Heyo, DaoMaster here. So this is my thoughts on writing my own web novel in the past few days. I will list my current thoughts to make it easier for me to organize my thoughts.
So this is the list of my current thoughts in making a web novel:
1. It Sucks.
You might say, "what sucked specifically?". Well, it's hard to write words.
2. My Expectations.
A few days ago, due to my love for manga, anime, and stuff, I thought of writing my own story. A story that I dictate, a story that I can do whatever I want. You know, typical nerd dreams. I know you all want to make a story too so start now YAHAHAHA.
First, I started learning how to draw and I'm thinking of drawing a slice of life Manga that do no have a particular story. Just featuring part of their lives...and you guessed it, I sucked at drawing. So no choice. I guess I'll just write a web novel since I have no talent in drawing Manga. My expectations is that I will be able to write a decent story with a lot of chapters immediately. As for fame and whatnot, I don't have any expectations for those. I think, 20 or so consistent readers are enough for me and 20 people are already A LOTTTT. So thank you readers.
Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on the original website.
3. Writing a story.
I am so terrible at writing a story and I can see it. A few days ago, I suddenly want to create a story so I did without realizing that it's so hard. I wrote the first thing that came into my mind, the general story, how it will end, the characters and that's it. No further planning.
So now, we have a bald mc traveling the world to get cure for his baldness while simultaneously fighting dragons and gods. That's my peak brain power hehe,
What I realized when writing a story so far is that, I should've create a foundation for my story. Like the world building and such. It's okay though, as I'm thinking of the possible events as I write my story. Also, I thought that writing was easy and that's my biggest failure of all. Finding the right words, connecting events, and giving life to the characters. I thought I could do it but damn, it's so hard.
4. I still have so much to learn.
Though writing is hard and complicated for me, I still want to continue writing at least for this book so that I could be proud of myself. I still have so much to learn, a will continue to learn. I hope I improve in the future.
5. That's it.
That's it. Just a bunch of nonsense. Wish me luck in my goals. I hope these few chapters will become the foundation for 100 or even 300 chapters. Thank you for reading.
