Chapter 58

"Do we know who Fenrir is talking to?" a UEE officer asked his subordinate.

"No, but we're looking into him. Apparently, he is Fenrir's master."

"That's not good. Fenrir is already strong enough, so how strong would his supposed master be? Anna Zenith is also there, the Blood Queen."

"Maybe it's her older brother? Tai Zenith was it?"

"Hmm, it's possible and it makes the most sense. Tai Zenith was already on our watchlist, along with his sister, and Fenrir. If Fenrir is one of their allies then that's not good."

The man nodded. "Their mother is also weird."

"How so? I think that she's just a normal mother, right? Or am I wrong?"

"Well, it looks like it, but her level is 1. Exactly 1, which doesn't make any sense since she owns a diner and she's the main chef. In fact, I think she's the only chef meaning that she must have the cooking skill, right? So how is her level 1?"

"Maybe there's a skill that can conceal, or disguise one's level? Definitely look into her. Also, if she's weird, then what about their father?"

"I looked into that too. It doesn't look weird and it says that they divorced shortly after their eldest was born and then he kind of just disappeared as if someone erased him from history."

"Tsk, what a troublesome family. Report this to the Admirals. I'm sure at least one of them would be interested."

The man nodded and walked away, the report in his hands.

----------------------------------------

Back in the diner, Nagi and Fenrir were singing songs and having a good time as they were drunk from Luna's homemade alcohol.

Nagi was in his dragon form, but instead of the miniature dragon that he would usually use, he made himself bigger so his size would match Fenrir's form.

"TO MASTER!" they said in unison, laughing afterwards like they had been long-time friends.

Fenrir turned to his pack members, giving them a barrel of alcohol. "Drink... Drink. We are having a celebration!"

"Alpha, we'd rather not. What if we get attacked? I do not understand why you would drink poison so happily."

Fenrir let out a deep laugh. "Hahaha. Only poison if you die," he said, chugging another glass of alcohol.

"Yes, I agree!" Nagi chimed in.

By this time, most of the customers had already left as it was getting late and most of them had to wake up early tomorrow. The UEE spies that were trying to listen in on their conversations were moved by Tai and were standing on the top of a giant skyscraper.

"Are you sure we can drink and eat all this? What if we put you out of business?" Tai asked his mom.

Anna laughed. "Don't worry about it brother. Mom has tons of supplies and she's richer than you think. What we should worry about is how I'm 16 and still can't drink. I mean come on, the world changed, moooom."

"Even if the world changes, you'll listen to me until you turn 18, young woman. No alcohol and it'll stay that way until you're old enough," her mom said, making her sigh out of frustration.

Fenrir's pack members huffed and puffed as they were trying to stop Fenrir from drinking another glass of alcohol.

"Fenrir's master, I'm sorry for bothering you, but can you help us? He has already drunk enough, and chances are, from his bottomless hunger, he won't stop unless we stop him," the beta of the pack asked Tai.

Tai chuckled. "Sure, why not? What's your name and do you guys have a place to stay?"

"Thank you, Fenrir's master. My name is Hauser and no, we do not have a place to stay. We were thinking of leaving the city and going into the forest."

"Hauser, we can't have you guys sleeping in the forest. Here, tell the pack to follow me. I'll personally get you the best room in an apartment here."

Tai moved towards Fenrir and the wolves moved back in response as he grabbed Fenrir with one arm and slinged him over his shoulder.

Fenrir might not look that heavy, but he was. One of the powers of the Deadly Sin, Gluttony was that a percentage of the user's weight was added onto the user's strength meaning that Fenrir was very heavy. Much heavier than the average car.

The wolves watched in awe as Tai picked up Fenrir effortlessly and made Fenrir look lighter than a feather.

Hauser yelled out to the pack, "Follow the alpha's master!"

"I guess I should go too then," Anna said as she watched Tai leave with Fenrir on his shoulder. She hugged her mom one last time before waving goodbye. "Bye! See you tomorrow!"

Anna left after Tai and the pack, heading towards her own apartment. She had enough money to buy her own house and even a medium-sized building, but she was too lazy and she lived by herself so an apartment was totally fine with her.

----------------------------------------

Arriving at a big building that said:

Luxury Apartments

Enjoy apartments that are in their own pocket dimension meaning that only you and the people you allow are the only ones that can go in.

100% customizable

Walking inside, Tai saw a female human working as a receptionist.

"Welcome! Please fill out the holographic form and then our highly intelligent AI will make a room to your standards," the woman said as a holographic form appeared in front of Tai

Luxury Apartments How many beings are going to be in the room? (Use ~ to approximate if you're not sure): _____ What would you like the theme of your room to be?: _____ What is your budget? (Use 0 if you don't care about the price): _____ Submit

The form was surprisingly simple. On the theme, Tai put 'Something wolves would like' and 0 for budget. After submitting the form, he had to wait as the AI processed his submission and another hologram appeared.

Luxury Apartments - A Room Fit For Wolves Monthly payment: 100,000 AC

Various holographic cameras appeared, showcasing the room which was a dark castle that was surrounded by a forest. From the outside, the castle looked ruined, but it was entirely different from the inside. The inside was clean, with the living room having a giant holographic T.V. Each room which was a staggering over 65 rooms, all had their own giant wolf bed, with some of the rooms having 2 or more beds if the wolf was sleeping with his/her mate, or family.

"This is perfect. I'll buy it. Can you allow this big guy and all these wolves access to the room?"

The woman nodded. "Of course, just pay here and then the AI will do it for you."

Tai paid for the room. It was quite expensive being monthly, but he didn't mind. He had a lot of items in his dimensional storage that he could sell for a lot of AC.
