Alurius lay resting in a robe made of purple silk, her silver eyes fluttered opened as she was awakened from her slumber by a timely disturbance. She sat up in her bed, her gaze drawn to the darkened corner of her room as arcane energies begin to tear open a portal there. The force stirring her sheets and robe like a wind. Confused she swirled her fingers readying a arcane blast for any who dared set foot in her bedroom...then it finally opened. A demonic figure carrying another in his arms appeared before her, his appearance familiar yet still mysterious. The figure was one a large one with claws, fangs, and tucked away wings similar to the other he carried in his arms. His gaze found Alurius not a word being spoken as he stared into her very soul, Alurius held her attack idlily in her hand as she awaited the creature's next move.
The creature spoke a few unintelligible words, placed the one he held onto the floor, and vanished back through the portal. Alurius sat there for a few moments in her moonlit room staring at the unconscious one that was now on her floor.
She quickly climbed out of bed to inspect the unconscious one. The creature now upon her floor was clearly of the opposite sex of the one that carried her. Though in contrast she looked starved and took very shallow breaths. A handful of thoughts raced through Alurius mind none of which helped explain what had just occurred however given this creature was placed under her care, she would do her best to help it.
Alurius at first tried to lift the creature but she realized immediately this was a fools errand...it was much larger then her and any Elf she had ever laid eyes on; assistance would be required. She huffed, swirling her hand, gathering the energy required so that she could form a arcane being beside her. The energies would begin to take shape illuminating the darkened room with a white glow, the being quickly formed and looked to her awaiting a command.

She pointed to the unconscious woman upon the floor, the arcane blob giving her a nod before lifting with ease. It looked back to it's master awaiting further commands. Alurius strode towards her bedroom doors and out them; looking both ways only spotting her guards and the spare bedroom she would use. She led her being to the spare room, opened the doors, and directed the creature be placed in bed. Next she would form a shield around the bed containing the woman and next instruct the being to remain there until she returned.
Alurius knew not of what hour it was but a meal would have to be prepared and books read if she was to identify the creature that was brought to her it would be a long night.
As the hours of night ticked by Alurius would first start in the house's library. There she searched countless pages of a elven bestiary looking for any information on the creature. This was private collection where she had gathered several sets of books filled with knowledge of centuries past; if the creature could be identified this would be the way to do it.
As dawn came the library quickly filled with Elven patrons Alurius que to go and find her Chefs. A unique feast must be prepared one that contained several kinds of food and one which would ideally raise her guest from their slumber. The Chefs were intrigued by Alurius request excited to challenge their culinary skills in such preparation. Alurius instructed them to deliver it to the guest bedrooms and continued on her way so she could get dressed.
