“Are you sure about that?”
Tara asked Silver, of all the classes, she knew the least about berserkers and valkyries. She had been in countless battles and seen the large variety of how weak and strong a valkyrie can be. Tara might have seen a thousand valkyries in battle, but not many of them were able to utilize their class to the best usage.
Silver nodded slowly, he knew that his soul and body wished for the valkyrie class. So why should he hesitate any longer?
“Alright.”
After seeing Silver nod, Tara could only accept it.
“Follow me to the camp, I will personally give you guys the equipment and class which you picked.”
Tara said then turned around and walked away.
The twins behind her didn’t speak nor make any expression during the whole exchange, they only followed Tara and would only act on her orders.
Silver turned towards his group and let out a faint smile.
“Let’s go.”
As they were walking they could see the green plains and the blue sky. Ivar, Sylvia and Sarah could only gasp of the beautiful view, but they quickly put that thought away and followed Silver.
Sarah who managed to get a glimpse of Silver’s expression got slightly frustrated. She could clearly see that Ivar, Sylvia and she herself were glancing everyone and could only think of the amazing view. But, Silver himself were in deep thought with a small frown on his face.
How is he even able to keep himself calm during all these? He’s not even glancing at anything, what is he even thinking about?
Sarah was most likely only a year or two older than Silver, but she felt inferior to Silver in every single way since arriving to this world.
After walking for a couple of minutes they arrived near a camp with several raised white tents.
There stood guards with different type of weapons on their back, they didn’t feel strange when they saw Tara returning with four unknown people. That was mainly because this would regularly happen once a month.
Tara walked past the guards and headed towards the largest tent. She walked in and sat down on a chair behind a desk.
Silver glanced around the tent, seeing that it didn’t have lots of things in it besides lots of paperwork on the desk.
“Well…?”
He asked with a little smile on his face.
Tara smirked for a moment, she was somewhat getting excited because she hoped what she was going to do would make Silver react in some way.
She lifted her right hand up and then four different orbs appeared in her hand.
Ivar’s mouth went agape, Sylvia placed a hand in front of her mouth and widened her mouth and Sarah’s expression froze.
While seeing that, Tara smirk grew larger. When she glanced at Silver, her smirk froze, and her expression darkened.
“Ah, well, this is interesting enough, I guess.”
Silver said without showing any expression, even his eyelids were half-open, as he was about to sleep.
“If I’m not mistaken, these should grant us the abilities of the classes we picked, right?”
He let out a yawn as he was asking Tara.
Tara’s face twitched and her hand holding the orbs shook, almost letting the orbs fall from her palm. She gritted her teeth and asked Silver with an annoyed tone.
“Why do you never get surprised and how the hell can you guess almost everything!?”
At this time, even Sarah, Sylvia and Ivar glanced at Silver, wanting to know the answer. They of course felt themselves calmer when being near Silver, but if he wasn’t there they could only panic.
Silver glanced behind him, seeing that everyone was waiting for an answer. He let out a bitter laugh and shrugged.
“I don’t know.”
Before they could speak up, Silver continued speaking.
“Sylvia, Ivar and Sarah over there still have their memories intact. Let me ask you this then, have anyone who was brought here without any memories of their past?”
As he saw Tara shook her head, Silver continued.
“I on the other hand can’t remember anything.”
Tara widened her eyes for a moment.

“But, I have a feeling that these things which has been shown here so far should be common.”
Silver shook his head for a second.
“I don’t know why I feel these things are common even if I know they shouldn’t. Hehe, even I’m not sure why I can keep myself calm, but I know at least something.”
The more he spoke, the lower his voice became.
“There should be someone waiting for me.”
The last sentence Silver spoke was so low that he thought that no one could hear it. Silver shrugged once more and glanced at the orbs in Tara’s palm.
What Silver didn’t know was that behind him, Sarah’s body shook for a moment and her eyes shivered.
Someone’s waiting for him?
Sarah managed to hear Silver’s last sentence clearly.
“Yes, these are the classes for you.”
Tara absent-mindedly said.
“Hm… How do they work?”
Silver tilted his head a little and asked a real question for once.
Tara smiled bitterly.
“These were made by Goddess Velik. After having known that outsiders like you guys would arrive, she simplified the different classes we had in this world for those who wanted to fight by our side.”
“How do they work?”
Silver asked once more, even while not showing lots of emotions, he listened carefully to Tara’s words.
“After having placed this orb near your chest, it would absorb itself into your body.”
Tara said while being proud.
“These orbs which contains the classes would give you every ability of that class, but you wouldn’t be able to use them all before your body adapts to it.”
Silver raised his eyebrows slightly.
“You’re saying that we’re limited to the class because of our strength?”
“Yes.”
Tara nodded calmly, she has slowly getting used to Silver’s monstrous mental ability to adapt.
“This one is the lancer class.”
As Tara was speaking, she held out an orb which shined like steel.
Ivar stepped forward and accepted the orb. He didn’t place it near his chest at once because he saw Silver shook his head.
“Let’s do it together.”
Silver only left those words.
Ivar nodded and held the orb in his palm.
“Here’s the mystic class.”
The next orb was shining purple-ish and had an ominous aura.
Sylvia meekly stepped forward and took the orb from Tara.
“Berserker is the next now.”
The next orb was bigger than the rest and it had a strong pressure coming out from it.
Sarah didn’t bat an eye and grabbed the orb from Tara. Her eyes glittered for a moment as she was glancing at Silver.
“Well, here is the last class; valkyrie.”
Tara said so and glanced at Silver.
Silver stared at the last orb. The orb didn’t look special, but Silver felt that this orb was more fearful than the others. His breath grew heavier as he felt the orb was hiding an unbelievable power waiting for him.
He stepped forward and picked the last orb. He then turned towards Ivar, Sarah and Sylvia and nodded.
They all slowly placed their orbs near their chest and it slowly entered their bodies.
Keeping their eyes shut, they couldn’t think of anything else than the knowledge they were receiving.
Tara kept herself quiet as she knew this was important for them to fully understand their own class abilities.
Sylvia opened her eyes the first after two minutes, half a minute Ivar opened his eyes. Not a couple of seconds later, even Sarah opened her eyes.
They smiled as they could remember everything clearly. They then glanced as each other, seeing that they also had the same expression. Finally, their eyes landed on Silver’s body, they were slightly shocked when they saw him still having his eyes closed.
After two minute later, Silver opened his eyes. Feeling slightly embarrassed having everyone staring at him, he shrugged and asked.
“What are you guys staring at, a clown?”
“No, a monster…”
Sarah said as she was narrowing her eyes.
Everyone else nodded their heads multiply times, wanting to show how much they agreed with Sarah.
Silver’s eyes widened for a moment and his mouth agape by their reaction.
“It might be that my class just took longer, no need to worry about these things.”
He then turned towards Tara.
“Could we have equipments? And are there any place we could practice our new abilities?”
Tara nodded and stood up. She flicked her finger and four rings appeared. One was metallic, the second one one was purple-ish, the third one was thick and looked heavy while the last one looked quite simple.
“Just wear those rings and your mind should make a bond with the ring. You can at any time place things inside the rings and take them out, just remember the amount is limited and if you want a larger one you would have to pay for it yourself.”
They nodded and took their respective rings and wore it. After feeling a bond between themselves and the ring they could clearly sense there was an armour and a weapon in the ring.
With a thought, they wanted to summon the armour and the weapon.
“Woah!”
Their simple clothes changed with armour.
Ivar’s body was covered in a metallic armour with a shield and a lance behind his back.
Sylvia wore a purple-ish cloak with a small staff was placed near her waist.
Sarah wore a metallic armour almost as large as Ivar’s, but the main difference was that behind her back was a heavy axe larger than her body.
Silver was wearing a light armour; the armour was coloured in red and black. Behind his back was a large glaive, or to speak more correctly; a runeglaive suited only for valkyries.
The four of them stood there with their armour equipped and weapons on their backs with smiles on their faces.
