Hanister's face was practically sticking on the car window, almost merging with the glass.
"Please don't do this." Gadina was sitting next to the aisle. She said as she looked at the girl who was being way too dramatic.
However, Hanister clearly didn't hear what she said. She continued on staring at the buildings and farmlands as they passed through. "I've never taken a hovertrain before." A moment later, Hanister turned and said to the person next to her.
"Oh, I know." Gadina pulled out her music player from her backpack. "I can tell for sure."
"You're listening to music again?" Hanister frowned a little.
"What am I supposed to do for the next half hour then?"
"You can talk to me."
Gadina glanced over at the girl but continued on with what she was doing.
"Hey!" Hanister was dissatisfied. "Why would you—"
"Calm down. I can still hear you." Gadin cut her off impatiently.
Hanister only pouted to protest silently, she didn't say anything else. That was their way of getting along. She knew that Gadina wasn't as cold and detached as she looked, and that she wasn't actually mad at her.
Hanister leaned back to her own seat, pulling out the city map they had bought at the station. She spread it wide open, at the same time taking out another piece of paper. The note contained a list of places and shops. It was the exclusive attraction she had gotten from Gadina. A pocket list.
Of course, it would have been much easier if she could check through the Internet, since most of the communication devices nowadays can be used to surf the web. Unfortunately, none of them had anything like that. She never brought hers in the first place, and Gadina had thrown away her own.

"How about going here first?" Hanister showed Gadina the map, pointing at a spot on it.
Gadina took a brief glance. "Observation tower?" She frowned and asked. That was a building in the Central District of Rodenzel.
"I'd suggest not now," she said. "If you wanna see the sunset."
"Sunset?" Hanister's eyes widened.
"Don't tell me you've never seen the sunset." Gadina raised one of her brows.
"I've seen it!" Hanister retorted, taking out a pen and scribbled down the time on the map. "I just didn't think that we could go in the afternoon," she said as she was writing. "Which of these two places do you reckon we should go first then?" She pointed at two different spots on the map and asked again once she had finished writing.
"If I remember correctly, the shops in the Back Alley Market normally open late. Footbridge Gallery might be the better choice, and it's right next to the Central Art Museum of Rodenzel. The park's open almost all day." Gadina thought for a little before answering, then she took a look at the map again. "If you're okay with the heat, we can visit the Lucian Fountain Square in the morning. It's pretty close to the Evans Temple, but I don't specifically like going to St.Ronaca District. The atmosphere there's a little too religious for me."
She then pointed at another spot on the map. "This should be good too. Legion Shopping Mall is the biggest shopping center in Bincer District. Anyway, if we don't have enough time, we can also visit tomorrow morning."
Gadina then realized that she had said too much. She lifted her head and glanced at Hanister. The girl didn't answer, nor was she looking at her. However, her hand was rapidly jotting down notes on the map. Her lips were curved upwards, and her face was filled with something that hadn't appeared in a long time —— excitement.
Oh no.
Gadina thought, at the same time leaning back in her seat.
I shouldn’t have said that much.
She inwardly sighed and couldn't help but believe that the next two days of vacation would be unbearable.
