Combining the handle and the head of the hammer wasn't hard and Tai finished it with no problems. He looked over the hammer that he made, staring at it with fascination.

"Good job. Keep it up an' ye'll be an amazing blacksmith in tha future."
Valgrek grabbed the pieces of metal and wood that Tai didn't use and stored them away. "It's getting late. Come back tomorrow an' we'll make ye a nice weapon."
Tai nodded as he grabbed the hammer and waved goodbye to Valgrek. He started walking and looked up at the sky. It was getting dark and Anna was nowhere to be seen. "Jeez, what's taking her so long?"
Since Anna hadn't been back yet, there was only one reason why, she was still in the trial since if she had failed the trial, she would have been sent back and most likely back by now. Then again, she could be back by now, so he decided to go to his mom's restaurant to see if she was there, and to eat some food.
----------------------------------------
Anna healed herself with her crude healing magic as she saw him staring at herself with perverted eyes. He was right, she had to be ready for anything, so she secretly controlled the darkness around herself, waiting for him to teleport.
When he teleported in front of her to burn her, she realized something. He didn't teleport back, so there could be a chance that there was a cooldown on the teleport. She wasn't sure if there was, but she had to try.
To bait Rargos into teleporting again, Anna sent another attack at him, but this time, it was razor-sharp winds that would cut him if he even touched it a little bit. To make it even more convincing, Anna inserted a decent amount of mana into the attack.
Rargod smirked. "Haven't you learned nothing?"
Just like before, he began channeling mana into his staff, but this time, it wasn't a fireball, it was something dangerous. Its aura alone would scare monsters away. This was one of the signature magic of the demons, the Dark Arts.
A type of magic that only has one use, destruction. Rargos teleported behind Anna and was about to release his attack when black tentacles appeared form under him and grabbed his legs, squeezing them tight and making him lose concentration of his spell.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
When he teleported behind her, the shadows immediately detected him and tentacles rose up, grabbing him. Anna turned around, looking at Rargos. It seemed the teleportation did have a cooldown as if it didn't, he would've teleported by now.
"What did I say? I won't let that happen again!" When Rargos appeared behind her, she felt the ominous spell that he was casting. It was made purely for destruction and nothing else, and she wanted it. From what she felt from the spell, she tried recreating it. It wasn't perfect, but she had done it. A very crude form of the Dark Arts.
"Have a taste of your own spell." She released the spell on the struggling demon. Clearly alarmed at how she managed to copy his spell that took him a long time to learn.
"How?" was all he could say as he was blasted by the spell.
Rargos was covered by a black energy as he began coughing out blood and receiving cuts and injuries. He lived, covered in injuries outside and inside his body. If Anna had perfected a bit more of the spell, she could've killed him, but she didn't.
Rargos's teleport had finished its cooldown and he teleported far away from Anna.
"Oh no you don't." Anna ran towards the injured demon, charging up another of the Dark Arts spell. It had taken a large chunk of her mana, but she would be able to cast it a few more times.
Rargos did his best to hold up his staff as a green energy appeared around him. "The dead are my playthings. Listen to your master and rise."
Seemingly appearing from nowhere, zombies, and skeletons started appearing from the ground. Rargos used one of the signature magic of the demons again, Necromancy. He wasn't using these undead to attack though, he was using them to heal himself.
He held his staff up and started draining the undead of their little Life-Force to heal himself. The undead had little Life-Force being undead, but they still had some that he could use. His wounds started healing, and some of his internal injuries healed, but he was still injured by the spell.
The undead that he had summoned disappeared, drained of their Life-Force.
Anna fired wind slashes at him, forcing him to dodge with his still injured body.
Rargos dodged, but since his body was still injured, it caused excruciating pain. "You..."
Firmly gripping his staff, he inserted all of his mana into this one attack as he had to end this as soon as possible. Anna had the advantage and if this was a battle of endurance, then she would definitely win, regardless of her experience.
Although he channeled all his mana into a Dark Arts spell, the spell wasn't detectable even though Rargos had inserted most of his mana into it. This was a hard feat that would only last for around 10 seconds, and have a very long cooldown, so he had to end this battle with this attack.
As Anna approached, she controlled the darkness that was around Rargos, and tentacles gripped his body, squeezing him, but he didn't mind. All he was focused on was not losing concentration.
Anna stood in front of him. "Can't teleport, huh?"
The teleport was already off cooldown, but he couldn't even if he wanted to because of he was using all his mana in this one spell.
Anna channeled a dark arts spell, a bit better than the last, and would surely kill the injured demon. "Die."
The demon smirked and fired the dark arts spell. From this distance, it would be impossible to dodge, and since it contained all of his mana, Anna would die if she was hit by such an attack.
