Snow suddenly woke up from her nightmare, crying and breathing heavily, her heart pounding in her chest. She felt someone give her a hug and gently pat her on the head. She buried her head in the person, sobbing as she slowly composed herself. After a while she calmed down, the person taking a step back, allowing her to take a look at the person. She realised it to not be Alan, as she expected it to be, but someone else.
She could easily recognise his Ice Wyvern features, mainly his white hair and light blue eyes. He seemed to be around as tall as Alan, his hair slightly longer and body slightly less muscular. He wore a coat similar to her own, a darker white shirt and white pants under it.
"Um, who are you?" She inquired slowly, her voice still breaking slightly due to crying so much just seconds ago.
"Frost", he answered with a smile. "You are the one that was unconscious for two moon cycles, right?"
She felt slightly embarrassed at the fact others knew her as the 'one that was unconscious for two moon cycles', she didn't like it, but she couldn't deny it either. "Yes, why are you here?" She questioned with a stern look on her face, her voice now proper, a sense of authority in her tone.
"Whoa, you shouldn't be asking me that after you were sleeping here, among this many monsters, who could have killed you if someone wasn't to pass by and see a girl passed out with monsters surrounding her." He replied, surprised and slightly offended by what and how she asked.
She looked around, clearly recognizing the remains of ice and snow golems, and some Ice wolves. There were probably more which she didn't see, but there were enough for her to know he didn't lie. "I am extremely sorry for the rudeness in my question, but why were you here still? This isn't somewhere someone would be just passing by for no reason." She questioned, apologetic, but still not satisfied by the answer
"I usually do, to train mainly, sometimes just to have some peace of mind." He answered her question, though it gave her another question.
"Don't the monsters bother you?" She inquired.
"No, they usually leave whoever is here alone, they don't want unnecessary injuries afterall," Frost shrugged.
"Why were they trying to attack me?" Snow inquired.
"Oh, I am sure they weren't really trying to attack aiming to kill and eat you, it's nothing, don't worry about it, probably because you were asleep," Frost shrugged.
Snow sighed as she got up, prepared to leave. "I thank you for the help, sorry for causing you the trouble of fighting that many. I will take my leave."
"Hey, wait." Frost called out, stopping her in tracks by standing in front of her. She tilted her head at him, confused. "Do you think you can train with me? I am sure you would want to train too because you haven't practiced in a long while, I promise I won't harm you in any lethal way."
She thought hard on this offer, she could either go by the plan Alan made for her, or train with him. She nodded as a yes, thinking it would be a good way to pass the time and get better. It would be good for her to gain some experience afterall. The only time she has actually fought is a line of thought she would not follow, not wanting to remember.
"Start whenever you are ready." He offered after stepping away.
"Don't mind if I do." She said just as she jumped backwards, to create some more distance between the two.
Both of them knew the neither of them is going to go all out, so to not reveal their strongest attacks. She pointed her staff at him and shot a barrage of ice spears, none sharp enough to kill him. He grabbed his sword's hilt, carried by him on his back, and smashed it on the ground as he unsheathed it. It sent forward a wave of ice crystals, acting as a wall to stop her ice spears. The impact also sent a cloud of snow into the air, covering him from her view, a smart move. Snow fully expected him to suddenly come out of the snow cloud, till she heard a crunching sound behind her.
She swung her staff behind to protect herself from an attack. Frost swung his sword at her with full force, and although she didn't get cut, the impact still proved to be strong enough to send her flying. She flipped in the air and landed on her feet, sliding a bit to slow herself down without falling back. Just as she stopped she sent another barrage of ice spears towards him, these ones being ever faster.
He swung his to attack the ice spears before they hit him. Despite using a greatsword he swung it as easily as a normal sword. Again slamming his sword on the ground Frost forming a wall of ice in front of him, which he smashed into shards with his sword, having been directed towards Snow. She spun her spear around in front of her to block the crystals. Again, Frost used the cover of the snow cloud to get behind her. Just as he reached almost close enough to attack her, his leg sunk into the ground and he tripped, a wave of ice crystals hitting him at the same time, freezing him in place.
"It looks like this is already over, you did good though." Snow reassured as she took a step away from him. Suddenly the ice encasing him burst into a rain of shards of ice everywhere, also blowing a cloud of snow dust. When the dust settled down she noticed Frost, in his dragon form, being even taller than the trees, around eighty feet in height when standing straight and a hundred and ten feet in length.
His dragon form possessed two arms, two legs and a pair of wings, classifying him as not a wyvern as Snow thought at first, but a dragon. His blue eyes remained the same, his scales being mainly white with light blue scales scattered around. The under side of his wings and body were completely white, his tail also white with spiraling light blue scales, a thagomizer of sharp ice shards at the end of his tail, white in color with a hint of blue.

Fighting a dragon in her human form would have proved hard for her, the reason she smiled. "So this how it's going to be, eh?"
She transformed into her wyvern form as well, ice encasing her before bursting into a cloud of dust snow, settling down after a few moments to reveal her dragon form. She appeared to be smaller than him, around seventy feet in height when standing completely straight and a hundred feet in length.
Her scales were snow white in color, completely, wings and tail included. The only part of her body not white in color were her eyes, the same as her human form. The only difference in the two seemed to be extra pair of limbs Frost possessed due to being a dragon. Snow only possessed a hind limbs with razor sharp hooked claws, and a pair of wings, possessing tiny claws at the joint.
She charged up her breath and prepared to shoot at his legs to immobilize him as soon as the battle begun. Frost also thinking of doing the same, their breaths colliding mid-air, sending a rain of ice shards as well as a cloud of dust. She used the dust as cover and pounced right at him through the cloud. Not being able to see her as she pounced, Frost failed to counter or block her attack and fell backwards.
She successfully pinned him to the ground, now trying to bite him. He grabbed her head with his front limbs to stop her and tried pushing her with his legs and wings. Both of them were beating their wings, neither of their wings being strong enough to damage the other. Snow tried her best to keep him pinned down and slice him with her claws, whereas Frost used all his strength to try push her back.
He finally succeeded after she landed some scratches on his wings and arms, failing to draw blood or end the fight. He kicked her leg with full force, making her trip, and used the opportunity to push her away. He got up instantly as Snow felt to the side, smacking her in the head with his tail just as she went to bite him again. He grabbed her wings with his forelimbs and tried holding her in place to use his ice breath from close range. She used both her legs to kick him in the chest, knocking him to the ground. She tried to bite him again, but he slapped his hand and wings right on her head, managing it to grab it, slamming and burying her head in the snow. She got up and shook the snow off her head, opening her eyes again after a few moments, just as Frost grabbed her by the tail and flung her with all his force.
She landed and rolled for a bit, losing control of her movements. He attempted to bite her neck, being clearly stronger, but also slower. She beat her wings to push herself back to her feet, dodging his attack. As his head remained on the ground from his failed hite attempt, she pounced right on his neck, closing her hooked claws on it too. He struggled for a bit trying to bite or push her, but it didn't work. She bent her neck down to bite him when his tail smacked her head, throwing her off balance and off his neck.
Frost got up in an instant and clawed her chest, causing a deep wound and drawing blood. She let out a roar before blasting his wing with her ice breath, not a fully charged one, but enough to freeze his wing and cause pain. He took a step back shaking his wing to remove the ice and make it usable again. Snow charged and jumped at him before he could, kicking him in the chest with both her legs, throwing him to the ground, again. This time she didn't close the distance, instead charging up her ice breath as she landed on the ground and he attempted to get up.
He got back up, not fast enough however. She shot her fully charged ice breath at him, creating ice crystals on the ground and his body, half freezing him. He moved violently to break free but she pushed him down as she rammed into him, placing put her jaws around his neck. He knew any movement meant she is going to pierce his with those serrated teeth, resulting him in choosing to give up, letting out a sad sounding growl.
Both returned to their human forms, still next to each other. Frost attempted to get up, failing to do so. "Well, that was some good practice, you are certainly strong."
Just as he said this, Snow collapsed, falling right beside him, her face buried in the snow. He stared at her, confused and worried. "I am good, just tired and bleeding." She mumbled, her voice muffled due to her face being in the snow.
He got up and went to get some bandages. When he got back she was sitting, bleeding from her chest. It was a deep wound. There was a print of blood where she had fallen too. In their Wyvern or Dragon form, their resistance to pain is much higher. Even though she had said she was fine, and even won with such a deep wound, it wasn't fine anymore.
He handed her the bandage and prepared to leave. "Wait, can you not do it for me?" She asked, requesting him to do it for her. She had never gotten any wounds deep enough that they wouldn't heal in a couple days before. Hence, she had never learnt how to bandage her wounds.
He became slightly flustered and said, "No way, you are girl so I can't really, touch around... those areas." He left after saying this. She was just sitting there, trying to figure out how apply it. She just wrapped it around her chest and tied it in place. She figured that was how it's done, considering Alan hadn't complained before. Back then she had given that offer to show him how nice she was, so, she was certain if it was a bit off he wouldn't mind.
She was also sort of unsatisfied with the reason Frost gave her. Well, most Wyverns and Dragons aren't mammals. They lay eggs and can't produce any milk. So she didn't really have breasts even in her human form. Meaning, it shouldn't be a problem since there isn't anything there.
When she got back to where she had set camp for the moon cycle, it was already very dark. She had slept during the day, so she wasn't really sleepy. She decided to just wander around nearby to pass some time.
There was a gentle, cold breeze blowing from towards North. The stars were out and the sky was completely black. It was a new moon night and the stars were the only things which helped her see in the dark. She didn't really had night vision, which she wished one of the artifacts granted, but there weren't any in the ones he found.
She wandered aimlessly for a few hours, not finding anything and returned to sleep.
She trained for the remaining time, alone. She was hoping she would find Frost to train with him, but she didn't. She had also mapped out the entire snowy region and some of the rainforest and desert too. The academy wasn't having any classes for the time. The academy seemed like just an excuse to gather them here and tell them about every type of monster and stuff. They weren't taught any fighting skills or anything of the sort.
She was mildly scared during this moon cycle, even more so after she had that dream. She thought that her 'master' will show up again for something, but he didn't. She was also certain now that she wasn't going to kill Alan, or anyone.
At the day before the full moon night, which would mark the end of the moon cycle, the day Crystal and Alan were supposed return, they were already back, a day earlier basically. They weren't alone though.
With them was another girl, hair was had stipes of black, light brown and white. Her hair looked like chocolate for some reason. She had her hair tied in buns on her head, hiding something, probably horns. She was wearing a long dress which was mainly brown, black and white, like her hair, and had long sleeves. If the dress was completely white, it would had looked a lot like Snow's. The girl had brown eyes as well.
From this color code, Snow felt certain of one thing. The girl in front of her, was an Earth Dragon.
