Suddenly a bright light appeared in the middle of a green plains, after half a minute, the light slowly faded away.
What replaced the light, were four humans; two males and two females. The four were all having a shocked expression on their face, all of them were wearing the same type of clothing, a simple brown cloth which covered their body.
Within the group of four people, only one of them was slightly calmer. He had a lean body and silver hair. After carefully glancing at that person, you could see that his age could only be near 20 and his eyes were dark as the night.
He glanced around, seeing the other three people which were wearing the same clothes as himself and the plains they were in.
As he was glancing around, he could see a large man with overgrown muscles on his body, a sweet looking young girl and another woman with slightly cold eyes.
He suddenly smiled faintly, not because of he knew something important, just that he saw they were all confused and shocked as he was initially. He opened his mouth and spoke with a natural tone.
“I see that you’re all confused, even I am myself. But, since we’re here together, let’s try to confirm a couple of things.”
When he finished speaking, the three others were startled, they did see that there were others like them there, but they didn’t think much of it.
“My name…”
The one with silver hair stopped as he was about to tell them his own name, but no matter how much he thought about it, he couldn’t remember it. He was slightly dispirited, but quickly found a nickname for himself.
“I don’t quite remember my name, but you could call me Silver until I remember my real name.”
“Can any of you remember anything before we arrived here?”
Silver asked the one question he wanted to ask the most; does everyone here not remember anything just like him, or was it only him?
The huge and burly man nodded slightly and spoke.
“My name is Ivar, my memories are fuzzy, but I remember that I was on my way to work before everything turned black.”
Ivar had blond hair and blue eyes which sparkled slightly in the light.
Near Ivar stood the sweet looking girl, she was intertwining her fingers as she glanced up towards Silver.
“I, I remember a little.”
Her voice was quite low, but she was managing to answer Silver. Her eyes were big, and the colour was green while her hair was in the middle of blond and brown.
“Sylvia is my name and I can remember walking home from school.”
Silver nodded slightly, looking at their age, Ivar seemed to be in his thirties while Sylvia in her late teens.
As he put that in the back of his mind, he glanced at the last person; the cold looking woman who seemed to be in her early twenties.
“Sarah.”
Sarah didn’t even glance at anyone than Silver, her eyes seemed to want to pierce through Silver, but she couldn’t figure out anything about him.
“The last thing I remember is walking from work.”
Sarah had long and black hair, reaching down to her waist.
Silver nodded before his eyes widened slightly, he lowered his head and was in deep thought.
Ivar, Sarah and Sylvia didn’t bother Silver when they saw him figuring out something.
Silver slowly raised his head and glanced at them before speaking.
“From what I can confirm, none of us are from the same place and we came here from different time periods.”
Before anyone could speak, he continued.
“I don’t speak of years in difference, but hours.”
Silver glanced towards Ivar.
“Ivar’s memories were during the morning. Sylvia, you said you were going home from school, which should be later than that. And, lastly, Sarah seemed to have walked home from work. Depending on the hour, she should have taken public transport or drive by herself, but we could most likely guess that it was very late when she finished her shift.”
After Silver finished speaking, everyone couldn’t help but feel slightly shocked. They were all in the same situation, in a different place with random people, but Silver managed to stay calm and figure out such information by just listening to their introduction.
Sarah slightly narrowed her eyes, but she really was surprised by the calmness Silver was showing.
Before they could even talk a little more, three people walked towards them from the horizon.

In the lead was a female with a white armour while standing behind her were two males in black armour and huge swords.
Silver stepped in front of the group and stared at the three, waiting for their arrival. He swiftly glanced at the three, their armour and weapons. A frown quickly appeared on his face which vanished the next second, he could only brace himself if something happened.
Ivar also saw it, but he didn’t step forward, his body was trembling slightly of the giant swords they were equipped with.
Sylvia’s body trembled fiercely, but she forced herself into raising her face and watch what was going to happen.
Sarah on the other hand tried her best in staying calm, she had also noticed the three people very early on, but she froze on her spot when she saw their weapons. But when she saw Silver walking in front of them and standing bravely there made her more courageous.
Without knowing why, Silver slowly placed his right hand towards his back.
After half a minute, the three quickly appeared in front of Silver and the rest. The female in the lead had red hair and big eyes which were shining brightly. The two men in the back seemed to be twins, they had the same face structure and grey hair.
The female stopped three meters from Silver and smiled brightly.
“Welcome!”
“I’m Tara, the captain of the camp on this island.”
“Camp?”
Silver asked while raising his eyebrows.
“Yes.”
Tara nodded and continued speaking.
“This island is one of the furthest areas from the Core. For the Alliance which was made of the several races on this continent, there’s lots of captains, I was one of the few who was appointed to protect an area.”
Silver nodded and lowered his head.
Tara didn’t speak, but she calmly glanced at Ivar, Sarah and Sylvia, but after finding them not acting, she could only wait for Silver’s response.
After ten seconds, Silver raised his head with a slight smile on his face as he was staring towards Tara.
“You mentioned you were a captain in the ‘Alliance’ made up from several races.”
Tara nodded, not knowing why Silver would speak of that.
“That surely means that the Alliance was made to fight against something or someone.”
Silver nodded as he didn’t even wait for Tara’s response.
“You did also mention that this island is one of the furthest areas from the ‘Core’, which means that this is a camp for recruits. Am I right or wrong?”
His faint smile slowly turned into a grin as he glared at Tara’s expression slowly change.
“Will we be forced to join your lovely ‘Alliance’, protect the rightful and kill the heinous enemies?”
The more Silver spoke, the worse Tara’s facial expression became. But, she quickly calmed herself down.
After hearing what Silver said, Sarah, Sylvia and Ivar quickly understood that the reason Silver explained was not only for confirming it, but to also let them know what was currently going on.
“No, we will not force any one.”
Tara which had finally calmed down spoke to Silver.
“The Alliance has promised to those who were not willing to fight would be given fifty gold coins and a house in a city of their own choosing.”
Silver raised his eyebrows and asked in surprise.
“Wait, this means that the Alliance wasn’t the ones who sent us here?”
Tara shook her head.
“We don’t know why, but from time to time, people would appear here after a bright light. After several people came, we quickly figured out that they were forced to come here. The Alliance swiftly held a meeting regarding this and declared that those who appeared could be given two choices to pick between, either the option where you can be given gold coins and a house or fight with us.”
Tara explained in detail, she would of course not lie as a captain of the Alliance.
Silver nodded and turned his head towards Sylvia, Ivar and Sarah.
“You heard her, you can either pick between fighting or leave peacefully…”
Silver’s tone became slightly strange when he said ‘peacefully’, but he meant what he said, it was their own choice.
Sarah thought for a couple of seconds.
Even if I live ‘peacefully’ as Tara and Silver mentioned, who knows for how long I can live here. And, Silver seems to hate that suggestion a lot…
Sarah stared at Silver as she asked.
“Silver, you’re going to fight, right?”
After seeing that Silver nodded, Sarah asked another question.
“Can I fight by your side?”
Sarah’s voice was slightly hurried, she knew that her best chance of in this new place would be near Silver who had several times showed his calmness and good points.
Silver nodded and said with a smile.
“Of course.”
“I do not believe that even if we pick that peaceful choice that it would be that simple. Hey Silver, would you mind having this old man following you too?”
Ivar quickly decided after hearing that Sarah wanted to follow Silver.
Sylvia might be younger than the rest, but she wasn’t stupid. She knew that Silver’s calmness was in regard to his confidence. Well, also that when she heard his strange tone when saying ‘peaceful’ did make her body tremble.
“I too want to join.”
Sylvia carefully glanced at Silver and voiced her thoughts.
Silver smiled and turned around towards Tara.
“We will fight…!”
Tara’s expression froze, her whole body was trembling. As she was watching the silver haired youth, she couldn’t place any importance to his clothing as everyone who appeared wore the same things. But, his whole being radiated with an aura which could have belonged to an ancient creature like the Gods…!
This!
Goddess Velik herself gave me this skill, she said that one day someone will appear who would shake the whole world.
I, I only thought it was only something she would say, but, but, this guy is totally frightening!
