As he continued his Journey, Ean finally reached his destination. He could see a huge grey wall of magically imbued cement in front of him with an barrier which you had to see in a very close range to figure it out.
He heaved a sigh as he reminisced about how fast things had gone by. During his journey not a single monster had interfered in front of his path. He was rather excited on the new possibilities that he would be able to experience in this area.
He resumed his walk and continued to move around the walls to figure out where the entrance is. He soon saw 2 blazing azure like flames with a tall grey protrusion on the top of the wall. Having figured out that around it would be the entrance he headed towards it.
As he reached near the entrance he could see a gruff man with a seemingly heavy robe on him. His beard was rugged with a broad chest to match his whole attire. He was obviously set there to give a feeling of intimidation if someone were to try anything funny.
As soon as he were about to reach the entrance, the guard with the rugged beard immediately roared at him. “STOP!” his voice was extremely gruff and loud and had an extremely demanding attitude.
Ean followed his orders and stood where the guard told him to.
“You think leeches like you who dwell around the walls could enter for free?” spoke the guard in a very haughty tone. If you were to ask someone then Ean looked like exactly like a peasant if you were to exclude his sword and shield he held on his back.
Fighting in the wilderness, he didn’t need to look out for his attire; his long hair was quite tall behind his head and wore clothes with holes in them with azure like blue eyes which wasn’t very uncommon.
The guard had noticed the fierceness within his eyes but didn’t pay any attention to it.
“Apologies but I am not a peasant, I am here to immigrate to this area. I am not very well aware how how trade goes within this area.” Ean soon shined a gold coin from his palm which instantly caught the attention of the guard. The guard soon loosened his supposedly intimidating expression which a slight grin on his mouth.
“You should had told us earlier, ahahahahahhah” The guard put on an friendly attitude towards Ean at the sight of money. A common man couldn’t dare to offend an influential man. The most common figure of influence was gold within this new world. Currency had to be soon abandoned after the events following appearance of the “system”.
“Do you need any assistance?” The guard asked in a polite manner as to not offend this individual any more. “Lead me to the Guild” Ean said in a clam demeanor, giving off a sense of a person with superiority.
“Yes yes, one minute” The guard soon headed towards his companion mages and assigned someone else to his position while he was off guiding Ean into Allasa. The guards often took glances at his sword and shield giving an expression of pity as they saw him pass by.
The huge entrance soon opened allowing Ean and the guard to enter the capital. As if a whole new world opened, Ean widened his eyes as he saw this scene unfolding in front of himself. Buildings made of wood and stones, proper stone pavements, and most importantly new people.
Having lived most of his life with a single person with very less interactions to other adventures Ean was unsure of what would happen in the future. A lot eyes darted towards to Ean due to his uncouth attire and the guard aiding him to the way to the guild but the main reason for those strange stares was his sword and shield.

Ean was uncomfortable without the surrounding residents gazing directly at him. He made his way to the guild with guard. Soon after reaching there even more gazes followed within the guild. All the eyes stopped idling around the guild and stared at this newcomer’s equipment.
Some people couldn’t believe that he was carrying a sword and a shield with him. All adventurers were equipped with either bows or staffs. Some higher lvl individuals even carried magic imbued guns with them.
Making fun of the new individual that entered behind his backs, some people had to suppress their laughter due to the presence of the guard. Obviously he must’ve been a person of high stature if a guard was accompanying him to a guild.
Having ignored the constant gazes, Ean headed towards the receptionist to sign up as an adventurer.
“Sir, do you need anything?” the receptionist spoke in a polite demeanor. “I’d like a starter essence and also I would preferably also sign up as an adventurer.”
Hearing this the receptionist was slightly shocked but soon collected herself giving a polite smile to him. The individual with a sword and a shield was already suspicious enough among the eyes of the adventurers. The idiocy of the guard had already allowed him into Allasa, he was lucky for him to enter the residence itself without any proper form of proof of being a citizen but Ean though it was common for rich individuals to be let off easy.
“Please sign this contract and soon after this you will receive your items.” The receptionist spoke to Ean as she presented a form before him. Filling up the form with a pen that was beside him, he submitted the form to the receptionist.
The receptionist soon accepted the form and gave him a starter essence. Taking the starter essence, he crushed it with his hand and soon a he received it.
WelcomeCongratulations for having entered the system, you now have access to many of our “features” that will help you support in your journey. Say “help” to know the commands from the system. Happy adventuring!
Ean having read numerous books on the system as well as swordmanship knew very well how the system worked. Barely holding his excitement, he wanted to leave as soon as possible to view his stats. “Sir you seem to be a user of the sword, would you like to sign up for extra sword classes for free?” said the receptionist. Ean said a quick yes without any thought.
“If you want to take any quests from the billboard, then please take the sheet off the billboard if you want to accept it. The reward will be given by the guild itself and there will be a quest compensation if you’re unable to accomplish the quest within the given duration. That will be all”. After getting the information from the receptionist Ean soon headed outside to see his stats.
“Stats!” spoke Ean unable to hold his excitement and soon a blue panel greeted him.
