Jacob opened hiseyes to a green and lustrous jungle surrounding him from all sides. He looks around frantically wondering how he went from being in the classroom and now waking up in a jungle. Did someone kidnap him for a few days and place him here? He pulled up his school shirt sleeve and checked his digital watch, noticing that it was 5:32 pm in the afternoon and still the 28th of may, meaning that it had only been a few hours since he was at school. H
squeezed his brain out trying to think of how he got here in a few hours but to no avail. The only way he could have reached South America or somewhere in Africa or Asia is by plane. Despite that it would take more than a few hours to get from the northwest of America all the way to the top of South America, so how?
He was checking his pockets for his flip phone to see if he had any signal when a blue rectangle appeared infornt of him.
Planet transformation complete.
New Planet Grade: Epsilon
Jacob jumped back from the sudden image and began crawling away from the semi-transparent blue screen yet it followed him. He waved his hands in the air in an attempt to clear the extraterrestrial screen away yet his hand fazed through it. He closed his eyes and yet it still stayed within his vision. After a few seconds of failed attempts to try understand how it was physically possible to project a screen another appeared Infront of him.
Flora and Fauna upgraded to match New Planet Grade.
Insufficient challenge....countermeasures in effect.
Analyzing Planet "Earth" Database.... Certain creatures revived to increase challenge.
What the fuck is going on? Planet transformation? Wildlife upgraded? He looked around hoping to find any hidden cameras but came with nothing, just a jungle. What the hell is all of this?
All Queries are explained within the Tutorial. Do you wish to enter the Tutorial? Yes/No
Tutorial? The only tutorial's he had ever seen were on YouTube on trivial things such as how to tie a tie or how to get free robux in Roblux when he was around 7 years old. He tried to click on the box the same way a smartphone worked but nothing happened. After having his finger slip through the screen a few times he decided to say yes and then the screen changed.
Initiating Tutorial....Tutorial cancelled. Exorbitant amount of natural energy used to transform planet. Tutorial disabled.

Objective: Survive
So the only way he could find out the answers to the many questions he currently has was "disabled". To add insult to Injury he got an Objective which was to survive. His short time in the boy scouts might have helped with things such as starting a fire and using a compass and map, but it didn't teach him how to survive in a jungle. He had to figure that out himself without a tutorial or anything.
A normal person would hope that this was some sort of elaborate prank but he didn't want to put all his hope into something that was highly unlikely. He had tried that before and couldn't bring himself to do it anymore. For now he needs to focus on how to get out this jungle. He couldn't see the sun from all the dense upper growth of the tress so there was no way of telling which way was north, so he decided to pick the route with the least amount of bushes.

He checked his left trousers pocket and found that the Twix bars were still there along with the crumpled up plastic water bottle that he hadn't bothered to throw in the garbage can, so off he went to try and get out of the jungle and get to civilization.
----------------------------------------
After a while of walking at the uneven and unusually solid dirt Jacob had come across many unusual things. He walked past bushes almost his height and around tall trees with the weirdest bark he had ever seen. Some trees were coloured dark green to blend in with the surroundings while others were grey and pale which could easily be mistaken for a dead tree yet branches and leaves still grew. He had also noticed large brown trees which had entertwined and fused around each other almost creating an upper layer of dense branches which looked like they came out of an elven fantasy. Throughout his 3 years of studying Geography he had never come across any of these trees at all which confused him. Perhaps they were one of the many undiscovered plant species in the rainforests of South America that no one had known about. The thought of discovering new plant species had excited him, so he tried to take a small piece of bark to possibly keep as a souvenir or donate to a plant researcher, but all of the trees were abnormally hard so he dumped the idea.
After confirming that the plants in the jungle were suspiciously weird he came across enormous insects that were once the size of an ant but now easily reached the size of a chicken nugget. He had even come across a dung beetle the size of a cat which he carefully avoided.
After walking for about an hour his stomach had reminded him with a bellowing gurgle that he had not eaten for 12 hours. He never ate at school because he couldn't be bothered to make anything at his apartment which usually wasn't a problem but now he was beginning to think he should have snatched that kids juicy sausage roll at lunch time and eaten it. Recieving a detention would have completely worth it after all. Especially when the Twix bars that he had just eaten barely satiated his hunger.
Without dwelling on his laziness to make food he begun searching for something eat. After a few minutes of looking around he found some bushes that had berries dotted around. He picked one out and inspected it. It looked shriveled with no juice inside and was coloured an ugly dark green which was a no no in Jacobs book. He wasn't going to eat something that looked poisonous so he grabbed a handful and shoved them in his right pocket incase it proved useful in the future.
While on the search for food heinspected more berries and unusual plants that were scattered around hoping that they looked even slightly familiar but to his dismay he didn't find anything familiar. After inspecting a few more plants he finally found something on a tall tree which looked familiar. Jacob walked towards the slim tree until he stood right under it and squinted his eyes. He saw that the fruits on the tree looked like oversized mangoes although slightly redder than usual and then tried to climb the tree, only to realise that his weight had caused the tree to teeter sideways, making him fall off with a thud. The tree's trunk was too weak to carry his weight while climbing so he thought of possibly bringing it down completely but decided not to, as it would create a lot of noise which wasn't a good thing to do in the middle of a jungle filled with abnormal creatures.
The tree was thin enough Jacob to completely wrap his arms around so he grabbed the tree and shook it. Sure enough the mangoes began to fall, most splattered immediately on impact and some landed in the arms of Jacob. He sat down and started eating the mangoes and by the time he was done with the second one he was surprisingly full. He didn't want to let the rest of the mangoes go to waste as this was the only tree that he had found so far which had edible food.
Jacob grabbed some small leaves off a bush andripped them into thin strips, wrapping them around eachother and making a knot every now and then until he had a few strands of twine. He took larger leaves and made a few holes in, placing the twine in and looping it around the leaves until he made something that resembled a bag. True it was a pathetic excuse of one and it placing anything heavy in it would rip it apart but it was good enough to place fruits in, and so he did. He had to thank his father for teaching him how to make that.
After making sure they were secure Jacob set off once again in search of civilization.
