Fujika was watching the beautiful sunrise from the balcony of her room. She had been staying as a guest of the royal family for close to a month, but she never failed to appreciate the beauty of the scenery from her balcony, which gave her a bird's eye view of the Cameron Capital.
She currently worked within the Royal Palace, as an assistant to the royal family's personal doctor, who treated everyone within the palace. Fujika loved her new life in Cameron. In this country, peace was prevalent, even the war between Nirvania and Miran had not troubled its borders.
Moreover, within the palace, everyone was like family regardless of social standing, since everyone followed the lead of the royal family, who eschewed humility and mutual respect. Fujika's thoughts were broken by the sound of knocking on her door.
It was Gilbert, Prince Arthur's butler. In his hands were a saucer with a cup of tea on top. Gilbert said warmly, "Good morning, my lady. Here's your usual milk tea with no sugar, enjoy." Fujika replied, "Thanks, Gilbert." as she took a sip of tea as its aroma entered her nose.
Gilbert bowed respectfully before asking politely, "In truth, I have a favour to ask from you, Lady Fujika, or should I say, Violet?" Fujika was alarmed when she heard her past alias and made no attempt to disguise her surprise.
Gilbert closed his eyes and said calmly, "So it's true. The information which I obtained from my contacts in the underworld. Don't be too surprised, I used to be the bodyguard of the current King of Cameron, so I had to have an information network to identify threats early.
My lady, I must say that you've quite the notorious reputation, being a senior executive of the dark guild, Night Wing. I've heard plenty about your expertise in Water magic, but your Enigma Ability intrigues me even more."
Fujika said nervously, "What exactly do you want, Gilbert? Please don't force my hand, I'd hate to revert to my old ways." Gilbert replied calmly, "Now, now. Don't get so tight, my lady. I know from this one whole month spent with you that you've no ulterior motive in being here and that you really want to change your life for the better.
I can tell whether a person is up to no good by observing their eyes for a protracted period of time. After keeping a close watch on you all this time, I've come to the conclusion that you mean no harm, for your eyes shone of benevolence and true kindness."
Fujika calmed down slightly and whispered, "You knew all along of my past identity. Why bring it up now?" Gilbert replied, "I've caught wind that Prince Arthur, Lady Merlin and the Round Table Knights are about to embark on a mission of high importance. Therefore…"
Merlin explained as she pointed towards an area on a map marked with an 'X', "We all know that the pirates on the Southern Isles have been our greatest security threat these past few years. However, it was only recently that the pirate threat ballooned to epic proportions, as they managed to acquire magic weapons, weapons of a variety unseen before.
With these weapons, the pirates have been able to repeatedly invade our shores and pillage our towns, hurting both our innocent citizens and our economy. Repeatedly sending members of the Round Table Knights to defend our people is not a long term solution. We need to attack this problem at its root!
Fortunately, our scouts have finally pinpointed the location of the source of these magic weapons. They believe, after observing the routes taken by the pirates in trafficking these arms, that the weapons factory is located here, on Blackrock Island! It shouldn't come as a surprise as Blackrock Island is inhospitable, yet it is rich in minerals and resources necessary in the construction of weapons.
The only missing piece of the puzzle is the magic source of these weapons, as the construction of magic weapons require a powerful source of mana. Nonetheless, I believe we can all agree that the destruction of this factory should be our utmost priority right now!
However, it won't be easy as our scouts have also reported that they witnessed a huge number of pirate ships amassing in these waters. It is possible that the pirates have struck some sort of alliance with each other and their headquarters is in close proximity to the weapons factory.
Therefore, I advise against bringing a huge fleet to assault Blackrock Island, for we could incur a huge number of unnecessary casualties. Instead, I propose that only those present for today's meeting participate in the assault. What do you think, your Highness?"
Arthur scratched his chin in deep contemplation as the Round Table Knights nodded in agreement. After taking his time to consider, Arthur said resolutely, "Very well. The 8 of us should be more than enough to lay waste to the weapons factory. After all, our key aim is not to completely eradicate the pirates, at least not for now, but solely to remove their fangs. With Lady Merlin's Enigma Ability and all of your strength, I'm confident that we'll succeed! Glory to Cameron!"
Everyone present reciprocated Arthur's gesture as Merlin concluded the meeting. After everyone has left the room, Arthur whispered gently, "You know, the people here aren't fools, they knew that you meant no harm so they didn't say anything about your uninvited presence, my dear."
From behind a pillar a few feet above the ground, Fujika revealed herself, as she stepped out of the shadows and landed gently onto the ground. Arthur berated her softly, "You know, even as my beloved and esteemed guest of this palace, you shouldn't be poking your nose everywhere, especially in the sensitive affairs of Cameron. I know you were pretty strong after that incident with those pirates in the village then, but I didn't know you could be pretty sneaky too. Just don't do it again, ok?"
Fujika simply spoke her mind, "I'm coming with you, Arthur. Unless you don't trust me to take care of your back?" Arthur broke into cold sweat in the face of Fujika's unexpected request before composing himself once again.

Arthur said grimly, "Now, my love, I know you're strong but I can't risk your safety in such a dangerous mission. We're entering the tiger's lair, you know? Sorry, but I can't afford to bring you along for such a risky mission."
Fujika grabbed Arthur's hands and held them tightly, "It's precisely because it's dangerous that I insist on tagging along! My medical skills, honed with the help of Dr Chimney, would be vital in ensuring everyone survives! Please, I beg you, take me along so that I can watch everyone's backs!"
Arthur thought long and hard before finally relenting, sighing, "Alright. However, you must be by my side at all times, so that I might keep an eye on you." Fujika beamed as she turned and gambolled away, leaving Arthur to shake his head in helplessness.
The next day, everyone gathered on a small ship with an unfurled sail on time, with no one being surprised at Fujika's uninvited presence on the ship. One of the Round Table Knights, Sasha whispered to her fellow Knight, Alderon, "Can she be trusted? We only know her for a month at most."
Alderon replied bluntly, "If Prince Arthur trusts her, then so will I." Sasha shot Fujika a distrustful look as another Knight, Firen, tried to distract her, chuckling, "Come on, we're all in this together, we ought to have faith in each other, right? Cynthia, Zexel, Krow?"
The 3 remaining Knights nodded slightly as Zexel readied his weapon. Putting his hand on the hilt of his katana, Zexel whispered, "Unseen and deadly, [Zephyr]!" Zexel's katana transformed into a sword with an invisible blade. Invisible it was to most eyes, but in the eyes of all the experienced combatants on board, they could see the sharpness of the rapidly circulating air blade.
This was [Zephyr], the S-Class Wind elemental weapon. With a swing of his weapon, Zexel created a huge gust that propelled the ship forward to its destination, as quickly as the wind would bring them. Upon reaching, Zexel docked the ship behind a huge rock out of sight from possible sentries on Blackrock Island, dropping the anchor as everyone present gathered in a circle.
Merlin then used her Enigma Ability, [Constellation Gate], to teleport everyone a fair distance from their vessel onto Blackrock Island, successfully bypassing the sentries. Firen remarked excitedly, "What luck, this pompous-looking building emitting hot gases from its chimney should be the weapons factory we're looking for. Let's go!"
The Cameron taskforce began their infiltration as they successfully entered the weapons factory undetected. As they ventured deeper, they observed the inner workings of the factory, including the manufacturing process of the accursed weapons, before they finally decided to take action...
It was a large harbour, housing at least 50 frigate-sized ships. What made it even more impressive was the fact that the harbour was constructed by carving a hole right through a gigantic rock beside the coastline, thus offering the ships docked within it protection from extreme weather.
The harbour was bustling, not with trade, but with piracy as pirates paced up and down urgently, as though preparing for a large scale naval battle. Deeper within the harbour stood a congregation of pirates, all armed to the teeth with magic weapons that gave a disconcerting sensation.
These pirates were the Captains of their respective ships, and they had assembled to discuss the plan of action one last time before they set sail. The most prominent pirate, who was issuing orders, was dressed in simple orange garb, but the rings on his fingers as well as ear rings were testament to his affluence.
This man, who sported spiky yellow hair styled like a Mohawk, was the leader and captain of the Great Pirate Armada, Gold Lion. He was notorious worldwide, being wanted for a heavy bounty that would bring one riches beyond his imagination.
Even Kingdoms like Nirvania and Miran sought to hunt him down, but they always lost trace of his whereabouts, for he is known as the 'Flying Pirate'. Together with his First Mate, Silver Crane, his 'Flying Pirates' have become a force to be reckoned with in the seas.
After finishing his brief on the plan, Gold Lion snarled, "Any questions?" One pirate captain nervously asked, "Boss, it's not that we doubt your ability, but don't you find that it's too early for us to launch an assault on Cameron? I mean, each ship is not fully armed with these powerful magic weapons, so why not delay the attack a little further? This way, our forces would be better prepared to take on an organised navy like Cameron's."
A man with grey hair and a lean figure, Silver Crane, advised, "Well, it's better to strike while the iron's hot, while Cameron's still unaware of the strength of our combined military might-" Silver Crane was interrupted by Gold Lion, who walked towards the defiant pirate with an aura of dread.
When Gold Lion was right in front of the poor pirate, he placed a hand gently on the shoulder of the pirate and whispered into his ear so softly that nobody could hear what was mentioned. Silver Crane closed his eyes and gave a resigned expression, as though he knew what was to come.
Suddenly, the pirate flew into the air, smashing his head against the stone ceiling. To everyone's horror, it didn't stop there, as it appeared that there was some upward force pressing the pirate against the ceiling, causing it to crack under pressure. Eventually, the ceiling broke under pressure and the pirate rocketed into the air, out of sight.
Gold Lion remarked as he snapped his fingers, "What goes up must eventually come down. Anyone else wants to fly?" as the unfortunate pirate crashed hard onto the ground through the hole he had created earlier.
None of the remaining pirates dared to offer any word of resistance as they hurried along to make their final preparations. Just as the pirates were scattering away from their leader, two new individuals approached Gold Lion.
One was very skinny and dressed completely in black, loose clothing while the other was rather tall and solidly built, the marks on his cheeks resembling gills. The latter also had spiky navy blue hair and appeared to be a menacing bodyguard with that huge great sword behind his back which was as long as he was tall.
The man in black spoke first, "How're the final preparations going? Are the men ready to lay waste to Cameron to their hearts' content?" Gold Lion immediately bowed respectfully, "Ah, if it isn't Sir Terence! Accompanied by Sharkan again, I see? Yes, the final preparations are complete and we're ready to set sail at any time! On your command, sir!"
Terence gave a wry smile and commended, "Good work. Your efficiency is impressive. I wish you all the best." Gold Lion replied bashfully, "You lavish too much praise, sir. Let's not forget that without your Enigma Ability, we wouldn't be possessing so many magic weapons. It's all your credit that the weapons factory is a resounding success!"
Suddenly, a young junior pirate rushed in front of Gold Lion. "B-Boss…the factory's u-under attack!" the pirate stammered. Gold Lion cringed in fury before ordering, "Silver Crane, we've got to go! There're some annoying rats to flush out in our precious factory! Don't worry, Sir Terence, we would make sure that the factory is secure, you don't have to lift a finger. Let's go!"
Gold Lion, Silver Crane and a few trusted men stormed towards the weapons factory, leaving Terence and Sharkan alone. When they were confident no one was listening, Sharkan jested sarcastically, "Shishishi, you aren't at all concerned about those pirates, right? To you, they are merely disposable tools eh?"
Terence smiled and replied calmly, "Our goals align for now. Once they've served their purpose, I'll naturally rid myself of these louts. Anyway, the final stone has been set. Even if the factory is destroyed now, even if the Pirate Armada fails in their conquest, we will not be hindered! Hahaha! Glory to Lord Jiro, my benefactor! Glory to Lord Astaroth! Hail the Chaos Legion, leaders of tomorrow!"
