A door, nothing more. The room was white all over. All i could see was a door that was filled with patterns that spread across the edge of the door. Was It Martian? No, more ancient.

My hands lifted towards the door as if it was being conyrolled. I was speaking something, but i couldn't hear what i was saying. The patterns started to shine as brighter as i speak. After waiting, my hands moved forward and touches the handle...

"Cade!"

My eyes opened wide as mother woke me up. Her face looked pale, Almost as if she was something horrifying. As i grasped my conciousness fully, i realised that i was sweating excesively to the point my clothes are soaked.

"Cade, look at me! Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah"

"You looked like you had a nightmare"

"I'm fine mom"

Mother looked at me with worried on her eyes. "Alright then, come have breakfast".

"Alright"

We decided to forget about it and just have breakfast like we always do. The dream i just has felt different than any other dream i experienced. It felt so, real. ofcourse, it might just be a normal dream.but, i have a feeling that it's not.

"You look pale, what happened?" Father asked

"Nothing, just a dream"

He sighed in believe knowing that it's only a dream, nothing else

The day went pretty fast. I spent it on reading books and novels to entertain myself since there was no training today.

In a distance, i Saw an army in black space suit with plasma guns and swords followed by warships that striked their misilles on the buildings and houses, they were the Martians.

I grabbed my sword, although just a wooden sword it can still do damage because of the sharpness in it's edges.

"Hail the great Martian Kaiser!" the Martian general shouted.

"Hail Kaiser, hail Kaiser, hail Kaiser!" Shouted all of them at the same time. Their shouted kept getting louder as they shot and stabbed the civiliance.

My legs began running, as if it was being controlled.

I dashed towards a Martian soldier and immediately striked his leg which Made him fall on his knees. I aimed for the back of his neck and hit it until he went unconcious. I grabbed his plasma gun and began shooting other soldiers.

"Need backup. i repeat, we need backup-"

Bang

Another one down. Lookes like this area is now clear.

'!!, Amy'. I completely forgot about her. Where is she?

I ran towards her house, trying to find her. But then, i Saw her house on falmes. Nothing was left, not even a picture of her.

"I was too late" dammit, if only i was a faster. Now she's gone.

"You there! Hand in the air, now!"

A Martian soldier appeared behind me as i regretted not coming here on time.

"Bastard, do you not hear me!? Hands on the air now!"

My hand clenched itself and my eyes began to glow bright red. I turned back and looked at the soldier.

"You...."

As i said those words, the soldier's body suddenly became heavier.

'what the hell?' the soldier thought. 'what's going on-'

Before the soldier was even able to think, he was faced with a devastating punch on the nose. The punch resulted in the soldier pushed to a wall.

Cadegrabbed the soldier's plasma gun walked to him and stomped on his shoulder. With eyes that spreaded murderous intent, He pointed his gun on the soldier's head and asked "where are the civiliance that lived here?..."

The soldier coughed up blood and slowly raised his hand, he gave a smirk and looked up to Cade "screw you" while raising his middle finger. With anger filled eyes, Cade shot him without any hesitation and the soldier instantly died.

"damn it!" Cade shouted. he could've prevented it, he could've saced the civiliance, he could've saced Amy, but he didn't. Tears came running down as his mind was filled with regret.

As he looked up, he can see the night sky shining as brightly as it can. Remembering the time he spent with Amy looking up at the star. The star became more vague and began covering the world in black.

"What the hell!?"

When his surrounding became fully black, he also began to see white line's that eventually continued itself to shape the building around him with line's, almost like a drawing. The white line began to shape itself again and began to shape itself into a person. Not long after he realised that those figured were the people around him.

"!!"

He suddenly thought of an idea that night work. He cleared his mind and started to think about Amy.

The white line began to shape itself into looking like Amy little by little. It showed Cade where Amy was and how far she was.

She was going inside a warship, a big one at that. He took the soldier's jet pack and flown himself as fast as he can to the warship.

Not long after, he finally arrived somewhere near the warship. As the perimeter was filled with martians, he decided to take a long shot and aim shot the wings of the warship that were containing the stolen Aridorns.

"What the hell!?" One of the martians shouted.

As they all gathered up on the broken wing, i managed to go inside the warship.

Inside the ship i Saw many Aridorns that were locked up and scared, from kids to adults.

"H-help" said a kid that looked terrified. I immediately tried to open the cell, but the door uses a fingerprint to unlock it. But as i touches the door, my eyes began to glow bright red again and somehow Made the lock malfunctioning which unlocked the door. With this knowledge, i unlocked the doors one by one.

The last Cell that i need to open.

Pzzzt

As the Cell door malfuntioned, the door opened. In front of me, there was 10 year old girl with arms wraped around her legs.

"Amy?" I said calmly and vervously, hoping that the person infront of me was who i think it was.

She lifted her head which revealed her blood red hair, and Rubby eyes. Tears came running her cheeks aa she rushed towards me, extending her hand, and hugged me. Her hands were shaking and her tears began to soal up my clothes.

"Cade....." She said while sobbing on my shoulders. I wraped my hand around her and said silently "sorry. I'm late"

This is not the time to be emotional

"Amy listen closely, i need you to get out of here with the other Aridorns"

"What about you?" She asked with a face that showed worried all over it.

"I'll take care of them"

Why

"How!? Do you know how many Martians are here!?" She shouted.

"Listen" i grabbed both of her shoulders and said calmly "i have a plan. Do you trust me?"

She went silent for a while and finally said "yes" while looking down on the ground.

"Good, now take the others away before the Martians get here"

She nodded her head and began running towards the other martians. Just as i was running towards the control room, Amy shouted from a far distance

"Cade!"

I turned back to see that she stopped running and was shouting something.

She gathered her breath and shouted "don't die"

.....even in the darkest moment, you always find ways to surprise me. I gathered my breath and shouted "i'll try my best not to die, you should too!"

She looked at me with tears in her eyes as she stood her ground trying not to laugh. She turned around to go to the other Aridorns and lead them out.

'geez, even now you're also still a crybaby' i thought to my self. But i might have lived when i said that i wouldn't die. Sorry Amy, this is the only way.

As i arrive at the control room, i used the ship's security system to make sure the martians have safely evacuated. After making sure they were evacuated, i activated the ship's speaker mode and said..

Greetings martians. i, the residence of the planet Aridorn am here to say.... GET YO STINKY BLACK ASS, BALD ASSYMETRICAL HEAD, STINKY ODOR, YELLOW ASS TEETH, SIGMA WANNABE, AND YO SCOOBY DOO LOOKING ASS OUT OF HERE!

"..........."

"Get him!" Shouted the general. The whole crew came inside the ship and quickly Made it on to the control room which Made me not able to escape.

"It's over kid, there's No escape"

I smirked and activated the flight system' on the warship which caught them off guard. I aimed for the warship to go Higher and higher.

"Arrogant child"

[Gravitational balance Activated: 50%]

"There's no where to run"

I pointed my gun at him and changed my direction to the ship's closed entrance.

"Wait. You! Stop!" Shouted the general, trying to stop me.

Bang

As the entrance was blown apart, numerous soldiers tried to hold on but couldn't and fell to shaterred entrance.

"You got me there for a second" the general said while smirking "you can't anything now"

"Yeah, except this". Without any hesitation, i Pressed the self destruct button.

"No! What have you done!?" The general shouted.

I look at him with statisfaction in my eyes "if IM going to die, i'm taking you with me". And finally......

The warship exploded and caused a shock wave that was far enough to reach Amy.

She looked back and Saw tha war ship that Cade was in, exploring, turned to bits. Her face turned pale and her hands began shaking.

"Cade!!!!!!" She shouted.
