked in terror.

"You knew he was going to die and you hid it from me? You didn't tell me?" Henry yelled. Heads turned in their direction.

"There was no way I could reach out to you. And, he instructed me not to tell you about it. He didn't want you to know about it" the doctor's voice came in a whisper.

"Get out of my sight!" Henry yelled at the doctor, letting go of his clothes.

"I got that, '' the doctor smiled before going through a door away from Henry.

"Henry?" He heard a familiar voice just when he was going to fall on the floor. A hand gripped him from behind, he allowed himself to rest on it, at the moment.

"When do you leave the house? I was worried" Leila held one of his hands, looking at him worriedly.

"Hunter is dead," Henry said before he could stop himself from letting the words out.

"We have to get out of here first. Let's go home" Leila said calmly. She must have heard about it.

"You knew about his illness? You do?" Henry took off his hand from Leila and stared at him angry. The fire in his eyes would burn if it had been possible.

"I am sorry, he told me not to let you know about it" Leila looked down at her feet, clearly she was scared of what Henry would do.

"You too?" Henry gave a sarcastic laugh, he shook his head, pretending not to have heard her.

The guards followed him as he walked out of the hospital, the tears coming more freely. All the moments he had spent with Hunter came flooding his head. He fell at the doorway, unable to take in the reality of what was happening to him.

Leila made way for the guards to take Henry into the car. A lot of people had stayed on the way, everyone was trying to take a video of him. She bites her lower lips. It would ruin Henry, his career and his well being if the video gets viral.

The sudden sounds of rain coming in the distance made everyone scramble out of the way to get into a shed. Lightning struck and the rain poured heavily. For once, Leila had to admit that Henry was really a star.
