Select and Freya locked eyes, raising their swords.
“Not If I do it first.” Freya replied.
Both ran towards each other, ready to attack.
Meanwhile, the Horseman appeared in front of Maxine.
“Shit…”
“I’m sorry, it’s orders,” said the Horseman.
Maxine prepared for the attack.
“Hey, get off!”
Behind the Horseman, on his shoulders, Kate clung to him.
“Kate, be careful!”
“Leave my friend alone, you asshole!” Kate yelled.
The swords clashed, Select and Freya stared at each other intently.
“I’m going to make you pay for what you said to Maxine,” Select said.
The swords separated, and Select dodged an attack.
The sound of the swords echoed against the walls. Meanwhile, both of them were moving through the tunnels, not knowing where they would end up.
“This is the end, Select! I will rid the world of scum like you!”
“The scum here is you, Freya.”
They struggled and fought, inflicting minor injuries on each other, but they stood their ground.
Kate leapt off the Horseman’s back.
“It’s over!” Maxine cast the only spell she could, causing the Horseman to lose balance.
Kate kicked the Horseman, which barely fazed him.
“You can’t defeat me!”
“Stop it!” Maxine and Kate were ready for the next attack. Until…
“Enough!” Freya said as she walked out into the Sleepy Hollow cemetery.
Select put his sword to Freya’s neck, and she couldn’t do anything.
“Please, have mercy!” Freya pleaded.
Select was considering it, but memories of Smith came to mind.
What kind of person would he be if he killed her?
“No, I can’t do it.” He said as he lowered the sword.
“Thank you…”
After this, Freya struck his hand and took the sword from Select.
“You’re weak.”
“No, I’m just a good person. Something you’ll never be.”
“Silence! I hope you enjoy your stay in Hell…”
Raising her weapon, she was ready to kill Select… Until a sword pierced her chest.
“But what…?!”
“This is for everything you’ve done to me, this is for all that I’ve suffered!” Charles shouted, removing the sword from his chest.
Freya fell to the ground, barely able to breathe.
Charles grabbed the book.

“But I won’t let you die, I’ll make you pay, you witch! Horseman, cut off Freya’s head!”
The Horseman appeared, followed by the surprised Maxine and Kate.
“Wait, no, don’t do this to me! Please, no!”
The Horseman approached and beheaded Freya, picking it up and placing it on his shoulders. The face transformed from Freya’s to Abraham’s, finally free from the curse.
“At last!”
Freya’s body convulsed, with the pumpkin connecting to her body.
“No, no, no, what have you done to me?!”
“What you deserve, rest forever!”
Charles began to read a text in Latin.
Vines grabbed Freya and began to drag her to a grave.
“NOOOOO, PLEASE! MAXINE, HELP ME!”
“I’m sorry, I can’t do anything,” Maxine said bluntly.
Freya continued to scream as she fell into the grave, becoming further entangled until she couldn’t speak from being so covered.
The earth closed over her, trapping her there for all eternity.
Maxine felt that her past was finally behind her.
“I’m sorry about your mother, Maxine.”
“I don’t need it, I’ve found my new family.”
Then Maxine embraced Select, leaving him surprised.
“Thank you, Maxine.”
“Wow, that was quite an eventful adventure.” Richard “Kit” Robinsons commented.
“You bet, and I’m glad it ended well…“ Select replied.
Both were standing in the Robinsons Industries building.
“And Maxine?”
“She’s great, and so is Kate.”
“I’m glad, and how about you?”
“I’m also doing well, happy to be with the people that matter to me, and also with my best friend.”
Kit smiled, followed by a brief silence where they both gazed into each other’s eyes.
“Well… any plans for the future?”
“For now, just continue with my classes.”
Maxine and Kate entered, laughing heartily, and joined Select and Kit.
The tomb opened, and Freya stared blankly at what the tangled branches allowed her to see on her body.
“You have failed me miserably, Freya,” said Jonathan Hamilton. “We had an agreement, but you have not succeeded.”
Freya glared angrily at Hamilton.
“Don’t think I’m going to get you out of there; you deserve it for what you have done… And for failing in your deal… Enjoy your eternal life in there.”
Freya screamed, and the earth buried her once again.
Meanwhile, Hamilton examined the leaves in his hands.
“The Trident of Poseidon will be mine… And I just need to find Atlantis. It’s going to be sucked in with your help, which you can’t deny me because you belong to me, right?”
“Yes,” said a shadow behind Hamilton.
Edward Smith stood ready to obey Hamilton for his own good.
