I feel so sore! Not to the point where i can’t move, but to the point where it’s hell to do so. But i told the captain i would come early every day, and i don’t go back on my promises. So i change and head on down to the field, before everyone else.
“It’s good to see you kept your promise nick. Now let's begin training.”(knight captain)

Similar to yesterday, i did a much harder workout than all the others even after they came to the field. And then in spirit training other than getting more used to our other form not much happened. But today magic training was in the courtyard. and the grand magus was here today.
“Today we will be working on, what is arguably, the strongest and most divers magic. Arcane magic! Arcane magic has two forms, script, and image. Script is using an ancient language to invoke magic, whil image uses your imagination to realize magic. Each form has its own advantage! With script uses mana more conservatively, image is faster, and has a wider range of use. Today you will be learning some basic words from the magic language. Now the words are in a list over there.”(GM)
He then pointed towards a stack of papers on a desk. Everyone pics on up, and it looked like this.

* Eakyu - earth
* Waze - wind

“So just say the words with the intention of invoking a spell, such as [fasai boluto]”(GM)

When he finished saying the spell a flame, in the shape of a cylinder, floated in front of him. It then flew towards a target across the field.
“So start practising now! And please don’t aim towards others.”(GM)
So as he said, the others and I started practising.

A light blue wall appeared in front of him. We then tried ourselves.

When a shield spell is used, it made a dome around the person, and even followed them.

Shot a mana bolt at the wall, and the wall didn’t break
After a few minutes of us raging around, most of us were slumped on the ground dazed.
“And as you see this is mana exhaustion. As it sounds you will get mentally tired if you use too much of your mana!”(GM)
After what seemed like hours, but was probably about ten minutes, we were back on our feet.
“Now for some combat training!”(GM)
At the sound of this we were all excited! I mean we were summoned as heroes!, but all we’ve been doing is studying, and running! Now we can do something exciting!
“It will be a one on one match, you each will project a mana shield, and launch spells at each other, when a shield is broken, the duel is over! Now anyone want to give it a try?”(GM)

David was going to volunteer but triston cut him off. Now for who triston is, well he’s one of the fue hardcore bullies that still exist in the u.s. And he seems to hate me… yah i’m bullied. But you might have some questions like, why you? Why haven’t you done anything about it?, or why hasn’t he been bulling you since you got to the new world?
Well to answer those questions in order the answers are, i have no idea probably none, because i don’t care, and he hasn’t really done anything really bad. And finally, he’s probably too tired from the morning training.

So we stand at opposite sides of the field. We both cast mana shield, and

We both fire bolts at each other, when the bolts collide, they make a small explosion, producing more smoke than anything

I couldn’t hear what triston said but i think he was casting a spell so i cast one too

The wind wall sucked in all the smoke, but while this was happening i jumped over the was while casting another spell

I see triston looking confused as he sees me jump over the wall which had collected the smoke making a black wall, and his, what i know saw was an, earth bolt. As my water bolt flies at him he couldn't react in time as the water bolt splashed at his sheild. I don’t give him a rest as i try out an idea i had, i run up at him and cast a wind wall

The wind wall appears in front of him, and he falls backward in surprise. I kick the ground hard blasting me backwards as i cast a spell

The fire bolt hits the wind wall, making a plomb of fire and smoke blast at him. Hah! Just a i thought! When i saw the fire and wind bolt make a cloud of smoke i thought this might happen!
The smoke dissipates, and reveals triston laying on the ground with no mana shield.
“The duel is over! Good job nick! That was an excellent use of magic! Triston you panicked too much, otherwise that would have been a much more evenly match.”(GM)
It seems triston was butt hurt, both literally and figuratively. As he glared at me while rubbing his behind.
The rest of class was some more duels, and practising the spells. Afterwards the rest was normal, with eating dinner, and weapon swinging practiseing. Then bed. again
