"Ughh, what a pain." Tai was confident that he could make it to the north side in a decent time, even while missing a leg, but it still annoyed him.
Tai did a squat and stretched his leg as he got ready to make the trip to the north side. Bending his knee and channeling his ki on his leg, he disappeared in a gust of air as he began jumping from rooftop to rooftop, leaving little cracks from where he jumped that slowly healed over time.
As he did so, Fenrir kept up with his master, meaning that he had most likely spent some of his points on dexterity.
If someone were to track Tai's speed, it would show that he was moving at around 200 km/h. Although Tai was traveling at a fast speed, in his view the world was in slight slow-motion as he stepped on each rooftop carefully, and ran along the road if there were no rooftops in sight, dodging and weaving through people.
After a few minutes, Tai finally arrived at his destination, the north side. Reaching the black border that blocked any monsters from coming in, Tai touched it, receiving a message from the system.
Would you like to leave MP5934 - Aether City - 432?
YES NO
Tai pressed 'yes' and just like how he entered the city, he was taken by a flash of light along with Fenrir and was transported outside of the city. Instead of seeing the desert that Tai had been wandering through, Tai found himself in a forest with trees of varying size.
Tai looked at Fenrir who was beside him. He didn't want him to always follow him, he wanted him to live his own life, so Tai dismissed Fenrir and told him to do his own thing. They could always meet up again as both the master and the slave could feel each other's location. Fenrir barked at his master as he started running into the forest to go on his own journey.
In the forest, there was the usual 'normal' sized tree, and every so often, Tai would see a gigantic tree, reaching all the way to the clouds. Tai looked in awe at the gigantic tree, but quickly dismissed it as that wasn't what he was here for. He was here to kill some goblins and it didn't take long to find some.
Walking through the vast, green forest, Tai heard guttural mutterings nearby that definitely didn't sound human. The sound was unpleasant to the ears, kind of like scratching a chalkboard with your nails, but this was slightly better, only slightly.
Tai went to the sound of the mutterings and saw the familiar green, short beings that he had seen from games. Instead of instantly initiating combat with the goblins, Tai chose to follow them as his goal wasn't to kill a couple of goblins, but an entire tribe.
The goblins spoke to each other as they hunted a rabbit, beating it like a savage with a wooden club and painting the forest scenery red. Happy with their hunt, the group of goblins drooled as they stored the rabbit in a rudimentary bag made of hides of various animals and started heading off to their village.

This was exactly what Tai wanted. As the goblins made their way back to their village, Tai followed behind them, making sure that he was careful with each step as to not step on a branch and alert the goblins.
It didn't take long before Tai arrived at the place the goblins called a village. There were huts made out of animal hide that looked like they should've fallen a long time ago, but somehow held stable. When Tai accepted the mission, he expected there would be a lot of goblins, but this tribe must be new as there were only about 20 at most, and about 4 of them were babies that couldn't even hurt a bird.
Tai didn't exactly feel good about killing the babies, but they posed much more danger when they grew up to be adults.
When the group of goblins arrived with their fresh new kill, all the goblins cheered as they placed the animals that they had killed over a fire to eat.
The system translated what the goblins were saying, so Tai could vaguely hear what they said.
"FOOD! GOBU FOOD! RABBIT TASTY HAHA!" Tai heard one goblin say.
As the goblins were sitting around the fire, waiting for the food to finish cooking, they didn't even consider the chance of them being attacked. After all, they were nice and safe in their little village, right?
Standing upright, Tai grabbed his walking stick and held it like one would if they were throwing a spear. Shaping the walking stick, Tai added a curved blade to the end of the stick.

Tai wasn't the best at aiming, but improving his dexterity had increased his accuracy and Tai was pretty confident at hitting the goblin from far away, especially when they were just sitting down and doing nothing.
Cocking his arm back, Tai let out a roar as he threw his weapon at a great speed, easily surpassing the speed of sound. Tai had been aiming for what he considered the strongest goblin as it was the biggest out of all the goblins and was part of the hunting crew that he had followed.
The weapon was a red blur as it flew through the air and struck the goblin leaving no time to react. Some might call it overkill, but Tai was just staying safe and not underestimating his opponent.
When the weapon struck the goblin and instantly killed it, there was a shockwave blowing back the goblins and knocking down the huts that the goblins had built.

Ignoring the notifications that he had just received, Tai dispelled the ki weapon as he created another one in his hand with the same exact curved blade at the end that resembled that of a katana. If Tai remembered correctly, this was called a naginata.
Tai used his naginata to balance as he charged at the goblins, taking advantage of their confused state. One second they were celebrating food, and the next, their strongest warrior had died.
"No hard feelings, but a man's gotta make money." Swinging his naginata, Tai went on a killing spree, beheading the goblins and eliminating the goblin tribe. For the babies, Tai made sure to kill them instantly so they wouldn't suffer.
By the end of the extermination of the goblin tribe, Tai gained another level in Energy Combat, and Polearm Proficiency leveled up to 2.
