During the 21 century, political leaders with aggressive and uncouth natures had become rather popular after spontaneous growth of a certain country. Countries got influenced by such examples and started following similar ideals. Soon treaties among countries started to break off, progression in nuclear weaponry resumed and the world was within the verge of a warring era but due to some unforeseen events everything changed. People all around the world had a blue glass like screen appeared out of thin air with a greeting to the “system”. It had stated the new arrival of a new world where things as we know will cease to exist and will give rise to a new era. People all around the world were confused, anxious while some other were just excited after the appearance of this event disaster soon fell upon them.
Things such as mana and monsters came into existence but the world fell into an utter havoc. People at first were introduced to many “features” such as inventory, classes, stats. Most important of all is that they received the item which our current world runs on, Essence. Essence was a material made by the system for humans to cope up with mana since sudden exposure to mana would lead to many diseases such as the blue mind and funnerous. At first many chose the sword rather than following the path of magic but due to rather poor combat capabilities especially during the past, humans were bound to be slaughtered.
Beasts started to spawn out of areas with high density of mana. Being superior to humans in brute strength and defence, humans soon started to fall one by one. People started to give more importance to magic as it allowed them better range and damage that couldn’t be accomplished by the common man of the past in close combat. Having been living in an era of guns and other range weapons, humans strived with the use of magic. Magic soon had all the limelight and instantly soared through the skies as the only possible last stand of humans. New discoveries started to appear but the most important of all was that magic could potentially lead to infinite resources for humans. Melee equipment were soon disregarded as weak and inferior as compared to magic

Humans had found a solution to decrease spawn rates but could only be possible within the abundance of artificial objects surrounding that area. Human development restored and they had soon made many breakthroughs in development. Humans started to stand for themselves and cope up with the situation. The future seemed rather bright and the new era of adventuring soon came into existence. Monsters would drop items which varied from equipments to consumables.
The world within the walls soon started flourishing even though the population of humans decreased by an incredible amount. Ambitious men started to stride among the front lines in the savage world beyond the walls, clan making started to be become a common occurring. A world of mages had soon started where life and death had become a common occurrence in this obscure world nobody in the past would have imagined.
