Urizen,The Demiurge

TAK TAK TAK

As the Warhorses pulled the caravan carrying the disciples of The Thunder Law inside said caravan Ling Xuan who was sleeping woke up with a startle.

“Huh where am I ?” Linh Xuan noticed the unfamiliar location.

“Senior Brother, are you all right ?” A boy no younger than Ling Xuan asked him warily.

“Ah yes I’m alright.” To not arouse suspicion , Ling Xuan quickly assured the boy to which the latter said he was relieved and went away to do their own thing whatever it may be.

“What do you mean by suspicion? That boy wouldn’t know that you possess a speaking voice that wields powers far greater than he can think of now can they ?” The Computer asked.

“Huh ! How can you talk to me like this ?” Ling Xuan asked.

“Don’t try to be idiotic Carto.” Yet all Ling Xuan got was a short reprimand.

“No need to ask questions Carto, I know what you’re thinking. I had to create an informational program that replicates your actions using your memories as the medium for the last two days. I did that as for the time period your mentality was at the brink of collapse and if I hadn’t done that you probably would’ve gone insane.”

“Insane ! What do you mean?” Ling Xuan asked, stunned.

“Since The Library was going under renovation which by proxy meant your Soul, there was the real possibility of your complete and absolute end thus I had to put your Mind into rest.” The Computer revealed.

“Ah so that’s how it was.”

“Is the Library still under renovation ?”

“It had already completed its renovation a long time ago, I just won't allow you to enter it yet.”

“Why?”

“You don’t need to know, later you’ll know.”

Ling Xuan sighed as he realised that The Computer would say no more regarding the topic so he decided to change it.

“Finally you’ve realised it. I am currently preparing the information of what happened in the past two days and will send it to you in 3 2 1 and send!”

A mind piercing pain shook Ling Xuan as he clenched his teeth and endured the instantaneous information.

“And done.” As The Computer said this, the pain instantly vanished as if it never happened.

“So that is what happened hmm.” Ling Xuan quickly recounted the memories and saw that not a lot of events had occurred.

After the results were announced all the disciples were once again made unconscious and carried off to The Dragon Heart City, where they recuperated for a day before the respective Sect Elders arrived to take them to their sects.

Currently Ling Xuan was inside one of the five Caravans who were heading towards The Glorious Flag City which they would reach in about two days.

“Well looks like I’ll have to ask for your help during this trip eh?”

“Indeed I’ll once again launch the informational program and warp your perception of time.”

“Perception of Time? You mean that whenever I entered the library you cut off my perception of Time thus making it so I thought that Time didn’t function ?”

“Indeed you’re correct yet I didn’t cut off your perception of time, rather I stretched it, making it so that one second would equal an hour for you. If your perception was entirely cut off it would make you go insane and as your very perception of moments will be chaotic and changing every single instance, even now just warping your perception is subtlety causing damage to your mind.”

“Is that so, are there any other ways to mitigate the risk?” Ling Xuan asked.

“The other way of inducing a similar effect is Soul Sleep yet even that can affect the perception of Time with prolonged use thus the best way to not go insane is to take breaks between warps.” The Computer as expected gave a clear cut answer

“ I see, so what should I refer to you as ? I can’t just call you The Computer, it’s weird.” Ling Xuan asked The Computer.

“A name you say? Refer to me as Urizen.” An answer was given.

“Urizen, I think I’ve heard of that name somewhere.” Ling Xuan found the name familiar.

“That aside, I've already launched the program and you should start feeling sleepy.” Urizen changed the topic.

As Urizen stated Ling Xuan felt his body getting sleepy and rubbed his eyes and when he opened them again he saw that his environment had once again changed and before him was The Thunder Law Sect.

The entrance to the Thunder Law Sect was an imposing and majestic sight, radiating an aura of power and discipline. It was marked by a grand, traditional Chinese archway, crafted from rich red wood and adorned with intricate carvings that depict scenes of legendary martial feats and fierce thunderstorms. The archway's beams are supported by sturdy stone pillars, each etched with ancient symbols and characters that extol the virtues of strength and honour.

Above the archway, a large, ornate plaque bears the name "Thunder Law Sect" in bold, golden calligraphy, commanding respect and reverence from all who approach. The plaque is flanked by decorative eaves that curl gracefully upwards, their edges lined with small figurines of mythical creatures, adding an element of mystique to the structure.

Stone steps lead up to the archway, meticulously maintained and flanked by lush greenery and carefully pruned bonsai trees, symbolising the balance of nature and discipline that the sect embodies. On either side of the steps, guardian statues of thunder deities stand vigilant, their fierce expressions and poised stances serving as a reminder of the sect's formidable reputation.

Beyond the archway, a path lined with red wooden fences guides visitors deeper into the sect’s grounds, where the sounds of martial training and the scent of incense mingle in the air, creating an atmosphere charged with both serenity and latent power.

Additionally there beside him were the other four Caravans with the disciples coming out.

“Well well well this is quite literally the entrance to one of those sect entrances in those wuxia films.” Ling Xuan’s lips twitched as he saw the sight.
