It has been half an hour since I've been stuck inside the gelatin cavern, and I am starving

The blobs themselves haven't found me yet but with my continuous rumbling, they're bound to find me

I grit my teeth as my body rumbled again, maybe I shouldn't have ignored it before...

I stared at the blobs around me. They don't seem to have any eyes... flesh or any organ at that

It was weird seeing unexplained creatures roaming about, am I even in real life anymore? Are they some alien species or something?

Or was it just a transparent blob of gelatin?

My body rumbled again, are they perhaps edible like gelatin too?

I immediately shook my head. If I happen to do that... I might get the same fate as those rats

I shivered

"Ahhh all this talk about gelatin is making me hungry..."

'Since they have no eyes... maybe I could make a run for it? No! What if they have some different way of seeing! Echolocation or some bullsh*t'

'Do they just sit there and wobble around? Or is that how they communicate, maybe...'

As I strained my head for something I could use to escape, a perculiar blob made its presence known to me

'How do they even reproduce actually? I see nothing dangling or anything sugestiv-'

"Eeeek!" I gasped, my eyes widened and I rushed to cover my mouth

I looked down and trembled when I see what it was. A gelatin blob!

"G-get away...!" I whisper yelled at the blob and gestured it away

I grabbed my spear and clumsily stabbed it with the sharp end. If it appeared any signs of being hurt, it surely is hiding them well

The blob did not even react!

I tried yanking it back out but it seemed stuck. On the other hand, the slime seemed to be excited as it wobbled in place

It gobbled my spear up and I dropped it in suprise. The spear inside cycled around before being spit out

"F*ck..." I cursed as the spear grazed my cheek, leaving a clean cut

The slime wobbled

'A m-monster!' I stared agasp at the blob, my body fell to the floor as inched away from it

'Calm down! Calm down! Calm down!' My breath became hasty as the slime reached my foot

"Sh*t!!!" I lost my composure and punched at the blob

My fist went through its skin and into its inners, I then readied my other hand to punch again but then I saw something... unique

"Woah..." Th- the slime! It was cleaning my arm!

It was only this time that I realized that I punched with my injured arm, not the other

The horrid wound is being cleansed with

no signs of the toilet paper, the blood around it is being cleansed away as well as it drifts off from the wound

I glanced at the happily wobbling blob, 'It's kinda... cute?'

The slime then tried to gobble up my whole arm

"F*ck! Not cute at all!" I yelled and shaked my arm frantically, hoping to get it off. It did and landed down the ground

I then realized, I have shouted

'Really not cute...!' My mind raced at all possible escapes I could use. My heart thumped at seeing all the blobs while my body shaked slightly

I stared at the blobs, they weren't moving as far as I could tell. They were just wobbling in place

'What are they playing at!? Was this some trick to let me lower down my guard!? I'm not falling for that!'

It was yet again another round of silence, the slimes did not react to me at anyway or even acknowledge my existence other than the slime that cleaned my arm

I slowly relaxed a bit, seeing this I said "Hello...?"

The slimes did no motion to greet me back... I glanced towards the lake. No reaction there either

"Huh... Now I feel stupid"

I stared a bit then slowly walked to the entrance

I poked my head out in search for any rats, but then I furrowed my brows in disgust. There was so much carnage...

Blood splattered all across the walls, Rats with mangled bodies littered the floor and there some that was just a pulpy mess of flesh

My mouth retched and I think I'm going to- "Blergh!!!!"

Yellow liquid ejected itself within my mouth, I clutched my stomach and waited until it's over

After it's done I glared at the puke as I wiped my mouth with my hand "My stomach is now emptier than before.... hmm?"

I noticed a perculiar blob crawling besides me

The blob rushed to my puke and fatten itself up with it

"Disgusting..."

I ignored the blob and step out the cavern, my head glanced back again at the lake and I quickly started walking

The huge blob is still in there afterall

I didn't look back nor did I observe the mangled corpses, I went straight to where I came from and locked my self within the restroom

"Escaped!" My back slides down the door

I never thought I'd escape that huge monstrosity but I did and I really did!

My stomach grumbled

"Right... Still hungry"

I stand upright and search my bag for food, at this point, my bag is trashed for all the searching I have done

I searched all the pockets, even my wallet and pencil case but to no avail. I got nothing

"What!? Where's my food? I swore I brought my lunch bu-..." I fell silent

I forgot my lunch box...

"Stupid f*ck!" I punched myself in the face

Why did I forget my lunch!? Now I don't even have anything t- "Aarrggghhh"

My stomach grumbled

"What am I gonna eat...?" I sighed and sprawled on the floor

"Ow" I winced as a sharp pain came from my back, right... the glass shards

Just more problems after more problems

I didn't make any motion to shift and take the shard out, preferring to laze about and be depressed

I failed doing what I wanted to do...

A sigh escaped from my lips as I slowly sit on the floor, I scratched my back, flicking off the shard that got stuck in there and search my bag again

"Huh? What the f*ck are you doing here!" I yelled

The blob was back! And now it's gobbling up all my stuff

"Wait no no no! That sh*t cause me a lot of money!" I carried my bag and dumped it's contents on the floor

The blob fell with a 'pop' sound as I glared at it in the distance

Then I saw a shiny shimmer of plastic inside the blob's inners, A f*cking candy bar!!!

"Mine!" My eyes shone and I quickly snatch the candy bar before the blood decided to turn it to pulp

I ripped it open and finished it all in one bite, I didn't care to chew it so I just swallowed it whole

"Mmmm yes! That's the stuff" I hummed in satisfaction

The slime drooped low however..

"What? That candy bar is mine!" I showed my tongue at it

It wobbled and proceeded to gobble up one of my notebooks, I moved to rebel but when I saw what subject it was I changed my mind

It was math "Eh whatever"

But I can't just let this weird creature live in my... home!

The creature in question was roaming around the room, gobbling up all the glass shar- "F*ck no!!!"

I reached for the bag and before it could eject all the shards, I covered it with the bag!

Numerous sharp tips came a moment later

"Whew..." I sighed and let go of the bag, the shards clattered to the floor as I do

"Out!" I pushed the blob out of the room, opened the door and closed it on the blob

"Well atleast I don't have to clean all the shards up"
