19-The war begin

Emil's training period lasted for several years under Jamal's strict guidance. He trained alongside Jamal's three other disciples, each of whom had their own unique skill set. Emil struggled at first, but soon he was able to keep up with the rest of the group. They would spend hours every day practicing their martial arts techniques and honing their abilities.

One day, as they were training in the mountains, Emil asked the other disciples about their goals in life. One of them, a young woman named Karima, said she wanted to become the strongest warrior in the world. Another, a man named Roberto, said he wanted to use his powers to help others. The third disciple, a quiet man named Jack, simply said he wanted to find inner peace.

Emil thought for a moment before saying, "I want to protect my family and friends. I want to be strong enough to keep them safe."

Jamal overheard their conversation and smiled. "Good answer, Emil. But remember, true strength comes from within. You must cultivate not only your body, but also your mind and spirit."

Emil nodded, and they continued their training.

Years passed, and Emil became a skilled warrior, but he knew there was still much more to learn.

On this day an event will happens that will awaken a memory of horror that humanity forgot a long time ago.

The aliens attacked again, but this time with much more advenced technology, their numbers became uncountable. Humans tried to think of a reasonable reason of how the same aliens that they fought just a few decades ago and won against them, evolved to such an extent.

This war between the humans and the aliens had been raging for years, with neither side gaining a clear advantage. The humans who had started cultivating were evenly matched with the technologically advanced aliens, but the aliens had the advantage of numbers and being able to escape to space.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

As the war escalated, Jamal decided to take action. He knew that since humanity just started cultivating, they aren't able to produce an ascension stage expert who could survive in the vacuum of space. Unless one of the fourteen disciples makes a move, the war could continue for ever, as he knew where I lived, he came to me and begged me to let him go and fight the aliens himself.

I sat in my study, thinking about the conversation I had with Jamal earlier. I couldn't deny the fact that the aliens' attacks on Earth had been brutal and devastating. But I knew that humanity had to find its own way to ascend, to become a galactic race on its own.

Jamal's passion for fighting the aliens was evident, and I could understand his frustration. "Jamal, I know how you feel. But humans can't rely on external help forever. Thay needs to produce their own ascension stage expert," I said to him.

"I understand, teacher. But seeing the aliens come and slaughter us as they please, then escape to space, it just makes my blood boil with rage," Jamal replied.

I nodded in agreement, "I promise you, once they produce their own ascension expert, I will give you the green light to do what you want. Even if it means you slashing their whole planet with your saber."

Of course, Jamal and I both knew that producing an ascension stage expert was easier said than done. I sighed and changed the subject, "How have you been all these years?"

"Nothing much, in a sense, I became like your teacher. I have supreme power, but nothing to use it on. It's really boring," Jamal said.

I chuckled at his response, "At least you have your disciples with you. You even took my son."

"Hah, you were the one who left him with me. Speaking of him, his talent is weird. Every time he reaches a new level, his body seems to hit its limit. But as long as he works hard, he will always be able to break through. I can't say anything but, as expected of your son," Jamal said.

I smiled proudly at Jamal's words. Even though I hadn't seen Emil for years, I knew that he was in good hands with Jamal. As I continued to think about the conversation, I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread for the future of humanity. The war with the aliens was far from over, and humanity was at a disadvantage. But with people like Jamal and my son fighting for our survival, I had hope that humanity could prevail.
