Sum Ting Wong was attending a lecture, but thanks to Recipe and level 1 influenza he couldn't concentrate at all.
Recipe (Level 2): Whenever you eat something, you instantly know its ingredient and how to prepare the said food. Max: 20 recipes. Currently: 3/20. You can forget a recipe from your memory by choosing the following option.
Do you want to forget a recipe?
>Yes >No
Burger, ground meat, coke, soda, ice cream, chocolate. Those ingredients kept floating around in his mind all day long. He felt he would go crazy if he didn't make at least one of them.
As soon as the lecture ended, Wong immediately went to the nearest supermarket, buying several necessary ingredients and headed back to his apartment.
Around the time Wong was inside of his room, he immediately put the plastic bag, filled with ground meat and other ingredients and opened his skill screen.
Kitchenware (Level 2): Focusing your Mana to create up to 4 Kitchenware of your choice that lasts for one hour. You must know its name, directly seen its shape, and understand its initial function before you are able to summon it.
Vocal: Not registered.
Somatic: Not registered.
Cost: 10 Mana.
Do you want to use Kitchenware 2?
>Yes >No
Normally, he would've just clicked on Yes. But there was something that had been bothering Wong's mind for a little while. This time, rather than clicked Yes, he clicked the Vocal options.
Please hold "🎤" to record the necessary keyword/sound to use Kitchenware.
It seemed using Vocal would allow him to use a skill, in this case, Kitchenware without him opening the skill menu.
Rubbing his chin, normally Wong would go for something a simple word, like kitchenware for Kitchenware, but the moment before he opened his mouth, Wong held his tongue back.
Wouldn't it become troublesome if every time he said kitchenware a series of kitchenware appeared from out of nowhere?
Of course, that might not be the case. But, there was also a high chance he was right.
"Hm...." After closing his eyes for some time, an idea struck Wong.
He moved his finger toward the microphone symbol and touched it, holding it for a few seconds until the screen changed to a blank screen, with nothing but a straight white line in the middle of it.

"Summon Kitchenware."
Like a graphic equalizer, the input signal was sent to the screen, making the line waving around.
Registration complete.
Without checking the change in Kitchenware screen, Wong instantly tried out the method of using a skill.
"Summon Kitchenware."
As soon as Wong said that, a portable stove, a cartridge gas, a skillet, and a spatula appeared. And of course, by using this he didn't need to worry about the gas expense and didn't need to clean them. A big win for him.
Without wasting any second, Wong picked up the ground beef, divided them into four portions, and gently pressed each portion of ground beef into a disk about half an inch thickness. The recipe stated that the thickness was 1-inch, but Wong thought that was a little bit too much meat for a burger, even though he already used the cheapest one around.
Weirdly enough, even though the instruction of how to make the patties were playing in Wong's head as if he was watching a cooking tutorial video, his hand just couldn't follow the instruction. As such, the patty looked oval and slightly thinner than what he had imagined.
Faithfully following every direction, Wong started spreading the butter on the top of the skillet and started heating it. The butter's rich smell was filling his room, the aroma alone was enough to produce a hunger sensation that came along with his droll. He placed the bun halves cut-side down in the skillet and toasted them until the surface was golden-brown. But as he did that, he felt a weird sensation, like water flowing from his veins toward his spatula, and the bun was absorbing it.
Shrugging his shoulder, Wong moved the bun to the plate. He increased the heat to medium-high and keep a careful eye on the pan. As soon as he saw the first wisp of smoke, thanks to the instruction he knew he was ready to cook the burgers.
Wong placed the burger patties in the hot pan, leaving a little space between each one. It wasn't the best meat around but it still gave off a sweet smell. Not to mention, to the increase in his dexterity he found it was a little bit easier for him to slide a spatula under the burgers and flip them to the other side without breaking them apart. But as he did that, he once again felt something was flowing from his veins.
And remembered something...
Wong opened his skill screen and clicked Nutritional Cooking.
Nutritional Cooking (Level 4): Whenever you cook food, you imbue your mana to that food and increase its nutritional value, increasing attributes up to 12. The benefits of this last for 8 hours. Each Nutrition may only be taken once.
Though, even though Wong's food might be full of nutrition, his motion still lacked the speed and precision compared to the cook that cooked this burger... And the taste. Wong still had a hard time to sprinkle the right amount of salt and pepper, and he knew the creator cooked the patties for 6 minutes and spent another 17 seconds to take them out in and transfer them to the toasted buns, while Wong spent almost another minute to do that.
Finishing the burger by putting on the toppings, Wong started to nibble them. He supposed it tasted a bit different from what he remembered, then again, he realized he had sprinkled the salt a little bit too much.
Either way, after finishing one burger, Wong opened his attributes menu, checking was there any change to his attributes.

Sure enough, his attributes had been increased by 4 in total. Which, he supposed was still good if he compared it to his attributes.
And with the increase in his Stamina, Wong thought this would be a good time for him to start doing laundry.
Wong went toward the mountain of dirty laundry, moving them from the basket bin to a laundry bag... But as he did that....
