"Dad, I'm only fourteen, how can I live alone?" Emil asked.
Chuckling, I responded, "Well, I may not be an expert in cultivation, but one thing I do know is that cultivators must carve their own path. Plus, you won't be alone. I'm sending you to stay with one of my friends. He's a powerful cultivator who owes me a favor."
Emil's eyes widened in surprise. "A cultivator and a friend of yours? Why have you never mentioned him before?" he asked.
I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to reveal. "He used to be a business partner of mine before he chose the cultivator path," I said vaguely.
But little did he know that was just a lie.
In reality, I was sending Emil to train with Jamal. Why Jamal? Well, I had considered creating a clone of myself to train Emil, but I knew I would be too biased and would end up spoiling him. Sending him to Jamal was the best option for his growth as a cultivator, even if it meant lying to him about the true nature of our relationship with Jamal.
Plus he still have the ring I gave him, so he should be alright.

The previous night.
After pouring my Qi into Emil's body to reconstruct it, I left his room and released my spiritual sense to search for Jamal. After scanning the whole world, I finally found him in the Sahara Desert with his three disciples. Unlike my other disciples, Jamal had chosen to remain alone and not create a faction, only accepting three disciples upon my request.

I disappeared from my place and reappeared in front of Jamal, but he didn't recognize me at first and attacked me, of course he couldn't harm me. I couldn't help but tease him, saying "Oh, you're attacking your teacher? How filial of you."
After he realized who I was, he greeted me with respect. His disciples were shocked to see their master calling someone else "teacher."
Jamal introduced me to his disciples, Jack, Roberto, and Karima. I remarked, "So, these are the disciples you chose. In other words, my grand disciples. HHMM, I've never had grand disciples before, but as per customs, I probably should give you a gift."
His disciples were excited, assuming that if I was truly their grand teacher, then the gift would be valuable. Jamal scolded them for being greedy, saying "Look at you already being greedy. I didn't teach you right."
But I didn't mind their eagerness. "It's alright," I said. "A person should have some greed if they want to succeed in life." With a wave of my hand, a bottle appeared in front of them. "Take this pill when you want to break through the divine sea stage. It should help."
After that, I turned to Jamal and asked if we could speak in private. He agreed, and when we were alone, I got straight to the point. "I'm going to send my son to train under you," I told him.
Jamal was surprised. "You have a son?" he exclaimed. He was more shocked that i have a son, than the fact that I am sending him to train under him.
"I'm not allowed to have one?" I asked jokingly.
He seemed flustered, not knowing what to say. But I gave him the address and told him to come pick up my son. "He doesn't know that I'm a cultivator," I added. "I'll tell him that you're a business friend who followed the cultivation path. Other than that, you can handle it as you see fit. Bye!" And with that, I teleported away before Jamal could respond.
I could hear him stuttering as I left. "But I..."
Later, his disciples returned to him and asked, "Master, who was that?"
"He is someone very powerful," Jamal replied. "Anyway, let's prepare. We will have new company from now on."
