"Are we there yet?" Somebody asked in the back.
"Almost." Jack said as he turned down the radio.
"If everyone followed the instructions that I gave them, all of us should be meeting at the safehouse at the same time." Jack said with a raised voice that was loud enough for everyone to hear.
With the van being quiet, Jack knew he was going to have to make a speech.
"Yes we're about to go on a suicidal heist, yes we're going to be pushed to our limits, no there's not going to be any failure." Jack said before he had to stop and take a breath.
Yumi turns the van a couple times down an abandoned street before Jack resumes.
"The American Government built it to deter most criminals from ever trying." Jack said as he pulled out the bottle cap from his pocket
"But we're not like most criminals." Jack said as he clutched the cap in his palm.
"We've got everyone working towards th-" Jack stopped as he looked into the back of the van and saw that everyone was on their phones.
Jack simply clicks his tongue and returns to face the front of the van. Yumi turns the radio back up and keeps her attention on the road.
After some time the van stops and Jack announces that they've arrived. Everyone puts their phones away and starts to climb out of the back of the van.
"Jack, I thought you loved this place. What the hell happened?" Tyson said as he looked at the ruined surface of the building.
Jack doesn't even bother responding to Tysons question and starts heading inside. Everyone soon follows pace and once inside Jack abruptly stops.
"Morgan,Connor." Jack said as he turned his head upwards to see Morgan in one corner of the room and Connor right below her
"What took you so long?" Connor asked jokingly with a smirk.
"What took you so long." Jack said in a mocking voice. Connor’s smirk disappeared as he waved Morgan to follow.
"Who's this ass clown?" Morgan whispered into Connor’s ear.
Before Connor could respond Jack spun around and shot Morgan in the leg causing her to fall hard onto the ground.
Within the same second Jack's gun was pointed at Connor’s chest. Finger on the trigger.
Connor looks at Jack in the eyes to show he's pissed that his girlfriend was shot and wants an explanation.
"You've seen me serious, you've just now seen me joking and now you see me pissed off." Jack said with a blank face. "I've been called a lot of things in my life; a thief, liar, a cheat but never a clown, why? Because they're never taken seriously." Jack said in the absolute coldest voice anyone has ever heard.

Jack then motioned with his head for Connor to pick up Morgan and started walking inside.
“Could’ve given me a warning asshole!” Morgan yelled. “That was your warning.” Sarah said as she started to follow Jack.
“Never seen him handle that insult so well.” Rob said as he walked into the room. Tyson and Yumi soon followed suit and walked into the room. With Connor helping Morgan limp into the room, all of them were astonished with everything.
“Holy shit!” Tyson and Sarah said in unison.
“Welcome to the safehouse.” Jack said as a grin grew across his face. A radio is playing along the wall just loud enough for it to be heard around the room.
Everyone is looking around and seeing things that catches their eye, Tyson see’s the gym that has a wide variety of equipment from free weights to punching bags, Rob see’s a dedicated room with guns and ammo. Yumi looks through the building and out a glass door to see a range that’s set up for any and all types of targets. Sarah sees on the second floor balcony are safes lined up in uniformed order and a table filled with drills and equipment. Connor and Morgan are upset that there’s nothing for them to marvel at.
“Welcome home Jack. I can see you’ve been busy.” Kaz said with his arms wide and a smile on his face. Jack walks up to Kaz and they exchange a friendly hug.
“Everyone fall in.” Jack yelled as he walked into the center of the room and stepped on a hidden tile. Soon a table is rising from the floor and everyone is approaching it. When everyone has gathered around, Sarah and Rob give John a dirty look.
“Not my idea.” Jack said as he pointed at Tyson. Sarah and Rob roll their eyes before returning their attention back to the table.
“I need everyone to pay attention. We only got a week to get this heist setup and one shot to execute it.” Jack said as he unrolled some documents across the table.
“Here’s what we know.” Jack said as he looked up and saw all eyes were on him. “Security there is tighter than my asshole.” Jack said jokingly. Only Tyson and Sarah chuckled at the joke. Jack clears his throat before beginning again.

“Sir, our operatives are in position.” Mitchel said in a firm voice.
“Good.” another voice said. “There are whispers going around in the underworld that something big will happen.” The same unknown voice said out loud. “You claim that these operators are more elite than most special forces,I want you to prove it to me.” The same voice said.
“What kind of test are you thinking about?” Mitchel asked.
“Station them at Fort Knox for now.” The unknown voice said out loud. “Given what happened at Caracas, I’m not giving them a test until we find out who was behind it.” The stranger said.
“Yes sir!” Mitchel said as he came to attention and gave a salute to the man in front of him.
“Dismissed.” The figure said as he waved his hand.
Mitched lowers his salute and does an about face before leaving the room.

“Everyone understand the plan?” Jack asked as he stood up straight. Everyone responds in their own way of saying yes.
“Good, everyone knows their roles in this job and let’s get to work.” Jack said with a smile across his face and soon everyone is leaving the table to go do whatever work they need to do. Jack leaves the table soon after and walks up to the second floor and approaches a door that’s on the far end of the balcony.
As Jack walked into the room, he locked the door and turned on the lights. There he looks up and sees the evidence board that he’s been working on for weeks. Jack pulls out the bottle cap that he’s kept in his pocket and punches a push pin through the center of the cap before hanging it up on the board and tying a red string around it.
“I’m sorry.” Jack thought to himself before he allowed himself to shed a tear.
