Miss Nova,
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Sirius, and I served with Theo during the war. We were close, closer as brothers, really. I know it's been a long time since you've heard anything about him, and for that, I'm sorry.
I came across some of your letters at an old military camp near the border where we were previously stationed. They were stacked and were tucked away in the corner of a medic's tent, along with other things left behind in the chaos. Seeing your name, I knew I had to reach out. I apologize for having read them. Theo talked about you constantly. About how you were the one thing that kept him going through all the hell we faced. I admired that he had someone who cared for him that much.
I haven't seen Theo since the battle at Blackstone Valley. Things got messy, and we were separated in the confusion. I've been searching for any trace of him since then, but it's been difficult. The records are a mess, and the people who might know something are scattered.
I'm not giving up, though. Theo saved my life more times than I can count, and I owe it to him to find out what happened. I'll keep looking, and I'll let you know as soon as I find anything more concrete. I know how much you meant to him and you deserve answers.

Please take care of yourself, Miss Nova. I know you've been through a lot, but I hope this letter brings you some sort of comfort, knowing that someone out there is still looking for Theo.
Sincerely,
Sirius

Sirius,
Thank you for writing to me. I didn't know if I'd ever hear from anyone who served with Theo. Your letter means more to me than you could possibly know. It's been so long since I've had any news, and even though what you've told me isn't the answer I've been hoping for, it's something. It's a connection to Theo, however small. I'll take what I can get as it has been so long.
Finding my letters... I can't tell you how that makes me feel. It's as if a part of me was still out there with him, and now it's made its way back to me. Theo saved your life? I knew he was brave, but hearing that makes me so proud, even though it also fills me with more fear. Do you know how he was before you were separated? What if he was injured? What if something worse happened?
I don't know how to thank you for what you're doing, for not giving up on him. I'm glad he had a friend like you by his side. I can't give up either, no matter how hard it's been. Please, if you find anything, let me know. Even if it's bad news, I need to know what happened to him.
Thank you again, Sirius. I'll be waiting to hear from you.
With gratitude,
Nova
