Chapter 6-Lysa's Homeland

With a thoughtful caress of her hair, Lysa pondered.

Her slender fingers caressed a smooth white stone in her left hand, she had been using it to sharpen her blade with small, efficient swipes. The sword's edge gleaming in the sun.

"It's a strange place," she began finally. "Most of our people join the army from the age of ten. We spend our days expanding our territory, taking what we desire from neighboring lands, It's a glorious thing really, it is how most of us acquire our first homes."

Lysa paused for a while eyes gazing at the heavens above, the sea wind picking up her thinly braided hair hair and whipping it about, "I didn't realize how different it was until I encountered another land, one that valued peace, life, land, love. I gazed at all of their wealth of soul , then joined the commanders in taking it."
