"F*CK!!!" I throw away my phone against the mirror

Both objects cracked upon impact, sending several shards that littered the air

One pierced my skin but I shrugged it off as I scratched my head in a frenzy

That was my last hope...! And now? I don't have any left!

"Hahahahhhhaah....." I laughed as I took a few steps back, causing my back to meet the wall

"Just Why..." I let myself fell down

I have been stuck here for hours and I have tried everything I could have done! My eyes felt sore while my voice feels dry and my stomach is churning from all of my efforts

"Raaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!" I yelled like a lunatic

I might have attracted some rodents or some other kinds of creatures out there, but I did not care. The door is locked anyway

There's no here to keep me company, no one to ask for help and no shoulder to cry on

I just wanted a smoke! Some quiet and a piece of mind! And now... I'm stuck here whining like a baby!

All my efforts have been useless and the only thing I haven't tried yet is...

I glanced at the door

"Maybe..." No, I shook my head

I raised my injured arm up, the toilet paper had been soaked red from the blood and although the bleeding stopped. I need to replace it soon

I glanced back again at the door

Just thinking about what happened back then makes my arm stings...

I stared at the door with an intense focus as I slowly stand back up and with a motivated gaze. I walked near the door

My hand twisted the handle and pulled it open

It was... still the same, but I know that already. I have tried before

Dark, uneven and smelly. The three familiar traits greeted me open. I looked towards the corner where the rat had stayed before

It is dark so I don't know wether it returned or not and now that I threw away my phone. I can't use it as a flashlight, great...

I stared hesitant but my feet cautiously entered the uneven ground

'Maybe I should carry something as a weapon first? before venturing out there...'

I rushed back to the restroom almost immediately, searching for something that can be used as a weapon

I walked towards my bag, hoping that I atleast carried some scissors

'crackkkk' I looked down, something got crushed beneath my feet

It was colorless and small, a bit shiny even though there was close to zero light in here

It is a glass shard

I bent down to retrieve it, inspected it a little and then rubbed my finger slowly at the edge

"Ow!" I winced as a small cut have been made

It lets out a trickle of blood but the amount is small so I didn't give it any attention

This got me thinking though....

I looked around for some more, founding a mop and a bucket

"Hmmm...." I stared at the things I found

I grabbed the mop, swinging it around like some kid. Then I snap it in half

I settled them down in the floor as I grabbed a glass shard and used it to cut a couple of the mop's hair thingy

Using the hair of the mop, I tied the shard around the other half of the mop. The one without the hairs

"There! A makeshift weapon" I hummed in satisfaction

I then used another one of the hairs to tie my hair in a ponytail, grabbed the bucket and used it to cover my head

"And then a makeshift helmet"

I rubbed my face with a toilet paper and used some of the finished rolls as some kind of a wrist protection

Now I'm ready

I exited the restroom and faced the dark pathways... there are two way I can go, left or right

I stared a bit, pondering what to do "Left is always right anyways..." I mumbled and turned left. My hand gripped my 'spear' tighter as I walked

'Maybe there's something out there that can give me questions...?' A sigh escaped my lips

I took a couple of glances towards my back and at every direction there is, so far, nothing weird is moving...

The cave... was kinda peaceful, it is quiet and there are no one to disturb me...

But then again I might be tricking my self to be positive

I looked infront of me again, wondering if there's an exit anywhere, might be too good to be true if there was

I shook my head

I shouldn't be distracted right now, there might be so-

Suddenly, frantic steps came towards my back and a familiar shrill as well

"Skreeeeee!"

I flinched and immediately looked back, my eyes widened at the same time

The-there are hundreds of rats running towards me!

"Skreeeeee!!!" They yelled and I started running away

"Sh*t! Sh*t! Sh*t!" A barrage of curses left my mouth as my heart thumped in panic

I didn't have any time to wonder why they are chasing me and just ran without care for any uneven ground

The rats were catching up! I groaned and increased my pace some more

Then I slipped...

I F*CKING SLIPPED

Thunderous shrills and shrieks roared from behind me as I tried to scramble my way up

Too late

A few of the rats reached me and climbed my back, causing me to slip back down again

My 'helmet' flew and I was left with no head protection, I rushed forward with my arm and protected my face from the rocks

It hurts and I think my bandage came undone

I clenched my 'spear' tighter and tried to attack but a dozen of rats are already near me and trampled me down. Their countless shrieks making me go deaf

I expected them to bite and claw at me till I turn into a bloody pulp

But nothing came...

"F*cccckkk" I groaned and forced my way out of the rats, I grabbed a few that latched on my clothes and threw them away

My hands clenched the spear tighter than ever, as I tried to look for what's causing them to panic

"What the f*ck is that!?" It just was one suprise after another

There is a big gelatinous ball monstrosity causing havoc among the rats, it gobbled them up and then proceeded to spit it back at them at full force

There was a sickening crack of bones as the rats trampled upon each other. Their screams were gruesome

I looked at my spear 'What does this even do!?'

I grit my teeth and scrambled away like the rats, my feet stomped upon them but I continued onwards

My head didn't turn to look back, in fear my skull would break when a rat is suddenly thrown at my face

There were times I almost slipped but I just grit my teeth, clenched my fist and spear and force through it!

"F*cckk" I started to loose my breath and my legs starting to ache

My injury started bleeding again. The toilet paper rolled on it, got lost ages ago

Then my eyes widened 'A cavern!'

I lost any sense of sanity from me and ran like a madman towards the wide opening

It was glowing a strange light blue glow, making it easy for me to spot. I beat the rats to it and entered the cavern before them

Then I cursed

It was filled with the same gelatinous blobs that were chasing the rats.... although much smaller

They didn't react to my sudden arrival, but I didn't let down my guard and look for some place to hide

The cavern was filled with foliage and there was a lake in the middle. I leaped into one of the foliage and hope for the best

I stared at the entrance, I heard the rats coming but strangely... they did not come

And then there came the big gelatin itself, its inners were transparent and I could see countless of dead rats within

It spits them out without any hesitation and then with a wobble...

It entered the cavern

I stared with a bated breath, the monstrosity was far lager than the opening itself! But it entered with ease

My body trembled when it came near, but it didn't seemed to notice me and submerged itself on the lake

It then slowly disappeared without a trace like a white orbeez

I blinked and a wave of relief washes over me. I looked around and saw the countless gelatinous blobs that filled the area

How am I gonna get out!?
